So apparently most people don’t get only four hours of sleep average. Who knew?

Based on real conversation I had with myself lol. Literally my roommates suggested and medical professionals told me I had insomnia, and I was like “naw, I can sleep sometimes, surely that’s normal!” until I was drawing at 2:00am and it finally sunk in while I was listening to a podcast about it.

Must be nice to be a turtle living rent free in the sewers, able to take 2pm naps whenever and stay up till dawn. I love walking around when it’s dark, but it’s harder to do that in a city rather than on a farm! In the night you can see everything awash in silver from the moon, and the shadows are rich in color, the stars a direct parallel to the fireflies sparkling in the trees. The mist over the early morning fields is also so pretty, especially when the spiderwebs in the grass catch the dew :)

The city holds its own beauty at night. The hushed wind of a lone car as it passes by to places unknown, the shimmer of streetlights on cool pavement, the warm lights of distant windows reminding me that every inch of this place is full of life and people living their own stories.

Miles worrying because Hobie sometimes disappears with no contact from time to time so Miles gets in contact with Karl to see if Hobie is alright and that he's not in immediate danger but Karl's just like

"Nah, he's just sleeping"

And Miles is just like "Well how long has he been sleeping"

And Karl just says "Since two days ago" like that shit is just normal

And that's when Miles finds out that Hobie doesn't have a sleep schedule, he just has a "big sleep" where he forces his body to stay up for as long as it can, sometimes for weeks occasionally, before it simply just collapses from exhaustion, occasionally only waking up for a few minutes to eat, use the bathroom and drink something before passing back out for sometimes three days straight.

Miles is mortified because its definitely not healthy and if it wasn't for his spider powers, it would have probably killed him long ago.

So Miles takes things into his own hands. Sometimes, he'll bribe Ganke to go stay with some other friends for the night or on weekends when Ganke goes home for the weekend Miles stays and makes up an excuse to his parents and let's Hobie stay over in his dorm, or, when both of his parents are working late shifts, he'll sneak Hobie into his room to make sure he gets at least 8 hours of sleep

It doesn't even have to be from night till morning, he doesn't care if Hobie's even sleeping from 7am to 2pm in his dimension, he just wants Hobie to get decent amounts of sleep and not fall into three day comas.

But after Chifuyu got used to you being there he sometimes wanted to hang out with you, and he meant no offense to Takamichi, but he just wanted to get to know you more. After maybe a couple months Chifuyu did get to know you and surprisingly you guys had a lot in common plus you had both developed feeling but Chifuyu knew that it wasn't right to like your best friends sister so one day he finally got to talk to Takamichi about it and found out he was fine with as long as he never hurt you which he would never do then sure he saw no problem with it after that Chifuyu finally asked you out on a date to a cafe he found and of course you said yes.

Baji: The first time you and Baji had met he actually knew about your existence he just never got to say hi until he was in the kitchen looking for something to eat at the Matsuno household when you had suddenly walked into the kitchen with a headset on and a controller in one hand he genuinely thought you were the prettiest girl he had ever seen, you guys said hi to each other and stuff but that's it he wanted to know more about you like what video games you liked and what kind of movies you like to watch you know sappy stuff that the great Baji Keisuke would not think about anyone but he did for you and you only. 

After about a year of occasional conversations and little smiles at each other when you would come out of your room to grab a snack you guys both caught feelings Baji new that Chifuyu trusted him but would he trust him with you, would he really be ok with his best friend dating his sister Baji didn’t know so he asked and surprisingly he said it was ok as long as he treated you right and never hurt you then go ahead just no kissing in front of him because he does NOT want to see his best friend smack lips with his big sister. After about a week Baji finally asked you out on a date to the arcade, he was over the moon when you had said yes.

