thinking about this because i made the mistake of looking at Tumblr replies so pardon the half vent but how do people get in this mindset of "this song isn't good enough for someone to call themselves a musician, they're not a REAL musician" lmfao. like sorry but that teenager or 20-something who just released a TikTok song you don't like is still a musician. like by definition. there is no threshold to be a "real" musician, you spork. everyone has to start somewhere.
same with any form of art actually (that is made without AI). whether you like it or not, whether it's good or bad, someone crafted that shit. they are a "real" writer, they are a "real" artist, they are a "real" crocheter, knitter, sew...er, whatever form of art you're doing, if you're doing it, congratulations, you're now an artist, whether other people like it or not. full stop lmfao.
in the hour or so it took me to draw this op turned reblogs off
EDIT: reblogs are STAYING OFF. op was right and correct and i have never regretted making a post as much as this one. if you want to reblog my art you can reblog something else from my blog. or commission me, lord knows i deserve financial compensation for the nightmare this post has put me through

my favorite work memory from this store will always be “hey remember when the subway inside the store closed down and they let me take a bunch of their shit for free and now it lives inside my house?”
like idk maybe this is just me but i'd genuinely rather throw my loose change into something that could possibly be but is very unlikely to be a scam and just be like "oh well" if it does actually turn out to be a scam than try to denounce every single palaestinian that just wants to live in safety. tripling down on that behaviour is just fucking embarrassing. "it's not racist to be skeptical of donations asks" that's true but saying that a group of brown people are all hustlers running a mass scam ring is undoubtedly extremely racist you fucking clowns.

emergency sleepover time in the mountains after local small town emo and skater boy played too much solarion chronicles and lost track of time
My sister volunteers at the local animal shelter, which recently rescued an astounding fifty-one guinea pigs from a hoarder. Obviously, they're pretty overwhelmed with this, so my sister agreed to foster two of them. Now this animal shelter has a practice of giving its animals seemingly random names, like words they just pulled out of a hat or perhaps a box of magnet poetry. This particular batch of guinea pigs they decided to name after office supplies, and the result of all this is that we are now fostering two guinea pigs named Business Card and Filing Cabinet.
I see so many people starting to use Threads as a way to escape Twitter and yes, it's owned by Facebook's CEO and giving Facebook the monopoly of social media is bad but I think we should also talk about the fact that, you know, Threads isn't avalibe in the EU for privacy reasons????? That should be concerning to EVERYONE
some people have asked about making zines, and i've seen a lot of people in the tags talk about wanting to make some but don't know how... so here is a zine (technically two) about making zines! wowza! pardon the handwriting lol
there are other methods of making zines that require a stapler or sewing, but this one-page zine is the simplest form of it.
i hope this makes sense, feel free to ask if anything is unclear :]
