Some thoughts after rewatching the Turn Pilot:

Overall, the pilot is a lot more grim than I think the rest of the show ends up being. Turn is a serious show, but it lets itself have fun with the setting and how theatrical the characters are. But I think the pilot is still gripping and does a great job of setting the scene and establishing the characters.

Abe gets beat up every episode of this show, but man does he get his shit wrecked in the pilot. Every other scene, that farmer is getting stomped on, punched, manhandled, or just straight up tortured. Half an hour of this hour long pilot is Abe being a punching bag. Was every day like this for him before the show starts?

Ben's introductory scene hits every time <3 The pilot emphasizes his cunning but doesn't really incorporate his idealism yet.

I only realized during my last rewatch that Robert Rogers hated Ben because Ben killed one of RR's men during his escape. Before that I had no idea why he was so obsessed with him lmao. I still think his vendetta against Ben is kinda insane, but i can at least understand the logic of it now.

Why do they make John André so mysterious in the pilot lmao. Glad they switch from the wig to the Jedi padawan hair for him.

The only levity in this episode comes from Caleb and Hewlett. Caleb brings the warmth while Hewlett is just so over the top as almost a caricature of a British officer, it's beautiful and mesmerizing. Burn Gorman saw this character and knew exactly what he needed to do. Even Baker running late and out of Abe and Mary's home doesn't hit as a comedic beat because they look so uncomfortable about being forced to house a British soldier (and understandably).

Why are the faces of the men who catch Abe smuggling covered? I don't think either Ben or Caleb were in the boat, so what was the purpose of hiding their identities from the audience and Abe?

Simcoe is a real creep in this episode. I think it's to the show's and the character's benefit that they pretty quickly change course to Simcoe being a scary, homicidal, immortal cartoon villain instead of the potential sexual predator the pilot makes him out to be.

I don't have much to say about Mary rn except that I never hated her and I always believed in her and when the ending of the first season finale aired i was so vindicated and I cheered bc i always knew that Mary was That Bitch. Mary puts the LOYAL in LOYALIST.

I don't really know why Turn decides to throw in a little murder mystery into the beginning of season 1. I guess just to cause conflict and eventually rub in Abe's face that everybody hates spies? To show how different Abe is at the end of the first season when he does actually take another man's life? We will see!

Thoughts abt the pokemon villains in the Legendverse after their respective

Giovanni and the rest of Team Rocket are either in hiding, or doing their business to a much much much smaller scale. Team Rocket is the only evil team that I can see still living as they are essentially an underground business. Wouldn't be surprised if theirs still some small factions up. Giovanni may be involved in TLH, though I'm not sure if it's the Legendverse version of him or RR version.

Maxie and Archie are barely able to dodge a life sentence, thanks to Steven and Wallace. vouching for them. After some years in jail and parole, and lots of couples therapy, the two both end up settling down together. They are still passionate about the land and sea respectively, but now put their knowledge to good use. May or may not have a bunch of mudkips and may or may not have a kid of their own ( that isn't Jin lol)

Cyrus, from the earlier post, got dragged out of the Distortion World and put into therapy. It took a long while but he's doing much better now. Happier too. He still prefers to keep to himself, so Danica got him a cottage at Lake Verity( Mespirit promised to keep an eye on him). Though, every so often he goes out, visiting Danica and her mom, Cynthia ( they started to rekindle their old friendship) and his grandparents. He's not exactly ready to revisit his home in eterna woods, but he silently hopes he can one day.

I'll be honest. I think Ghetsis is dead in this au. His sickness got the best of him and he passed away. The shadow triad are ultimately aimless right now, though I think Wayne helps them out. Maybe. Colress, as we know, is living his best life. Though he does want to try and reconnect with Eva. He was very fond of her, as a fellow lover of science and machinery. But, given how she doesn't want to see him, he'll just have to wait and see.

Lysandre.....oh Lysandre. The perfectworldshipper in me wants to have to miraculously survive and get lots of therapy and love happily live together with Sycamore. But alas. It cannot be. Given how in my version of events, Lysandre used Yveltal's power, with Xerneas as a potential back up. So basically, he's dead. Sorry Sycamore. ( Though I can see an alt ending with him surviving thanks to the backup Xerneas power. Though I think for now he's dead).

