Post!WWI Manfred & Reader, with the reader also being a WWI vet who most unfortunately was stuck on trench duty (and had to go through mass amounts of trauma and PTSD (if ur alr with writing it ofc), watch all of their friends die and on top of that ended up losing an eye during the Battle of Passchendaele)

During the night as Manfred and the reader are cuddling, they end up having a nightmare reliving the hell that was glorified and served to kill off the youth and innocence of young men. And after that wake up in a panic, they have Manfred right there for comfort <3

If ya need help I can always share an example or two of my own writing ^^ (since anyone who has seen it knows how much I love traumatizing my oc's). And if ya want I feel like different movies like All Quiet on the Western Front (with the 1930 version being my favorite but they're all pretty good), 1917 and possibly some research on the Battle of Passchendaele for the historical accuracy (or if you'd like I can research that myself and give summaries so you don't have to spend much time researching and can get the writing done easier)

First of all, I'm always ready to write our beloved Red Baron for anyone who loves history and historical characters, so ask away sweetie!🥰

Second of all, of course I'll write up a hurt/comfort story you've requested with the themes and topics you've mentioned👍

And i really appreciate your help in researching this particular battle, so if you don't mind I'd like a few facts and maybe a summary of The Battle Of Passchendaele if you don't mind. Anything to help me get a feel of the time and place to write the story🥰
