now that the entire world has entered 2021, i want to wish you all a very, very happy new year!! i don’t think i need to express how shitty 2020 was as a whole, so i won’t be going into detail. but, i do have to count my blessings.

This is one of me & my partner’s main Songs. Nearly every fucking line applies to our relationship so well. It’s such a happy, hopeful song and it makes me so emotional. It was the first song they played when we got in the car after they picked me up from the airport, and I commissioned a @snazzystarlight painting of the song for them, and it’s on the wall above their bed now :)))

This song makes me fucking CRY. It’s about a fucking CAT. NAT’S CAT TÍMIDO. BABY BOY. BEAUTIFUL. It’s about how taking care of her cat who’d been abused before helped her to feel more hopeful in her own life and about how they’re going to make it through together. It’s such a fucking beautiful song. GOD. And it reminds me of being at my partner’s house too bc I was there with them when I first heard it and when I found out it was about her cat. I listened to it at work today and just wished that instead of being at work I could be laying on my partner’s bed blasting this through their speaker, crying and staring at the ceiling. Damn

This song, despite not actually specifying what exactly makes Michelle a monster from hell, is sung in a way that is very vibey and sexy and I enjoy singing along to it.

4. Cloud 9 by Beach Bunny ft. Tegan and Sara

“But when she loves me, I feel like I’m floating.” That’s me with my partner so much. The og version of this song without T&S uses he/him pronouns throughout, but this one uses she/her in the second chorus and they/them in the third, which is why I prefer this one since I am dating a she/they.

5. Ohio River by Caroline Says

This song is basically a meme in our friend group now because I made it @coolthxmcdoom’s nickname in the meetup planning server because their name is Caroline and they live in Ohio, but before I introduced it to the friend group it was just an extremely vibey song that came up on my local college’s radio station and I should probably smoke weed to it at some point. And now that it’s also relevant to the meetup memories, it has added significance to me.

6. idolize by Ace Smith

Ace Smith is my good friend! I heard a short clip of this song probably a year or so ago, or something like that, when it was unfinished, and thought “ooh this is cool I can’t wait for the full release.” It’s released now! It’s def Ace’s best song, both in my opinion and in Ace’s. Makes me really emotional, I highly recommend it. Please listen to my friend’s music y’all he puts so much work into it and it’s so well made I have so much love and respect for this person it’s insane

This is another song where every line just punches me in the fuckin chest. Gets me in the fuckin insecurity. Perfectly puts into words feelings that I struggle to convey. I feel so seen.

Another song that Jax played a lot in the car during my trip. They told me then that when they were first crushing on me, this song reminded them of me. I’d never known that before. Now every time I listen to it or it gets stuck in my head I think of this moment in the car when they were singing along to it and I happened to take the selfie at the exact moment they pointed at me at the line “wanna wake up with you.”

This is yet another song that I heavily associate with Jax, and have from the start of our relationship because they put it on the playlist they made me, and it’s always made me cry.

This song is so catchy. I’m not fully sure how it’s supposed to be interpreted and rn I’m a bit too high to do too much analysis but regardless I vibe with it. And I like her vocals.

This is another one that I found from my college radio station. It’s sort of corny but in a cute way, and the sound is really cool. I like it. I listened to some more of boy pablo’s music because of it, and he seems to have a very soft sorta vibe/aesthetic that I really like.

Part 10 of the Mostly Human AU

Getting through to the last of the suggestions from @manadrite ‘s most recent comment (as of posting this)! I love having suggestions, keep ‘em coming!

Connor isn’t one to get terribly scared. He actually gets a thrill from scary situations.

His sense of self-preservation is startlingly low, for a being granted with immeasurable intelligence. At least, that’s what Hank claims.

Furthermore, Connor loves Horror. From movies to novels to images, he loves things made to be scary.

- Connor may or may not have had a weird crush on Slenderman for like a week. 

Maybe it was the towering height and the lack of a face, or maybe it was the slim fitting suit that made the creature so appealing to him.

Okay maybe Connor has a suit kink.

When he sees Gavin in an officer’s clothing and finds the man slightly attractive, it’s clear that he just straight (pfft) up has a uniform kink.

Connor will take this newfound information to the  g r a v e.

Connor goes to see a horror movie with Hank and the twins, and he’s ecstatic. 

He puts all of the pieces together detective style to figure out how the protagonists are either gonna die or solve the problem while Collin and Conan grip their seats a bit too tight and while Hank mutters flaws about the movie under his breath.

“This scene does not include a lap dance.” 

“What was that?” 

“Nothing!”

By the end of the movie, Collin and Conan had migrated to partially hide behind Connor, and Connor points this out to them.

They lie and say they were getting sleepy, and were dozing off on his seat.

Connor goes with it with a knowing smirk and a wink, mischief twinkling in his eyes.

Connor goes missing one day.

They try to give him a call when he they don’t see him that morning, but they receive no answer.

Hank and the twins storm through the house, upturning furniture and looking under the beds, in the closets, outside. He’s nowhere to be found.

They call up all of his friends, but nobody knows where he is.

The DCPD gets at least fifteen calls all at once reporting Connor missing.

While everyone is freaking out, Connor is actually, in fact, not missing.

He is out for a walk, Sumo at the vet’s for a check up and grooming, and he spots an animal shelter/pet shop. 

There are dogs and cats in cages by the windows, and Connor gravitates towards them without thought to anything else.

He enters the shop and, after talking with the person behind the counter for ten minutes, is surrounded by animals, all vying for his attention.

He’d never seen a cat before this, and honestly, he now holds cats to the same regard as dogs. 

It’s his first time seeing a lot of animals, all of them immensely cute. He giggles when a rabbit nibbles on his pointer finger.

The employee who allowed this to happen is melting against the counter, everything is too much. Too cute. 

The employee pulls out a camera and records, knowing the manager would love to use this as an ad. 

Connor already gave his consent for any media that his interaction might appear in, so it’s all gucci, even though Connor’s too preoccupied with the animals to even realize he’s being recorded.

Connor is there for a few hours, all of the time considered blissful to the android.

The video was sent to the editor as soon as the employee got clips of Connor interacting with each and every one of the animals. 

It's edited impressively quickly, yet still professionally; the editor accredited it to “passion”. 

When the ad goes up on all of the shelter/shop ‘s social media, with Connor tagged in the photo, everything halts.

Connor finally registers that his phone, being sat on by two guinea pigs, is ringing.

He answers it, and is disappointed when he's told to return home immediately by Hank. Hank sounds angry, distressed, and relieved all at once.

The employee reassures him, telling him that he can return whenever he’d like.

There’s an issue when Connor is on his way home, however, as he gets attacked. 

A man tries to mug him with a knife to his throat, pushing him into an alleyway, and while Connor manages to push him away, he doesn’t anticipate the man having accomplices.

He gets a few surprise stab wounds that go into some biocomponents, but their timers are set to at least an hour before he shuts down.

He defeats his attackers and sends Hank his location, telling him that he needs emergency care needs to be taken to Kamski as soon as possible.

His systems kick him into sleep mode against a cold alley wall to preserve thirium, which leaks copiously from his many wounds.

Connor wakes up to the ceiling of Kamski’s “operating” room, vaguely wondering if the past few months had been the equivalent of a dream, if he had imagined all of the friends he’d made and all of the things he’d experienced.

The thought...saddens Connor.