Mitsuya: you guys met at a coffee shop you worked at, of course he didn't know you were Hakkai sister until he met you again a Haikais house when you had come out of your room after sleeping till 2pm you guys said hi and made small talk then you went back to your room after that Mitsuya started coming to your work to order at least one cup of coffee he didn't even want it half the time he just wanted an excuse to see you and get to know you. He was quick to admit he liked you to himself but it was so much harder to tell you he actually liked you he asked Haikai and of course he said yes he trust Mitsuya more than anyone in his life so of course he's the one he would trust to date and take care of his sister. When he finally asked you out he was ecstatic when you had said yes.

Hanma: you guys met when Hanma was over going ok plans for the gang when you walked in and kicked Tetta and walked off to your room he laughed at you antic and went back to what he was doing when he went to leave he saw you walk down the stairs you guys looked at each other then you decided to just walk past him and out the front door he followed behind you to go to his bike just when he saw you drive away on yours he immediately admitted that he was interested in you so when he found out were you worked he was so happy. When he needed a new part for his bike, he got to see you and talk to you. You both fell fast for each other, Tetta saw the behavior and didn't really care as long as Hanma never hurt you, he was fine with it and you knew this, so guys just continued dating without letting Tetta know. Kisaki HATES it when he walks in your room to ask you a question and catches you guys making out, you and Hanma think it's funny as fuck

Nighttime Washing

The warm blankets were wrapped around Logan as his eyes fluttered open, he felt cozy. For the first time in a long time he felt good. The blankets provided a sense of security he hadn’t felt since god knows when. He felt small, his hands reaching for the singular stuffed bear he kept in close proximity. While he shuffled around on the nest-like bed he had curled himself up in the blankets moved and shuffled around with him. Wet. He felt wet.

Logan’s hand froze, hovering over his Care Bear plushie and breathing came to a steady halt for a brief moment. Don’t cry. Do not cry. That’s all he could think, his brain was small and fuzzy. He wasn’t quite sure what to do, all he knew is he was wet and he’d not find that in awhile.

After a moment of contemplating his next move, Logan lifted himself from the sheets and tried his best to avoid the wet patch on his pyjama shorts and bedsheets. He turned on the light, cringing at the sudden brightness of the room and screwing his eyes shut for a brief moment. Once adjusted, the corners of the sheets were lifted and pyjamas changed, he’d balled them up and gave his Birthday Bear a quick squeeze and kiss before placing him on the bedside table.

Small wobbly steps lead Logan to the kitchen, he was still getting used to the layout of the place, the dim lighting from the sun rise allowed him to find the beat up washing machine. He scrambled to find the washing powder, hands shaking and tears burning his waterline. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up at each small movement, he tried to keep his breathing small and quiet. Each movement as carefully calculated as it could be for someone in his mindset.

The door to the machine opened and his shaky hands began to pile in the blankets and sheets. He had gotten away with it, holding the little measuring cup of fabric softener, deep breath Logan. Deep breath. It was all okay, he’d just wash the sheets and put them back on his bed and bang he could sleep till 2pm again and ignore the fuzzy feeling in his brain. That was until the light flickered on, the shock causing him the drop the cup of liquid. Logan fell, hiding behind the counter. He hadn’t even seen who had woken up. He had been so careful!

“Heya Peanut,” came a familiar and friendly voice, Logan’s shoulders fell. He relaxed slightly, still not peeking over from the counter. “Whatcha doin’ up? It’s like 6am.” Wade asked, slowly sauntering round the counter in his hello kitty pyjamas. What he was met with was the sight of a very distressed little honey badger cuddled up against the cupboards behind him, the washing machine door half closed with his sheets hanging out of it. “Couldn’t wait till you woke up huh?” He asked teasingly before hearing Logan’s small snarl, “Alright. Alright I’ll stop the teasing.” Wade hums, his hands up by his sides.

“Fuck off.” Logan hissed, looking between Wade and the washing machine. His heart was pounding in his chest, why wouldn’t Wade leave? Why was he still talking? Logan couldn’t make sense of it, his eyes drawn to wade’s pink pyjama pants and the white cat face on them. His pupil’s widened as he stared at the Hello Kitty icon. “Something caught your attention kitty?” Wade laughed, looking between him and his pyjamas. Logan’s voice came out small and choked, almost like he didn’t want to be speaking. “Kitty.” he mumble, shakily pointing at the cat.