Guzma in this au isn't really a villain. Well, I would argue neither is his canon counterpart. Basically, Guzma is a freedom fighter, and is only seen as a villain due to being the few that actually stands up to the Aether Foundation - the real villains. After everything went down, Guz repurpose Team Skull into helping Alola. He also becomes the uncle to the Alola kids, and rekindles a lost love ( Kukui) and starts a new one ( Burnett)

Lusamine is most likely by herself in either Kanto or Kalos. She is no longer in contact with either her kids or the Aether Foundation. She has a lot of regret,after deeply reflecting on her actions. To her kids and to Alola. I feel she gets better, but is no longer in the picture ( unless I think of something related to TLH). I don't know what this means for Mohn though,but I do think he deserves to remember his past and be caught up to speed on everything. He'll be there for his kids :)

okay, here i go. i will just say my opinions on this, i'm not expecting you to agree with everything nor i want you to. please keep in mind i barely remember the series and have just reread the scene you mentioned. plus this is so long, i fear i will bore you.

the scene is so bad written. it's so funny how bad it is given the fact it is supposed to be a moment where both the readers and the seven get to be troubled and hesitant about what to do. except that we don't feel like that because the situation is showed to us like an emergency: nico has five days to live and he can't get out of it alone.

anyone who disagrees with the idea of saving him will be seem like an asshole. there's no question, because the situation that is presented was something urgent and without other choice besides them going and saving him.

i was surprised with piper being a mediator, i barely remember the stuff she did so reading she trying to calm and reassure hazel that yes, they are going to save her brother was so sweet. frank clearly was just trying to keep hazel from panicking so i will judge him here: he was only a trophy boyfriend in the whole scene. he didn't have an opinion and he just accepted that well, it's time to save hazel's brother then. i kinda can judge piper for the same, but given i hardly have good things to talk about her i will let it slide this time.

it's so funny how everything happens in percy pov and he. barely talks about it. he says he have a "rocky relationship" with nico, but he also affirms they are going to save him — that they have to —, but when he could say anything to make jason and leo to feel less suspicious about the whole thing, he does nothing.

it's interesting to see that since hearing about nico's situation, all annabeth does is analyze what's happening and say the obvious — she points out he is the bait when she is alone with percy and she is the first to make it seems ambiguous ether or not they were going to save him, as it shows here:

“The giants are trying to lure us,” Annabeth said. “They’re assuming we’ll try to rescue him.”

she doesn't say if she agrees or not to go save him. damn that's cold as fuck. in her defense, she is supposed to be more "rational", but she could still keep being neutral and make people think and theorize about the why nico couldn't tell anyone about the two camps instead of just passive watching. actually besides this and the other line about the death slumber, she says nothing in the entire scene.

leo, like annabeth did in private with percy, was just pointing the obvious.

“Uh…” Leo shifted in his chair. “One thing. The giants are expecting us to do this, right? So we’re walking into a trap?”

that's his first line. it's after this that everything went downhill. in a critical approach, i think it should be questioned if they would save him or not before they know if nico is a) alive and b) could get out of the situation on his own. doing it after just seems like leo is being rude and apathetic to another human being life. which i doubt was the point here, given he does have some points to make:

“Don’t get me wrong, Hazel. It’s just that your brother, Nico… he knew about both camps, right?”

“Well, yes,” Hazel said.

“He’s been going back and forth,” Leo said, “and he didn’t tell either side.”

Jason sat forward, his expression grim. “You’re wondering if we can trust the guy. So am I.”