Luckily, a few minutes after he awakens, he hears Hank’s gruff voice and a plethora of footsteps approaching the room he’s in.

Connor goes to sit up, but winces in pain. His movement brings up a prompt, asking if he’d like to interface with the android equivalent of an IV, though it contains a liquid that promotes self-reparation at the cost of his mental capabilities being lowered until his wounds are healed.

TL;DR, it’s the closest Connor can get to pain killing medication.

He accepts the interface and he suddenly feels...oddly happy?

Everything is moving around the slightest bit and Connor can’t help but smile. Everything was great and he was having fun, sitting on the table. 

He giggles drunkenly.

His wounds are slowly closing themselves, and he scoots to the edge of the table while humming an unknown tune. He smiles triumphantly once his knees finally hang over the edge, he kicks them and rocks his head side to side.

When everyone enters the room, he’s surrounded by people and get-well gifts and he’s just so happy. He really doesn’t think of the consequences of his actions.

So that’s exactly why he thanks them all with hugs and kisses, skin tingly and buzzing while his chest feels warm and full.

The members of Jericho are frozen when he gives them all kisses to the cheek, and then all of them simultaneously slap a hand onto their cheek and stare at each other with pink faces. Daniel and Simon both duck their heads while Josh pulls his hood over his face and rugs on the drawstrings. North is suddenly more occupied with poking Markus’ red cheeks and teasing him as he shakes.

Hank tries to fight him off, but eventually relents, ruffling his hair bashfully. Conan and Collin both turn their heads as he approaches their cheeks, leading to him kissing both of them on the lips, though he just laughs good naturedly when they both nod at each other and go to opposite sides of the room, ears red.

Ralph and the Jerrys are surprisingly shy when Connor kisses them, but Ralph gives him a kiss on the cheek back, while the Jerrys all rub their necks and look away with silly grins.

Luther and Kara let Alice take their share of kisses, and she presses a kiss to Connor’s nose.

Rupert tries to escape Connor, but the brunette grabs his sleeve and gives him a kiss to the temple. Rupert immediately tries to flee the room, and Connor waves. Rupert hesitates before waving back and running away.

Connor goes to give Gavin a kiss, too, but the detective shoves a homemade cupcake in his mouth before he can. He still manages to give the guy a hug, though.

Kamski approaches, by Connor’s hug and kiss for him are stolen by Chloe, who had just snapped out of her shock at seeing Connor surrounded by a goddamn harem.

She growls at everyone in the room, sans Alice, Hank, Kara, and Luther.

Kamski is kinda concerned?? People don’t growl like that, wtf.

Also, he’s kinda upset that she’s keeping him from getting affection from his own creation but he’s not about to let his head get ripped off today

Chloe says that there’s too many people in the room, it’s getting late, and that Connor should get some more rest so that he can recover completely.

She tries to sound pleasant, but she really just sounds threatening af

Once she’s sufficiently scared the fuck out of everyone there and gotten them to leave, she puts her hands on Connor’s shoulders and tries to explain that nobody is allowed to touch him bc he’s too precious and, “nobody deserves you. This world doesn’t deserve you. The G-Man in the sky doesn’t even deserve you u pure boi.”

He doesn’t remember a word of this in the morning, but Chloe doesn’t know that.

He goes home in Hank’s car, Sumo already back from the vet and now laying across his lap, and finds out that Conan and Collin are at registration for their next year of college 

(lol idk if thats something u have to go do at college, im 15 and clueless)

- a while later, jeremy’s dad wants to do something for his son (and for himself, though he’ll tell you it was all to make jeremy happy), so he adopts a border collie puppy. he sort of acts like a therapy dog for the both of them. jeremy decided to name him ben after the lead singer of jukebox the ghost.

christine

- christine has a single mom! she tries to do her best to make her daughter happy and she goes to all her performances. her baby girl’s a star, she’ll tell you! they have a good relationship, but christine does feel a little alone while her mother is out trying to support the two of them. so her mom had an idea...

- christine has a pet bird! a peach-faced lovebird, to be exact. she named him fiyero. he loves to climb up on her shoulders and is constantly tossing little things off of tables. (just watch all of jaidenanimations’ videos with ari. that’s christine and fiyero.)

michael

- i’m SO happy that michael’s moms are canon now but i’m gonna apply some of my own hcs to this list. i think he has a filipino mom and an ecuadorian mom (not much of a surprise). he calls his filipino mother nanay since she grew up in a traditional family that mainly spoke tagalog.

- uhhh michael has a little sister and none of yall can change my mind. unlike michael, she was adopted. her name is amelia, but everyone calls her millie.

- michael has a little ferret that’s constantly climbing onto his shoulders. he named her yamaha! she’s white and has little grey speckles around her face. he constantly calls her long boy and it annoys millie because “shE’s a giRL, you idiot!”

rich

- he has a mom and a dad, but his mom is very much a provider for the family. she’s constantly at work and isn’t very much in rich’s life.

- rich’s older brother (mentioned in halloween) is in college and has really been rich’s best friend for all his life. they’ve grown up in the same shitty environment and have always been there to support each other.

brooke

- brooke has a pretty standard family. just a mom and dad that are pretty supportive of her. she’s closer to her dad and she always has been.

- she’s a total cat person! she grew up with a cat that her mom bought when brooke was little named olive. later on, she convinced her parents to get two more cats- a grey kitten with one eye named jupiter and a fat tabby cat named beverly.

chloe

- she has a relatively big family, and she isn’t too close to any of them. her mom is clingy, her dad is borderline distant, and she doesn’t really know how to relate to either of them.

- she has two older sisters, victoria and elissa. they’re both college-age and chloe is constantly being compared to them as they all went to middleborough and are known as “the most popular/hottest girls in school”.

jake

- we know that his parents aren’t exactly there for him and are concerned with money laundering and shit. but with the additions in bmcnyc, apparently jake used to go to sbarro’s with his parents all the time! i think they used to really care for their son when he was younger, but something got in the way later on.

- with that, i think that they got him a dog when he was about to go into middle school. i imagine jake watching airbud for the first time and saying to his parents, “that’s the one.” so yeah, he has an energetic little golden retriever.

- though his parents aren’t as present, i think there’s someone in his family that he sees as a third parent. maybe an aunt that hates seeing how their sibling is treating their kid.

jenna

- like jeremy, jenna has a single dad. but i think they were always super close to each other. (again, these are just my hc’s so...) when jenna came out as a lesbian to her dad, he was super supportive of her and is always asking her what girls she thinks are cute. it annoys her sometimes, but she’s glad she has his support.

- her mom, when she was around, had a massive fish tank put into the house and jenna was always a fan. she made a list of every fish in the tank and loved every single one. her dad decided to keep it around and always gets new fish bc of their short life spans. jenna still keeps a list of all of them.

tbh, I tend to flip from emotionless to SUPER emotional like 0-60. Sometimes no response, sometimes (like this afternoon) I see a beautiful pond surrounded in nature, being natural and beautiful, water sparkling in the sunshine and the tears just roll.

No kids atm, but a couple kiddos would be nice in the near future

Things that still bother me - my wife and I had a discussion about proposals and who would ask who. We landed on me asking her, which I did and am SO happy about, but the reason behind it being that I am so poor at expressing emotions that she was afraid it would affect her confidence in my response. 