“God you’re weird,” Wade snorts, ruffling the other man’s hair and turning his attention back to the washing machine. He crouched down and ran his hands over his face, mumbling to himself. “Alright, what’re we dealing with here peanut?” He mumble, pulling out the blankets upon blankets. A panic came over Logan as he pulled out the wet shorts and sheet. Wade’s attention was caught, turning to face his friend. He cleared his throat, “you got something…you wanna share with the class Wolvie?” He asked, attention clearly divided between the two.

No words came out Logan’s mouth. Just a soft blubber, then a small cry. He tried his damn best to wipe away the tears immediately as they fell. “Oh, oh hey, oh hey c’mere.” Wade says softly, immediately dropping any previous hint of malice or teasing in his tone. His arms opened for him as he dropped the wet items. Despite his usual behaviour Logan was immediately in Wade’s arms. He kept a strong grip on the other man as he blubbered and wailed into his friends shoulder. “Didn’ mean to” he whimpered, eyes darting towards the sheets on the floor.

Wade’s hands found Logan’s hair, gently petting it as he soothed the sobbing man. “Oh honey badger. You’re alright,” he whispered. “I’m not gonna tell anyone about your little issue” Wade promises, pulling Logan’s face out from his shoulder to face him. All Logan could do was nod, sobbing still. “Bear,” Logan whispered, pawing at Wade’s chest. “Bear. Bear.” He repeats, wiping his eyes and looking around. Wade’s confusion only increased. Bear? What bear? Logan shot up, clambering through the apartment.

Shrugging it off, Wade began to load the laundry again. Sheets, shorts and blankets were put into the machine. The spill of fabric softened cleaned and a new cup placed into its space in the machine. Wade fiddled with the button’s momentarily before the fabric began to spin around. Success! Once Wade had brought himself up to standing again he spotted Logan staring blankly at him from the living room. An oversized shirt on and boxer shorts, his hair messy and a stuffed Birthday Bear in his arms. Bear.

“You found your bear?” Wade muses, wandering towards Logan. His friend nodded, looking down at the bear then at Wade again. He moved it forward a little so Wade could see him. “‘S Birthday Bear.” Logan mutters, listening to the spinning of the machine as he plonked himself down onto the couch. “You wanna tell me what’s gotten into you tonight peanut?” Wade asked, watching Logan poke the plastic eyes and nose on the bear. “Little.” Logan admitted begrudgingly. “Little huh?” Wade asked, sitting by him. “You look pretty big to me.” he laughs slightly. A soft scowl from his little friend shut Wade right up. “Not like that. Dumbass. Brain’s all…fuzzy” Logan mutters, leaning back onto the couch behind him and looking over at Wade. His eyes drawn to the hello kitty pattern again. “I gotcha little guy,” Wade reassures him, gently stroking the stuffed bear, “but I don’t recall little ones using such foul language.”

The two sat, Logan flipping the tv on to watch some Garfield as the sheets span, Logan spitting off some fun facts about wolverines, Care Bears and kitties until he went silent. His head on Wade’s shoulder and knees to his chest while he softly purred, even though he’d deny it in the morning, “How am I gonna get him back to bed..”

Dabi:

Dabi isn’t an early riser, more so forced to do so because of Shigaraki's tantrums. He absolutely hates waking up, but has to; meaning leaving you in a cold room, coming back with some takeout that may or may not be healthy.

Don’t get me wrong, Dabi absolutely loves to sleep in with you, something about waking up with his giant arms surrounding your body and the soft snores of his beloved gives nothing but butterflies in his stomach; calming his anger and hidden anxiety that he didn’t even know he had.

Buuut… that doesn’t mean he gets up on his rare days off to make you two nice, eatable breakfasts. Though, that doesn’t mean he can be an asshole waking you up at times.