Hazel shot to her feet. “I don’t believe this. He’s my brother. He brought me back from the Underworld, and you don’t want to help him?”

while we, as a readers, knew about nico's intention and reasons, the characters does not. so if there was a change he was, in fact, a traitor, it would be great to point it out while they have time to discuss it. neither leo (, piper) or jason really knew nico — plus, while jason does says he remembers the guy — some pages ahead —, something we should keep in mind is how much does he actually remembers? and how much does he knew about him?

these two were not good judges of character here, since they didn't really knew nico beyond what others could tell them (and one of them was still working on remembering his past life). they really were the best ones for this, to add this tension, but the timing was bad. it made them look like bad guys even though they had the right to question if that was actually a good move.

hazel also gave them no actual reason as to why they should save nico (besides it being the actual heroic and right thing to do). the only thing she said here is he broke the law of the circle of life for her. and they don't want to help her?

she only made him look worse (/lh) while trying to defend him. it's not like jason or leo were bringing an impossibility to the table — he maybe could be gaea's ally, how would they know? his actions were not adding up and what she said is just a reminder of how far nico can go if he feels like it. were they right? of course not (but now my mind is like wHAT IF THEY WERE– damn being a ficwriter is ridiculous).

and even while bringing this possibility on the table, these two never said what if we don't save him, uh? it can be implied that maybe they didn't wanted to — to me it isn't though —, i guess it depends on the interpretation on who reads it. the thing is, they raised a point that nobody wanted to — or thought about — and the only thing that made they look like assholes was the fact that nico's days were counted. (my mind is so giddy to work on something like that i'm starting to hate this concept /hj)

and what it's the most funny about it for me is that hazel makes a jab at jason a lil later.

Hazel’s arms shook. A silver platter zoomed toward her and hit the wall to her left, splattering scrambled eggs. “You… the great Jason Grace… the praetor I looked up to. You were supposed to be so fair, such a good leader. And now you…” Hazel stomped her foot and stormed out of the mess hall.

my sweet summer child, he is being fair — but it doesn't seems like it because people are biased and are only caring about one life. (i probably sound like a big asshole too lmao, i swear i just being the "cold and analytical" cliche here, i hated this scene when i first read it too). was it really a good option to go in a rescue mission when they were fighting to save the world? one life is really more worth than thousand, millions one? should they really risk everything to save nico just because he is hazel's brother?

a good leader see all the options and try to see the situation from a lot of ways so they can better prepared for whatever is thrown at them. i don't think he is being a bad leader here (you, who is reading this, can totally disagree with me. my opinion won't change.)

now, if the question was only if it was a good choice to save him or not and his life time limit, i would end the post here. but no, there was another thing to put in the equation:

“That’s not much time,” Piper summed up. She put her hand on Hazel’s shoulder. “We’ll find him. At least we know what the lines of the prophecy mean now. ‘Twins snuff out the angel’s breath, who holds the key to endless death.’ Your brother’s last name: di Angelo. Angelo is Italian for ‘angel.’”

did they even had a choice here? another thing that came way too early in my opinion is how they must save nico because he was part of the prophecy puzzle. of course the majority would go on board with saving him if he is a necessary tool to defeat gaea — this could also be used as an argument, a pretty bad one being honest, since you would only see him as a way to finish your task. but still would be one more way to convince others to save him too.

it doesn't necessarily negates the point that leo and jason made though it does make it clear that ether it is a good or a bad idea doesn't matter — they will need him. they will have to rescue him, because the prophecy says that he is the one who can guide them, so even if they have solid proof that they shouldn't; it doesn't matter.

the prophecy always became true. be it by the way we think it would or be it in the unthinkable way.

to resume: does i agree with the character questions and debates? no, nico is dying and i need and want him alive. jason and leo acted like assholes? depends on how i am judging the scene, if i am being biased: yes. if i am not being biased: a little. does percy and annabeth silence is okay? no, cause it doesn't make sense — even if percy is feeling petty or is simple ooc (or both, because these two arguments can coexist), i still think he should have at least tried to make nico be seem in a better light (even if he failed at it, like hazel). annabeth could still make a neutral point about how he helped in the wars while also didn't help or made it easier in finding percy while theorizing about the reason why nico did that. frank could do better, maybe he could side with leo and jason (surprisingly) and it could be something to work on his relationship with hazel. piper actually was very interesting in this scene, i could feel she somehow empathized with hazel since she also was in a similar situation with her dad in the first book (also she calling jason and leo out for being cold?? amazing, perfect, i loved it, this piper is now part of the characterization i wil use to write her).

i don't even remember what point i was trying to do lmao. all i remember was being too annoyed with people being angry at the seven for this scene. like yeah it's completely okay and valid to be angry, frustrated or uncomfortable with their decisions (or lack of), i just felt like people didn't really understood why the scene was even there in the first place (although very bad done and executed).