For a first TMI moment of the blog, I have so much anxiety in my ability to express myself that I can’t even manage to make any “noise” during sex. Doesn’t even matter that I am my most comfortable self with her, STILL struggle. A work in progress for me I guess. 

Funniest moment throughout School?

There was a time when we were at a beach party when I was 17, the RCMP showed up to break it up and snag any and all intoxicated minors they could. The tide had recently come in, but where we were was a little dip in the side of the cliff so the path back to the road was water-covered. So someone peeks around the cliff to see the two Mounties wading through the water. This party crew are country-folk and are 100% ready for this situation with a wooden ladder that leads up the side of the cliff into a field close to where all the vehicles are parked. As party-goers are running through the field to cars, someone shouts, “PIT PARTY” and everyone heads towards the local Pit. Along the way someone with a truck steals a round bale from a field and uses it to create the BIGGEST bonfire I’ve ever seen.

How is your relationship with parents?

My Mom is one of my best friends in this world! My Dad is an odd case, he struggles with my sexuality, I understand that it is because of where and when he grew up, he is never outwardly rude or mean to me, he’s a quiet country guy, he was at our wedding, he gave me away with my Mom, he’s kind to Olivia, he’s kind to me, he doesn’t understand but recognizes that it is real. I love my Dad, I really do. I’m proud of my Mom for educating him and ensuring that he is present and polite. I get frustrated from time to time and I have cried a lot of tears about it. Our relationship can be strange but at the same time hasn’t changed. He’s been a great Dad and he’ll be a fantastic Grampy. I have to check myself because there are people who are much worse off than me. I get jealous of Olivia sometimes because her Dad is so sweet to her and treats me like a daughter so easily, but my Dad has never been the soft spoken lovey type. We’ve hugged twice in my life. One of them was when I was leaving for England with a one way ticket and no foreseeable return plans and one was when he was jokingly blocking my path and I used it as a disarming mechanism to scoot through.

Adrien catches sight of Marinette when he’s racing across the rooftops as Chat Noir. He grins, and can’t help lunging down into the nearest alley and leaving the transformation behind him. “Hey, Mari!”

Plagg dives into his pocket seconds before Marinette twists to see him.

She yelps, one hand flying to the purse she always carrying, the other holding her sketchbook up as if to hit him. “Adrien!”

Adrien holds up his hands as he laughs, slowing so that he can walk beside her. “Didn’t mean to startle you. I just - couldn’t resist.”

“How did you get out of the house? You don’t have a shoot, or anything scheduled,” Marinette asks.

That she always knows his schedule – better than he does – is amazing. But as Chat Noir, he’s seen the inside of her room. She’s had his schedule pin to the underside of her trapdoor for a long time. As Adrien, he's seen her room too, but it's been curiously devoid of the masses of photoshoots and the schedule in those moments.

Since they started dating, it's been like that all the time. Just a few pictures left, of the four of them. Some of the rest of her class. Her family.

“Can you keep a secret?” He slings an arm about her shoulders, pulling her close to him so he can whisper in her ear.

She giggles and blushes bright red, and he thinks he’ll never get used to that. He doesn’t think he wants to.

“Did you sneak out?” she asks, her voice a stage-whisper.

Adrien grins and kisses her temple, because he can’t help himself.

She blushes again, and it’s red on red because her last hadn’t quite faded out.

“And I saw you and I couldn’t resist – is it terrible that I want to keep you for myself?” He steps back, because it’s awkward to walk that close, but his hand slips down to hold hers and she wraps her fingers about his hand. Or as much she can, with hands that small.

“Away from Nino and Alya?” Marinette asks.

Adrien nods as they wander down towards the Eiffel Tower. “I know we’re all dating and we shouldn’t <i>really</i> be jealous, but…”

Marinette laughs and bumps her hip against him. Her purse sways with the movement, nudging at his side. “I’m sure they won’t mind.”

“You think?”

“Certain,” she replies. “What, you don't think they sneak off to be a couply couple on their own? They were dating each other before us.”

“Oh, of course." He knew this. It makes sense, after all; and if they want to be alone, then for sure there's no harm in him here with Mari without them.

Mari's blushing again; there's something she's not telling him.

"Spill, Mari. What's got you glowing?"

"Don't." Mari laughs and pushes him away.

"No, come on." He's laughing, because he knows what she's thinking about. After so long, he can read her like his favourite book. "Tell me why we all started dating again?"

Mari groans and hits at him ineffectually with her sketchbook. "You know why."

"Sure, sure. Tell me anyway." Adrien catches her sketchbook and takes it from her, using it to shield them from the sun. “I like hearing you say it.”

“You dork.” Marinette groans, but she doesn’t let go of his hand.

Adrien laughs. “I’m waiting!” he half-sings, a spring still bouncing in his step.

“Because we all love each other,” she answers, grinning. “And this way we don't crash anyone's dates. You know that. We say it often enough.”

“Yes, but you in particular…” Adrien draws it out, laughter in his eyes like the sun.

Mari laughs and pushes him away with a hand running through his already wind tousled hair. “Because I had a massive crush on you. Happy?”

“Always.” Adrien ducks away from her hand and presses another kiss to her forehead.

“You dork,” Mari mutters, affectionately.

“Your dork.” Adrien grins.

"My dork," Mari agrees, sounding very self-satisfied. Very much the cat that got the cream.

And Adrien loves the sound of it, loves it so much that he can't help the joyous burst of laughter that escapes him out into the glorious Paris sunshine.

"Alya's and Nino's too, of course," Mari is saying. "They have a part in your dorkishness as well."

"Not as big a part as you, though."

"Well... since they're not here..."

As they reach the steps of the trocadero, overlooking the way down towards the Eiffel Tower, Adrien has a sudden urge – a feeling of everything, all at once, that makes him want to – to sing and dance, and just – live and laugh and love with Mari at his side. Normally it's a patrol feeling, it's messing about with Ladybug, it's their puns and quips and games, but even so it bleeds over into his unmasked life more and more, whenever she was there and laughing at his side.

It's second nature, then, to sweep Mari up with all the strength that bounding about the rooftops of Paris has given him and spin her around, delight splitting a sparkling grin that could be seen from the sun on his face.

Mari squeaks and buries her face in his neck, and he feels her laughter in his very being and it's beautiful.

He stumbles and comes up against the wall, and without much of a break swings Mari up to sit on it, boosting himself to her side before she's settled.

People are staring, but they're always staring. He's Adrien Agreste and he's with the prettiest (unmasked) girl in Paris, why wouldn't they stare?

But it catches him, for all of an unwanted moment, and he remembers just how many pictures Mari had had up on her walls of his modelling. Yes, she was a designer herself – they could've just been for inspiration – but why only him? Why – she had the talent to go far, but...

"Adrien?" Her hand is soft against his, and she's gesturing for her sketchbook. "Can I have that, please?"

"Oh – yes, of course." Almost distantly, he hands it to her. Lost in the turmoil of voices he doesn't want to believe, but...

There are a lot of them. Chief is his father's who had disapproved from the start. Had believed the worst of Mari, never liked Nino, thought Alya was too nosey and antagonistic.

He tries to bury the voice, but-

"Is everything ok? You've gone quiet," Mari says, her sketchbook closed in her lap.

"Why was it just my modelling photos that you had all over your walls?" Adrien asks, before he can really stop himself.

"How – how do you know about that?" Mari stutters, her blush threatening to return.

