You know who would make a great duo? Dame Aylin and Wyll. I don't know why this isn't really present in the fandom or why I havent thought of it before, but something about these two characters feels like they would click and greatly enjoy each other's company.

You've got this great and powerful paladin, who's sole purpose is battling the dark forces of her wicked auntie, and this young man who has forever pledged himself to helping others. On that alone, I feel like aylin and wyll would connect greatly. I think that Aylin has that same self sacrificial attitude wyll has. Her relationship with isobel is probably the one time she has truly allowed herself to have something. I don't know if Aylin's devotion to the cause is due to Selune telling her that's all she's worth or a bit more self-inflicted. And there could be some similarities in the parenting of Ulder Ravenguard and Selune. Two people who managed to raise remarkable people but fucked up their self worth along the way.

I would also imagine that Dame Aylin and Wyll would have incredible stories to exchange about their heroic deeds and try to outdo the other. I think it ends up being a tie tho. As powerful as Aylin is, Wyll has the indomitable human spirit on his side and despite all that he's been through, he remains a hero and a good man no matter what.

This is some mega rambles but my goodness, I cannot help but feel like aylin and wyll would be great friends.

Then Aylin helps Wyll collect Mizora's head. The fact that she escapes the game without getting her comeuppance will forever not annoy me. If everyone else can stick it to their abusers then Wyll should get the chance as well.

Okay BG3 spoilers but like

Yes I am a Mindflayer romantic. Yes I got my mind totally blown. But like. Oh my god. Wyll!! Why don’t more people like Wyll??? I was just doing my thing, then we camp one night and he asks me to dance with him. At that point, Wyll and my character were just friends. Actually, I started off as a completely immoral bard that enjoyed chaos. I banged Astarion. He approved while we did evil shit. It was fun! I wasn’t even the Dark Urge. But every time I would take Wyll along, it was as if he was trying to steer my character toward redemption. He wasn’t like Astarion. He actively objected to fucked up shit. He was so kind. But anyways, up until this point, we were just friends. Wyll was a good influence on my character and my bard had really “chilled out” since Act One because of Wyll. He offers to dance, and I think it’s just a friendly, platonic fun thing so I agree!

Then… it starts to become something more. Wyll is so polite. He doesn’t rush things, he doesn’t push. He wants to be with my Bard. At first I turn him down because I was still enjoying my chaotic Bard ways. But he was so dejected! His reaction literally broke my heart. He lets you go, he doesn’t keep trying, and he doesn’t attempt to convince you or anything. He’s disappointed but he doesn’t push. He respects your choice and doesn’t bring it up again. Well… I decided, you know what?? He’s so damn sweet and compassionate. I reloaded. And now my Bard has gone from evil to neutral to… decidedly good during act 3. All thanks to Wyll.

And now… I’m wondering if I’ll even be able to make it through a Dark Urge playthrough.

i don't play baldur's gate 3 either cause no console or pc for it :( but GOD i love astarion so much I have watched many many scenes on youtube of this man and i am so down bad for him. it's embarrassing