[Ah yes. New chapter is out today. So I'll put my ramblins under the cut. I'm thinking it's not going to be eventful just by the first page and title, but hey. I do tend to find some dusty, scratched gems in here.]

[For starters, and why this will likely be uneventful for this arc, it has definitely just gone into the events of Super Hero. Which. Is expected but kind of lame. It's just really boring to rehash the movies, either going from movie to anime/manga (not sure which came first with BoG and Res:F) or, in this case, movie to manga. Maybe they'll change some shit, add a little more detail, but I'm going to guess it won't be anything significant.

Also, where's the Broly movie adapted to the manga? I'm still bothered by this because he DOES appear in the movie. So, if they adapt those scenes to the manga, how do they explain his appearance? It's really just super inconsistent, which, for this series, is a feature more than it is a bug.

HOWEVER. As I said when I watched Super Hero:

I love Pan's teacher. She's really cute. And I love how there's zero concern for the green man picking up Pan. Great teachering. 10/10.

But then immediately this--

I think we all know my disdain for the "Piccolo is a better dad to Gohan" narrative, so are we going to start getting the same with "Piccolo is a better parent to Pan than Videl and Gohan?" Like I get his frustration but considering he literally kidnaps Gohan at age 4 (and yes, I know things get better and he does change and treat Gohan well as time goes on), I have trouble holding Piccolo up as the gold standard of parenting. And secondly, if it's the same as the movie, I GUESS i can kinda get frustration with Gohan not taking a few minutes to just...go pick up his kid, but Videl was at work. He could have just said no and Gohan would have HAD to go. Either way, I don't feel like Gohan and Videl working makes them a bad parent. This is pretty normal shit when both parents work.

Also not gonna lie, this reeks a little of Toriyama's sexism OR at the VERY LEAST his old fashioned and traditional ideas about how families should work (and I feel Super really pushes the traditional family over what it felt like DB/Z were pushing in the importance of friends/found families as well). As in, one of them should always be available to take care of Pan, which, usually translates to the woman. And I'm GLAD they worked Videl away from just being another housewife because it doesn't suit her, but ugh. I can see the GOHAN BAD DAD LIKE HIS DAD jokes already.

Idk how Krillin knows all this but whatever. I still hate Vomi as her name, but I'm more disappointed that we couldn't get at least faces for Hedo's parents. But I guess we know Gero and Vomi had two sons, apparently. I'm naming him Puka (I fucking hate it and this is a joke and in no way canon or at least i hope it's not god).

Okay, that is pretty shitty of Gohan tbh. I personally think it's out of character for him to be that thoughtless, though. klajsdf I'm sure I ranted about this with the movie but I fucking HATE this shit. Like we've literally been through this TWICE with Gohan in Z, and even to some extent in Super with Frieza returning, the expo tournament, and the ToP. Gohan would ABSOLUTELY by EXPERIENCE know that Goku and Vegeta aren't always going to be around to save their asses. It's why I don't agree with the idea that he just gives up training entirely. He has too much of a hero complex in the first place, and he knows that he's the next strongest behind them (because I can at least see him being reluctant to define himself as stronger than them, even if he has the potential to be because modest boi), so keeping up with his training to some degree is a no brainer, even if he doesn't WANT to. He knows he has that responsibility, so once more playing up this "lol Gohan stopped training!!!" bit, especially at this point, is so damn old. They don't even try to make it halfway nuanced in any way, so it's literally just rehashing nonsense for a shit narrative.

And in this instance for this specific case, I agree with Piccolo being pissed. That's a stupid ass mindset for him to have.

Hi! I just wanted to say that there are people that believe Miarren is real without liking Mia. I don't like her style, her music, her sense of humor etc and she isn't someone I'd want in my life. That said, I believe Darren could be in a real relationship with her because a) even though I've been a big fan of him for twelve years I don't actually know him and b) relationships don't have to fake to be toxic or just not great. The main reason IH is bullshit to me is that it's basically just for the stereotype cliche plot. There's the damsel in distress and oh would you look at that, she's in love w the protagonist, and turns out she's actually kinda special (like she has powers) and helps the protag! Except she doesn't, rather than that, i feel like ichigo is just constantly saving her from trouble and she doesn't do anything—though she totally can, her powers can heal, defend, and even attack but even with all the time and training i feel like she's just still the same. She only helps when ichigo is like half-dead, and that makes me wonder if she has something like a necrophilia kink or something and just wants to see ichigo dying.