Oh. Oops. "Alya told me?"

Mari scowls, and Adrien worries that he's dropped Alya in it. "I'm a... a big fan of your father's works. I was using them for inspiration."

"But just the ones that I wore?" He pushes, because if she's going to talk about it, then it must... it must be ok, right?

"Because of that massive crush I had on you, remember?" The words fall flat, like they're supposed to be joking but aren't.

"Oh, of – course." Adrien's voice is light, his smile pleasing – as well practised as ever even as his feelings crash.

All those photos because of her crush, or her crush because of all those photos?

"Adrien." Her voice calls him back from spiralling, and he wonders if she would be able to do that were he an akuma. Probably.

He tilts sideways to look at her, and meets her defiantly earnest gaze.

"I didn't have any of those pictures before I knew you. Before I knew how kind and understanding you are, and how patient when you don't have to be, and that day – your umbrella-" she cuts off. "You were never just a pretty face," she says carefully.

“Ah, so you admit I’m pretty-” The teasing comes naturally to him, a by-product of the time spent free to say what he will behind a mask, and never have it reflected back on him by his father.

Mari laughs and pushes him away.

He rocks back easily, bending with the movement and feeling her hand - pencil hooked between her fingers - warm against his chest.

"I never got it back, you know." And she had taken down all of the magazine pictures.

"I couldn't bring myself to return it." Mari shrugs, reaching a hand up to tuck some of his hair back behind his ear. "It's a reminder. To keep me grounded. Or – well, as grounded as I can be."

Adrien laughs, and his hand tightens on hers again. “Do you spend a lot of time flying about the city?”

Mari considers him for a moment, then laughs at him. “If tripping over it counts.”

“As long as I’m there to catch you,” Adrien says, with all the intensity of his youthful heart. “My-”

Marinette blinks at him, and there isn’t even the hint of a blush this time.

Adrien reconsiders. That might have been too much coming from his unmasked self (and too close, neither of them were - she wasn’t-). “Sorry, that just-”

“Why Adrien,” Marinette cuts across him, recovering with a bat of her eyelashes that almost looks to have been plucked from Chloe’s books, “Did you mistake me for Ladybug there?” Her tone is teasing, her playful smirk almost Chat Noir’s own.

Adrien blanks, is caught unawares, and now it’s his turn to blush. His cheeks have never been so warm, and he’s sure he could be used as a warning light for ships passing in the night, they feel that bright.

Marinette laughs, delighted. “It is possible! I knew I could get you to blush. Payback!” She crows, victorious.

This was - oh, she was almost too much, she was brilliant and perfect and maybe she wasn’t Ladybug (or maybe she was, whispered Adrien’s most heartfelt feelings, because she hadn’t negated that as such, but-) but she was here and he was hers and he could - with that, he could do anything, he’d run up the Eiffel Tower to yell it, just to make sure the world knew, and-

“Adrien?” Marinette winds her fingers through his, sounding concerned. “Are you alright? I’m sorry, I didn’t mean - Alya said you couldn’t but I wanted to see and I took the chance because I couldn’t resist and-”

“Marinette.” Adrien catches her hands as they start flying, thankful she’d left both pencil and sketchbook in her lap. “You have my permission to do that at any point you think is necessary.”

Marinette giggles, high pitched and relieved. “I don’t think I can do that again.”

Adrien presses a kiss to her palm. “And I meant it, you know. Whatever you do, wherever you go. I want to be there at your side.”

Mari smiles, soft and slow. “I’d like that,” she whispers, tilting her hand in his grasp to stroke down his cheek. “I’d like that very much.”

[1/2] I’m honestly super worried about Adrien right now, and a big chunk of it is coming from rewatching the new OP. Like, we’re all happy about the super gay rainbow theme (I know I am) but I’ve yet to see anyone point out how Chat Noir is on the far right next to his shit dad and another probable villain. Look at his color scheme too; he was always associated with GREEN and black up to now, never GRAY and black. And he’s the farthest away from his Lady. From his positioning and comparison...

[2/2] to the others’ vibrant colors, it gives the illusion that Hawkmoth is sucking the color out of him. Knowing the foreshadowing of this season (i.e. Chloe’s remark about saving Ladybug w/o needing a mask; she’s gonna become a superhero later) I just really need him to get some help somewhere down the line.

well, i don’t mean to totally shut down the theory because it is an interesting one, but i personally don’t think it’s that deep. look at the box full of the miraculouses 

firstly, he’s always had grey associated with him. the portion of the box his miraculous sits on has always been grey. he’s the black cat and he’s set within the yin and yang configuration with ladybug in the center of the box so that makes sense. secondly, the turtle miraculous is already green and can’t really be any other color but green. so you can’t make chat noir’s color scheme green because….then there’d be two green miraculouses. doesn’t make sense. gotta keep him grey. 

their color designations in the opening credits match their color designations in the miraculous box. and it’s put in rainbow order because…..well, it just looks nicer. and it makes sense to put that cool grey on the cooler end of the color spectrum (next to the blues and purples) than on the warmer end of the spectrum (next to the reds and oranges)

now sure maybe you can argue this is purposeful and they really thought that far ahead with the color schemes bc they wanted to allude to chat noir aligning himself with the villains, but i personally don’t buy into that. 

i can see where the theory comes in. hawkmoth is his father. hawkmoth seems to be trying to get his wife (adrien’s mother) back. it’s a scheme whose endgame at least partially benefits adrien. i could see how perhaps hawkmoth might try and get his son to side with him so that they can work together to get adrien’s mom back. but even if that’s something that hawkmoth presents to adrien, i doubt very much that he’d go along with it. 

the one thing that fu seems to favor in his miraculous heroes is that they’re self sacrificing. which makes sense, that’s a pretty important quality to have in a hero. both of marinette and adrien’s “tests” involved selflessness (marinette pulling fu out of moving traffic and adrien risking his father’s ire to help a stranger). now of course the two of them aren’t always self-sacrificing because, hey, they’re fourteen, they screw up, they’re allowed to be selfish every one in a while. but generally where it counts, they know when to sacrifice their time and their safety for the sake of others. what they’re doing is important. they know hawkmoth is evil. they know he needs to be stopped. they know nothing good can come from him gaining the miraculouses. 

i doubt very much that adrien would throw all of that away because he found out hawkmoth was his father. 

would he be upset? yes. would it be harder for him to fight hawkmoth directly? yes. will doing his job become harder? of course. is finding and defeating hawkmoth always going to make him feel a little bit of guilt? definitely, this is his dad. is he going to join hawkmoth’s side and fight alongside him? i don’t think so. 

even when ladybug told chat noir that she thought his father might be hawkmoth, chat noir didn’t say it was impossible, he did’t defend him, and he didn’t hesitate into jumping straight to ladybug’s side to fight the akuma hawkmoth created. he asked for proof. he wanted to know for sure. his hesitation that entire episode was never because he was struggling with what side to fight on. his hesitation that episode had to do with the fact that he was trying to accept the fact that his father might be evil. if anything, i think it’s more likely that chat noir would try and pull hawkmoth onto the good side in order to help him see reason. hawkmoth is clearly stricken with grief over his wife. perhaps he needs his son to pull him back and make him realize this isn’t the path towards finding her. 

adrien’s a good kid. he was so excited to be a superhero, he didn’t bother to ask questions before he put the suit on and got to work. he wants to help people and he wants to do a good job and, more than anything else, he’s in love with ladybug and admires ladybug down to his bones. i can’t think of a good reason for why he would suddenly abandon all of that in order to work with his father – abandon all that goodness, that love, that faith. that’s a touch too dark an outcome for a children’s show in my opinion. i don’t see ML veering in that direction. 

it’s a cool fandom theory! would love to read a good story that explores this! but i don’t think it’s possible in canon. so i wouldn’t worry.

