Ngl I think Maya admires Miles a lot more than people realize. Or maybe just a lot more than people care to talk about. I say this because, regardless of being all into the rivals idea between Phoenix and Miles in the first game, in the third she straight up says “everyone knows the best prosecutor in Japanafornia is Miles Edgeworth.” And I vaguely remember her saying positive things in the second game though I can’t remember.

Which makes it so confusing when people write her to berate and insult Miles at the drop of a pin. I feel like even when Phoenix “hated” Miles, she still had some deniability in her or something: again I don’t remember what she said in the second game. Some things I’ve read literally has Maya yell at him until he breaks down??? And I just don’t think she’d do that personally.

It is my sober date today!!!!! October 8th 2021 was the last day I had a drink. October 9th, 2021 was the first day I went without one. And it sucked!!!!! So bad!!! But I’ve been sober and clean ever since. And I’m really really proud of myself for that.