At first, he’ll shak you awake, placing butterfly kisses on your face and shoulders before whispering with his deep voice: “Come’ on doll, get up. I made you your favorite.”

you decide to groan and roll over, pulling up the covers to ignore the now-blinding sun; he’ll think it’s cute at first, smiling: “I know.. Come’ on doll, get up.”

But the more you whine, the more he gets annoyed.

Finally, he’ll get more stern; ripping the covers off of you, climbing over you to rest on your stomach. “Come on, get up. I know you’re tired but your food will get cold, and no; I’m not re-heating it.”

Rarely, will he give in and let you sleep, but he likes to spend time with you when he’s not ‘working’. Though, if you do use the ‘puppy face’ and beg him to sleep him with you, he'll give in and come back to bed; laying on top of you with his head on you're chest.

Keigo Takami / Hawks:

As he’s a Pro-Hero, he’s forced to wake up pretty early and function till around 10 pm or later. Usually, when he leaves, he always pecks your face with a few kisses, maybe blowing on your face lightly to wake you up so you can eat something.

Sometimes, he will fly over to the shared apartment to hang out with you, either on his lunch break or on his rare few minutes off; if Keigo still sees you asleep… he’s the devil waking you up.

Much like above, if you decide to whine and refuse to get up; he’ll let it slide one or two times, trying to wake you up again in 5 minutes or so. If you don’t, he will blow raspberries on your belly; tickling you while whining: “You’re killing me, [Name!!!]”

If you don’t wake up, he will huff and puff while saying “Fine!” and storm into the kitchen, ordering your favorite takeout; once it’s at the house, he will take it out, go into the room and eat near you, making loud “Mm!! So good. Such a shame I don’t have a hot [Name] near me to satisfy my other needs!” — “It would be a shame if I ate it all and couldn’t share any with my darling.”

In other words, he’s baiting you to get out of bed.

Either way, he’ll annoy you awake: slightly biting your thighs, stomach and shoulders, blowing raspberries and tickling you awake. Or, he’ll whine away about how ‘he’s dying’ and ‘you need to save me’.

On rare occasions, if he does have a day off; he will let you sleep in, yes, even into the afternoon. But, 2pm is the max.

Though, if you are just too cute and refuse to get out; he will crawl back into bed with you, cover you with his wings and fall back asleep with you, maybe asking if you two can do... special work-out sessions after you two wake up.

Katsuki Bakugou / Dynamite

Much like Keigo, he also needs to get up early.

Normally, Katsuki gets up around 5am to train about an hour or more before heading to work. Rarely, does he ever wake you up, unless it's urgent. He understands that it’s pretty early in the morning and you despise getting your beauty sleep disturbed.

But, when he does have his rare day off; he likes to train, take a shower when he comes home then make you two breakfast. Usually, Katsuki will (try) to wake you up around 9am, with a nice, hot plate of home cooked breakfast and do the usual scheduled thing you two do: cuddle on the bed while watching some drama TV show.

He will wake you up much like Dabi, sure, he’ll be a bit more rougher; but still nice enough to let you wake up naturally and not have a heart attack when you see his red eyes.

“Wake up, [Name]. Made your favorite.” – “Come on. Not in the mood to play games, you’re acting like a child.”

Either if you whine and throw a pillow at him or mumble a ‘no’ and turn around to face the other way; be ready to have the covers ripped off of you, his warm hands grabbing your ankles and dragging you off the bed.

Katsuki doesn’t like wasting food, so if you decide to not want to get up, he’ll be a bit snarkier than normal and force you to get up; whether that’s shaking your shoulders, pulling the covers off of you or kissing your neck to the point it’s uncomfortable, he will make you get up.

Now, if you decide to use the famous ‘puppy face’ and try to convince him to sleep in a bit more; he’ll try to resist your pretty face but sooner or later, he’ll give in and let you sleep in for 10 minutes. Which turns out to be 30 minutes because he ended up joining you.