...To compile the rambles I subjected Gale to & the ones I restrained myself from spamming so I can torment the void instead of poor sweet Gale

Basically: 

Mari’s a dog person

Adrien’s afraid of dogs

Kagami can be either dog or cat person, leaning more towards latter

If Félix is around he claims to dislike pets in general ( “Why would you willingly bring vermin into your home?” )

Mari ends up with a pissy street cat that has decided to adopt her. Mari pretends not to like having the cat around but secretly does

Chloe likes nontraditional pets that everyone things are weird

Dog ends up with one of the Rich Kids ™ because they’re the ones with yards / staff to take it on walks when they’re busy. Like Mari, the rich kids claim to be annoyed at having to deal with the dog and say they only keep it as a favor to Mari but secretly grow to love it

Alternatively, the dog is gotten when Mari finally gets her own apartment (shared dog-raising with pairing of choice) 

Pet Preferences

Marinette: 

THE dog person. Has wanted a dog since she was small. Has not been allowed to have a dog. Will jump a fence to chase after a dog and say hi to it. During night patrols she’ll swing down from the darkness and ask dog owners if she can pet their dogs. Has freaked a few civilians out. After all, no one expects a red-clad, polka dotted teenager to suddenly materialize in front of them, hanging upside down from a yoyo - especially not when said teenager is only supposed to show up to fight superpowered villains. She likes all dogs but loves big dogs. It’s mathematically preferable! You get more dog per dog if you have a big dog. She doesn’t count chihuahuas as dogs. And hairless dogs creep her out. Pugs are on thin ice - she’ll cuddle the ones that have been bred back into having healthy snouts. But she’d willingly die for a puppy of almost any breed. Dogs are admirable and will put others before themselves, though if you hurt them and push them far enough they’ll finally snap at you and good luck getting on their good side again. A dog that has judged you as Bad™ probably has a very good reason for doing so. In this way, stereotypical dog philosophy is very much like her own. Dogs are fun and always ready to go with the flow - given Mari’s impulsive tendencies (ADHD-ish behavior many times), active lifestyle (okay it’s more bc she’s a hectic mess but still), and love for the outdoors (it’s where she gets her best creative ideas), dogs are a match. Amongst the reasons she gives her parents while begging for a dog, she states that she loves cuddling big fluffs (Papas hugs were always her favorites and made her feel safe so her motto for cuddles is the bigger the better + her cat plushie is almost as big as her), she is definitely strong enough to handle a big dog (she carries bags of flour while helping out and probably those huge jugs of milk/cream AND we all know Sabine taught her how to kill defend herself), she has a strong enough personality to get a dog to listen (bc lbr when Mari gets down to business she is a force to be reckoned with), etc etc etc... Add to it that, although a badass, she’s pretty small and how can they not get her a big lovable dog? Right??? Alas, her mom has put down a very firm no. 

Mari instead gets her puppy love by nicely pestering strangers to let her say hi to their floofs. It’s one of the reasons she’s late to class so often, even when she doesn’t sleep in. Prior to being LB she had a slightly better sleep schedule but still got caught up petting dogs in the morning and thus got to class late. Worth it though. 

Local dog owners have started a LB tracking facebook to give a heads up because her random appearances have started to become a bit of a proble- wait, what,,,,, hey wait, no!, what the heck, where did you even come from,,,, there are no buildings to hang from over here, and this is private property,!,, wait no!,!!,,, that’s my dog bring it back!!!,

(She doesn’t actually steal any dogs. She’s very respectful and makes sure to ask if it’s okay to say hi before approaching. She’ll let the dogs sniff at her and then decide if they want to be friends or not. But the fb group’s there because she gets so excited and appears so suddenly that it does freak people out. After she realizes she’s scaring people she tries to get better about making herself known beforehand but with all her training to not be seen + the immediate impulse to snuggle cute puppies she sometimes forgets. )

Reporters have started bringing around dogs to try to get LB to stick around. It works... but she doesn’t answer questions because she’s too busy giving tummy rubs and kissies

Alya is constantly trying to walk dogs / dogsit in hopes of luring LB. Mari is more than happy to join in and help because that means free dog time. Alya is very frustrated that her stakeouts with Mari have never even once ended up with a Ladybug encounter. Mari considers humoring her but that would mean finding an excuse to leave the doggies and then change and then come back only to leave the doggies AGAIN so she could detransform and come back as herself. It was just too much time dog-less.

The people of Paris catch on to LB’s love of dogs and post pictures of their dogs with various “Thank you Ladybug!” posters like dog-shaming but altered to make LB happy. They’ll include things like “Avocado has been inspired by Ladybug to join the fight against Hawkmoth. He even managed to defeat a butterfly today! Granted, it was a regular non-magic one but you gotta start somewhere. #ThanksLB” and post them with a picture of the dumb dog in question 

Telling Chat Noir “I’m more of a dog person ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ” and chuckling as he gets defensive and grumbles about how much better cats are

Chat Noir being annoyed and a little jealous á la Augustus2.0 when LB is showering doggies with love and praise. She definitely heard him mutter bitterly that if the golden retriever puppy was soooooo great then maybe she should have it fight akumas with her and how he was the hero that riSkED HiS LifE for her so he deserved the love and praise

Chat Noir is nervous around big dogs and tries to pretend he isn’t to look cool for LB. He fails. His defense is that THE DOG WEIGHS AS MUCH AS HIM AND COULD FIT HIS HEAD IN ITS MOUTH! HE JUST DOESN’T LIKE BIG DEMON DOGS!! She just rolls her eyes; “Newfoundlands were known as nanny dogs because they’re so gentle and loving, Chat. They’re trained as lifeguards. You’re much more likely to be bit by a Chihuahua or Yorkie.”

“I’m sorry Chat, I’m not into you.” “Not yet ;))” “Mm. Well I plan on having at least one mastiff breed, one shepherd, and one water/snow working breed from the time I move out of my parents’ house until I’m dead. So I guess you’re gonna have to be okay with being around a sum total of 500lbs of dog.”  “...D: ”

Cats whom’s’t’ve’d? She doesn’t hate them... but she’s maybe closer to the dislike end of neutral with regards to them. She’s never been too fond of them because she thinks they’re snobby and they express love by bringing dead icky things. Dogs will just tackle you into a cuddle. She doesn’t like their sharp destructive little claws or tendencies to go after her fashion materials - someone save the yarn! Also the vicious little things end up hurting local wildlife and she much prefers animals that are altruistic like cute fluffy dogs (because paris has to protect the pigeons after all) ((Mr. Pigeon’s rants maayyy have gotten to her at some point)) Besides, even with a cuddly cat you’re still getting less cuddles per pet than you would’ve with a dog simply because dogs are bigger and theres more of them to cuddle. 

Hamsters are cute! ...But kinda boring. And they don’t seem durable enough for her. She’s a little clumsy and chaotic. What if it gets out and gets lost in her clutter and she falls and kills it?! Besides, with her tendency to spiral into the worst possible outcome she’ll worry herself into a panic. 

If she has a parrot screeching near her at the crack of dawn Paris is gonna have a new supervillain because she will be Out For Blood. And unlike Fuckmoth she’d actually be competent.

Reptiles are pretty much the same tier as hamsters and small furry herbivorous mammals for her... maybe slightly below because they’re not fluffy. Still cute though. 

Ferrets are too chaotic even for her. They are not forces she could control. 0-60 and back again in an instant. Besides, are they even legal in Paris? She loves watching videos of them though! 

After enough incidents, her mom has banned her from even mentioning fish in any context outside of dinner. Rip Sashimi, you were around for 13 days but it felt like a bond of 13 years. 

Adrien:

Sheltered all his life so never got to interact with dogs. As a result he’s kinda nervous around them. The big ones especially scare him because they’re big and carnivorous and biG. 

He wasn’t terribly fond of cats before but didn’t have as much of an issue with them because they’re smaller and tend to keep to themselves anyways. Smaller mouths means less space to clamp down with their pointy knife teeth, unlike dogs who have plenty of clamping space. Upon becoming CN likes cats a lot more.

Still though... if he had to pick a pet, it’d probably be a hamster! He can watch it and pet it and then put it back. He can even get a nanny cam to watch it. After all, what is love if not micromanaging every aspect of the subject’s life while keeping a distance and having only minimal interactions or contact? (someone pls hug this boy - after asking him if it’s okay). 

Reptiles are okay. You can also keep them in a glass cage and look and them and maybe poke them now and then. The best kind of relationship. (seriously someone show this child what healthy loving bonds are supposed to be)

Parrots... Well, they have feathers. So unless you want to keep an angry naked toddler with stubby arms and dagger feet screaming through a sharpened megaphone that’s gonna be a No.

Chloe: 

Who knows?

Idk I kinda like the idea of Chloe with a turtle or hermit crab or something. 

Or maybe a chameleon!

Something quiet and often overlooked. If you peak into the enclosure you wouldn’t even notice it unless someone pointed it out because it seems to blend in. It’s just... unremarkable.

And it doesn’t try to be.

Andre thinks she should have a fancy expensive french dog or special show-quality cat or an imported horse or something. In fact, he may even buy some of these for her because the princess of Paris should have only the best

But Chloe just likes her grouchy turtle/crab/lizard that will only come out to snatch some celery from her and then go back. In fact, if it’s someone other than Chloe giving the veggie (or whatever you give crabs?) treats then they better just leave it in a corner of the cage because the grouch will either refuse to come closer or there will be biting/pinching if it does. 

Kagami:

Animals are stinky and not meant to be kept in your home.

Dogs in particular are too big and messy. They will bring in dirt from the outside bc dogs HAVE to be taken out at least once per day. They’re slobbery and lick/drool on you. Their tails knock things over.

If they’re in your home they should be there as an exhibit (though with appropriate cage-space, nutrition, etc). This limits it to fish and maaayyybbee some small reptiles. But, again, there has to be appropriate cage-space and the like for the animals to be in humane conditions so restrictions apply. They may call her the Ice Queen but she’d never act so coldly as to subject an animal to a life of misery.

The only exception to her view on pets might be a cat. After all, they’re sleek and graceful and pretty independent. While they’ll come around for affection they won’t be as overtly desperate for it as dogs are. They’re also less needy - you can leave automated feeders, filter fountains for water, and self-cleaning litter boxes. Yes, a cat could be an acceptable companion if she were forced to have one.

Luka: 

He likes dogs. and cats. snakes are neat. turtles are chill too. parrots..... hmmm, it depends on the bird really. He wouldn’t like a bird that screams through his songs and doesn’t let him practice. But it’d be cool to have a pet companion that also appreciates melodies.

He hates rats/mice though. Little pests mess up boats. And guitars.  

*Félix: 

Claims to dislike animals. Appreciates them in pictures and acknowledges the importance of biodiversity but doesn’t like the idea of sharing a home with them. Might consider a snake or turtle because they have pleasing aesthetics, are easy to confine to an area, and don’t really smell. Although he likes looking at snakes he probably wouldnt go out of his way to get one. He just thinks they’re neat.

Will be around the “house-vermin” but only because it makes Mari happy. Actually kinda likes Mari’s pets/any fluffs he takes in at her behest and grows to care for them but he’d never admit it.

will go to anyone that calls him, even if it’s a group of teenage jerks that would bully him

his eagerness to approach people to be friends is confused for aggression sometimes

he would follow Menace but he’s no good at stealing food - he stops to try to get pets and then gets shooed and swatted

Loves everyone and wouldn’t hurt a fly! ... Unless you threaten Menace, kids, or the heroes of Paris (he seems to really like LB and CN and often winds up near akumas because that where his spotty friend and weird tail-human friend are!) ((CN is not happy with the four-legged fan))

Seems to bring good luck to those around him, either through some active intervention (biting the bad guy) or by passively existing (distraction on principle of awwww puppy)

He himself, however, seems to have fairly bad luck - a goofy nature and impulse to love leads to him getting stuck in places he shouldn’t be 

Yet, his feline friend is always there to save him by shoving him out of the way of angry taxis to pulling off the chicken wire tangled around him, so maybe he’s got some good luck to himself after all

Hobbies include stalking passerbys and asking for pets but being too musty to be interacted with

Wouldn’t go looking to fight anyone but would step up to help others if someone was being cruel to them... though given his scraggy stature from living on the streets he’d likely get beat up quite a bit during the altercation

Menace

Cat - ????cat? c??ca?? cat??t?tt?ct   (black fur; it’s fuzzy but honestly no one can seem to agree on whether it’s short or long. no one seems to think it’s medium though.)

Okay so like a month/month and a half ago I was bored at work and let my mind wander while cleaning (as I frequently do, my brain constantly jumps from thing to thing when I'm bored) and accidentally created an AU I've been obsessing over since. It started out as me wondering what would happen if Miraculous Ladybug was in the same universe as DC (specifically the "takes bits and pieces from different things because the actual comics usually have me screaming no because of the bullshit they do to my babies and anyway I like Teen Titans (2003) and Young Justice and the animated movies so I'm gonna amalgamate them a bit" verseI made with Mal that's constantly going in my head). But nothing really changed so I kept doing things and wound up combining two things that didn't need to be put together and made Marinette not exist in the verse and- That was when I realized I had a problem but really didn't care. Sooo since I'm not doing great today I decided I'm just making a long probably rambling post for this verse because maybe it'll make me feel better. -Chara and Mal came to earth when they were nine and got adopted by Bruceman almost instantly -Dickiebird is two years older than them but Chara will always claim "oldest" when coming up with plans and is questioned on who put her in charge and he really doesn't fight her on it because she's definitely the most responsible -Idk the actual age differences between everyone in the batfam so I'm making up my own -Ironically enough, when Mal and Chara first got into the heroing thing, Chara's chosen alias was Ladybug. Because she liked ladybugs -Mal and Chara spent their first four years on earth trying to find their father, then never actually went to see him once they did because they were both nervous -Plus Jason had just been taken in and they wanted to get to know their new little bro -Jay's a year younger than them -Another year after that, when Mal and Chara were thirteen, Chara almost died -Mal and Dickie had already decided to move to Jump for awhile and try being heros without The Bat, and Chara decided to let Ladybug die (since the villains already thought she was) for awhile so she could see what a normal life was like -She then sought out her father to actually meet him -Who lived in Paris with his wife -They own a bakery -You have to see where this is going -The girls' mother Miranda visited earth at one point (for science) and wound up "dating" (it was like a week lmao so I'm not sure it counts as dating) Tom Dupain while she was there -Then after she left she found out she was pregnant and he wound up meeting Sabine Cheng -Also Miranda seemed to have a thing for accidentally having half human kids after visiting earth -Because that had happened before with some other human -Except the father of those ones knew about it -So she kept one (Valerie) and let the father keep one on earth -And there we have Slade -Because I just like torturing my babies by having him related to them too damn much -Anyway -So Chara goes and surprises her dad with her existence -But he and Sabine are both more than happy to let her live with them -Chara had already thought of Bruceman as her dad (and Selina as a mom tbh) and now she has another mom and dad and it was great -Mal came by to meet them and it was great -I should write that tbh -French is one of the languages Chara hadn't picked up working in the batfam so she had to learn there -This leads to slip-ups and uncertain stuttering that Chloe makes fun of her for relentlessly -Chloe still a bitch -She manages to have a normal life for a full year!!! -Then mysteriously gets these earrings that turn her into a superhero themed like- get this- a ladybug -Oh the irony -I feel I've gotten more sarcastic as this post goes on -Also she gets her first crush on a sweet cinnamon roll model boy and made friends with a girl who really likes superheros -In case you couldn't tell that's Adrien and Alya -Chara can talk to Adrien better than Marinette can in the show -She still stammeres a lot but it's not nearly as bad and it's usually blamed on her not knowing the language confidently yet -She pretty quickly settles into her role as Ladybug again -She even likes Chat Noir's stupid puns -Not that she'd tell him while they're battling akumas -Then Jay dies -And she's sadder than normal but no one knows why exactly -Because she's pretty private about her life and family back in Gotham -Anyway over the next few years she becomes pretty good friends with Alya and Nino and Adrien while doing the hero thing with Chat -Because I have a soft spot for the MariChat branch, that is definitely a thing -Chat likes to see what "Purrrincess" is up to because she's less stuttery and more jokey for some reason when he's Chat instead of Adrien??? -The reason being Chara knows Chat won't make fun of her for her language slip-ups because he hadn't while she's LB -Either way Chat likes seeing her like that -And Chara comes to appreciate his jokes and just him in general -And she kinda gives up on Adrien because surely if it was meant to be it would be easier -And Chat's accepted LB doesn't want to be anything more than friends -So one day while they're hanging in Chara's room Chat kisses her -And then they're making out on her bed -And it becomes a thing -And a couple weeks later Chara shows up one day covered in hiccies -So does Adrien -Neither offers an explanation and Chara doesn't seem to be upset by seeing hiccies by the collar of his shirt so everyone assumes they hooked up, which is truer than Chara realizes -Chara winds up telling Alya it was actually Chat and holy hell Alya totally flips -"GIRL HOW THE HELL HAVE YOU WOUND UP WITH CHAT FREAKING NOIR!!!" -Chara shushes her and tells her it's not like that -Really they're just friends with benefits because surely Chat, who seemed to flirt with everyone (though if she payed attention, she'd see it was only her as Chara and LB) wouldn't want to actually DATE her -Jump to a few months later, LB and Chat finally defeated Hawkmoth -They agreed to not reveal Gabriel's identity, as long as he gave up the moth miraculous -LB was very reluctant to do this, which confused Chat -Chat, after finding out HM was Gabe and his reason for wanting the cat and ladybug miraculouses was to bring his mom back bc he's even worse with Emotions (tm) than Bats, wanted to give him a second chance, and was confused why LB (not knowing she was trained by Bats and lived in Gotham) is so reluctant to give a second chance -After they leave Chara decides to reveal herself to Chat because without HM as a problem anymore that shouldn't be an issue and really it's been nearly four years and she really REALLY likes him so -Chat is just stunned because shit his lady and his purrincess are one and the same and wait he kissed Ladybug and she actually was interested in him just not while they were fighting and fuck his father was the guy they've been up against for the last four years she DEFINITELY wouldn't be in him now -Chara sees the shock on his face and, because she's pretty confident in herself, assumes he wasn't as ready for a reveal and tells him not to tell him who he is yet, he clearly isn't ready -Chat just kisses her and detransforms anyway and Chara's the one who's shocked -Jump again to a few weeks later when Chara goes on a visit to Gotham as she does every few months -She's kept up well with the growing Batfamily and keeps a good relationship with all of them -She acts as a mother to all of them, including Dick -She's pretty protective of Timmy -Damian wouldn't admit it, but she's actually his favorite -She's not judgmental of the fact he grew up an assassin or telling him constantly to not kill people, and actually gives him tips on how to adapt (which she'd used herself after coming to earth), and she's not always around so he doesn't have to deal with constant hugs, only when she's visiting, so it's a manageable amount -Jay's the only one she hasn't kept up with, and that's only because no one told her he came back -So Chara comes for one of her visits and brings Adrien and Alya and Nino (who've been informed of their secret identities) -Almost immediately there's an attack at the coffee shop they stop in by a fairly weak villain -Probably Riddler or smthn -Chara Ladybugs up and kicks his ass within two minutes -Cue people cheering and being excited at seeing Ladybug again -AGAIN -Chara goes back to Chara and Alya just -"GIRL YOU GOT SOME 'SPLAININ' TO DO" -Chara hesitates then takes the distraction of noticing someone -That someone winds up being Jay -He'd heard what was going off then sprinted off when he saw it was taken care of -Chara chases -Confused af when she sees it's Jay -But also excited because her first little brother is ALIVE -And she's just chattering and hugging him -And then he starts bawling and she's not sure why -But she's rocking him and muttering soothing nonsense and petting his hair -And he's curled in her lap like a little kid and just sobbing and holding onto her and he's just so happy someone's loving him and caring about him -Once he calms down he tells her that he had come back and the whole story with that and how after he hadn't followed the no kill rule a few times and the rest of the family was weary at best towards him -Mal was nice enough to him at least but still it wasn't great -Chara just keeps holding him and rocking him and assuring him that he's still part of the family and more importantly he's still her little brother and she'll always be his big sister -She reminds him how before she moved to Paris she promised she'd be there for him whenever he needed and says that still applies -The others finally find where she'd went and she tells them everything -Bruceman might be mad but shhhh he can deal she trusts them with her life -They finally make it to Wayne Manor and they all get along pretty damn well -Even Jay -I should write that too -Aaaand that's all for now

Episode #3: “New Tribe New Tribulations.” - Ben

That joint tribal went almost perfectly besides the fact that a dean voted for me for whatever freakkkkiing reason, but I really came out of that tribal with close allys in Johnney and Chloe from the other tribes so I really think that is dope I would type more but I’m shot

Omg omg omg I just went to like my first ever live tribal and it was soooo exciting omg omg omg. I really loved having the chance to sort of better connect with these people and have a moment with them that you wouldn't otherwise have really. And, I survived so that's a massive plus as well!! Eek I'm just so excited right now to be playing this season and everyone on the other tribes seem so active and happy and I'm really looking forward to getting to know them more throughout the season. It sucks I had to lose Dean but we all have to make sacrifices somewhere.

Just got on new tribes and I’m pleased. I think I should be able to make some strong connections here. Elmo’s on my tribe and that really helps. Also talking to Joey and he seems pretty cool. Hopefully we do a good enough job on whatever song we choose so none of us have to go home. Hopefully Johnny, Justin, and Taylor are alright. I still kinda don’t know what I’m doing or where I am. Didn’t realize until half way through the last round that all 3 tribes were at the combined tribal. I thought there were 10 of us and that it could be a split vote. True flop? Yes. Maybe I’ll decide to get it together.

After a really crazy tribal council, we swapped and to be honest I don’t feel as bad about this as I probably should. I feel like during the joint tribal I bonded well enough with Chloe, Thomas and Taylor where I think that if we go to a tribal I have enough bonds started that will keep me safe at least for another round and on top of that we also got Cullen on our tribe which is honestly the best case scenario because that could honestly be a free round!

Well I knew I was going to be talking about the swap eventually. Cullan just got evacuated which is sad and I hope he is doing okay. I'm glad I swapped with Chloe and I feel Adam and Taylor are staring to see me and Chloe as a duo, which can be either good or bad. Randy I need to talk to more. Taylor and Adam both said they would be a number to me and Chloe if we need them, but I hope to hold that off for a little while.I just want to win this next challenge and avoid tribal :)

WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE FUCK DOES THOMAS THINK HE IS DOING RIGHT NOW?   Taylor has messaged me saying last night they spoke to Thomas about maybe us 3 working together and that Taylor thought maybe Thomas should message me first about it. But here I am with Taylor messaging me about it and no word at all from Thomas. I've given Thomas a chance to bring it up, I've been sat talking to him about how he's now finished school so he has more time to play orgs. This could so easily lead into a conversation about how Taylor messaged him. But instead he's just said "Im gonna go get a slurpee" well while you're out go find someone else to work with you because you're gonna need all the help you can get because I'm fucking coming for your bitchass now and I'm not gonna stop until it's red raw from taking all these hits from me.

New Tribe New Tribulations. I stayed with Elmo which is good, and I have been chatting up the rest of the tribe. Jared seems nice and I've floated the idea of working with him at a potential tribal. I've talked less with Lily, but she seems nice. People I've talked the least with are Ian and Joey. Joey never responded to my messages, and Ian I just don't talk to lol. I'm pretty confident ian would stick with me and elmo and I think we could successfully target Joey, especially if we hold the milo 3 over their heads and threatened rocks.

So, my premonition was most indeed correct. We ended up swapping from 4 tribes to 3 tribes. Not that that’s a totally bad thing. I mean, looking at OG tribes on Haumea 2.0, I’m in a 3-2-1 majority. And we had a music video challenge. My tribe lip synced to I Write Sins Not Tragedies. The question is, will we be pouring the champagne in victory? Or will the goddamn door be closed on one of us at tribal council?

whew. sorry i haven’t made a confessional yet i’ve been busy. but now i feel like i’m gonna leave out important info so let’s hope i don’t. we swapped tribes and that was... a bummer. i had my 3 person alliance over on my other tribe and i had elmo! i miss elmo so much and just hope we meet again soon. i don’t really loooove my new tribe.. i like justin of course and i think i’ve been hitting it off with johnny. and strayed talking to anbel a bit. tried to talk to bodhi and asya but nothing really clicked. here’s something interesting.. justin told me he went idol searching and he looked where i looked round one and where i found the idol. he told me that a power was there but it’s now gone and he told me that johnny told him he looked there but said he just drowned in the vortex and didn’t say anything about a power being there. so i think johnny just messed up his words but now justin thinks johnny has a power and i’m just letting him think that and throwing scenarios out there and i can let johnny take the blame hehe. i also went idol aka advantage searching somewhere and i got somewhere asking if i’d be willing to give up 2 votes. i thought about how during the joint tribal a vote was missing so i assumed whatever power is there, somebody has it. so i said nope bye i want my votes! i told justin about this so i can kinda pin asya having this power since she was at the joint tribal and she’s on my tribe now so it could be a good excuse to vote her off if we ever go to tribal and i can be safe another round.

so now justin thinks johnny has the idol or some kind of power even though it’s really me who has it. and thinks asya has whatever power she got for giving up 2 votes. idek if asya is the one who got that power but i needed someone to pin it out so we have an excuse to vote her out and i can stay safe.

i also wanna apologize for whatever spelling mistakes i make and if i literally don’t make any sense at all. it’s so hard to type up exactly what i’m feeling and put it into words kdkdkdkd.

so we swapped which is great! the initial numbers are 3-2-1 and im in the 3 so that's great! however ian isnt the most socially active player so i think he could easily be the target of the 2 and the 1 and i dont think either ben or myself would want to pull a rock for him right now

i think i will hint him to get close to like lily or someone so in case we ended up losing a challenge she'd want to target joey instead of him. thats the goal. i dont want to lose ian bc basically if lily sides with joey in that situation, jared will be the decider and while i do trust jared, i think it gives him too much power yanno and it might be enticing for him to stick to his OG tribe ally rather than two ppl he met at the swap

It made it easier to socialize when the swap actually did happen. Tom seems like a cool cat, and I had approached him with the idea of him, Chloe and I grouping up. Chloe seemed more than okay with it, but Tom never talked to Chloe about it like he said he would. That raised some red flags for me and Chloe. Adam and Randy I didn't feel as comfortable to begin with, but in the past day or two Adam has really came around and proposed we work together. Thus CAT was born. It's maybe not something long term but I think I could have great allies in Chloe and Adam individually. Tonight's vote is probably the most uncomfortable yet. Nothing feels solid, everything feels very much in the air, even if I have a majority alliance. This game is a rollercoaster and tonight I'm teetering on the edge and I have that sinking feeling in my gut. All I can do is put blind faith in my people and hope for the best.

This confessional is for the Third cycle where the end result was 4-1 (Randy, Tom) Loosing this challenge as honestly a rally hard pill to swallow I was absolutely pissed if we’re being honest, pissed at the fact that the final product was my video that as supposed to get snipped and trimmed because I didn’t know legit anything about that song or even lii syncing. I think me competing and being the one that submitted helped me when it was time to vote somebody out because I was told by basically everyone that sending me home would have been a silly decision. I honestly think my only option was too got out Randy because I think I’m solid with everybody else individually where I was trying to force something with Randy. If we lose again things will honestly go from 0 to 100 real fast as I don’t think anybody knows if Tom and Chloe are actually tight or what the deal is there but that will one hunger percent come in to place. All in all very successful round for me in my opinion. I think I need to be careful not to build this huge target on my back but I’m staying focused and just plowing through

I’m doing wonderful! As far as this game is concerned, Jared and I are tighter than Ralphie May’s(RIP) pants. We know what each other is doing, and we communicate CONSTANTLY. Ian is tricky to get. He just says “Oh, okay” to everything, its as if he’s building up a wall to prevent me from having a social game, it’s highkey INFURIATING. I LOVE LILY, she’s an actual angel, and she’s a good player. I like Elmo alot, he’s definitely at a disadvantage due to his timezone. As far as everyone else, I’m getting closer to Asya as we’ve put our “beef” aside and we realized we’re friendly. Johnny and I have known each other for 3 years, he was the first person I knew in this community, he was the first person who hosted me and got me into this community, he’s going to always be like a brother to me.