And i feel like it's the same w RR, it's the childhood friends troupe. I'm kinda tired of it. RR were basically best friends and then they broke off, and then they both couldn't bother to communicate w each other. They're childhood friends, they grew up together, they should've at least noticed if things were going wrong for the other. Yet renji ignored that rukia literally was uncomfortable w being adopted and rukia hid things from renji, like her insecurities and inferiority complex (sorta). It would've been better if they'd just mended thing between them and then went back to their previous relationship, childhood friends, best friends, or even a brother and sister relationship or even just like a casual bro relationship. But kubo made them marry as if it was a rule that childhood friends equals being married to each other. (Maybe that's why i had no friends when i was little)

But w IR, they were complete strangers, then they had to live together, became close slowly and came to know each other. They were close, they trusted each other, they protected each other, helped each other. Just like how a normal relationship should be, they grew closer with time and they developed their chemistry. Yet, with IH, they didn't show any progress in their relationship. It was the same. Their interactions were limited and weren't that memorable (because i honestly didnt care) and it was a repetitive action. Orihime needs helping, ichigo goes to save her, gets sidetracked, almost dies, orihime cries and ressurects him blahblahblah. And dont let me start on how she's scared of him and his full hollow, that's not love if you feel fear. And then with RR after they made up, it was the same as before, they were looking just fine with the relationship they had. Then they got married. What's the story? When did they have feelings for each other? When they were small, it's understandable that they may had a crush on each other. But after growing up and what happened between them? It would honestly be awkward. Both RR and IH weren't given any time to explain why they married each other. Wasn't given anytime to develop their relationship even further and it wasn't shown to us. That's why i believe it's bullshit and they are simply being held at gunpoint by kubo to act along.

IR deserves to be together, Renji can go wreck his captain, and I personally think Orihime deserves to be with Tatsuki.

I agree with many of the things you mentione tbh, aside from some things here and there like Inoue resurrecting him, which she didn't, the hollow would've taken control either way. Or the part where maybe Renjo and Rukia had a crush when they were younger, which I don't believe one bit on Rukia's part because in that case she wouldn't have had feelings for Kaien as soon as she turned around from Renjo now would she?

Renjo said it himself he, Rukia and the other guys were a family. That's also how I think Rukia has always viewed him for the whole time, maybe untill she got adopted and the didn't talk for 40 years. After they mended their relationship thanks to Ichigo, I guess Renjo was more like a friend by that point.

As for IH..eeeh there is lit nothing there lol, no interesting past, no good developed friendship, it's all just so bland. They share lit nothing, somehow tho she keeps being shown alongside Chad, so I guess we should "see" her as another friend. Or the Ichigo cheerleader? Or the people Ichigo has to save? The two people that follow him around? IDK tbh in Chad case there is a mutual understanding, Inoue just insert herself anywhere she could by herself. wanting to do this and that but ending up just being the one to be saved.

Anyway however you look at IH or RR it doesn't change the fact that IchiRuki is and will always be superior in every way. Like you already wrote, we actually got to see them, from the start to the end develop and grow close, without any disastrous s*it like I don't know Rukia being scared of Ichigo, or Ichigo taking Rukia to her execution. You'd think if Kubo didn't get the time to develop IH and RR at least he would've avoided such disastrous content but nope, he gave them that kind of things, while he took the time to give all the good content and development to ichiruki. 1. Alice is based off Rachel Berry from Glee! I love what everyone thinks of Alice it is genuinely so funny because people have messaged me on discord saying similar things. They either love her or hate her and it's a sight to see.

2. Clara is fine... for now. Interesting that you thought of Eva though. Don't count her out completely yet.

3. Oh, it's nice you like Rachel, I like her too. Now with the latest chapter we learned a little more about her backstory (i.e, her family, specifically, why she lives with her aunt) we'll find that Josee and Rachel do share a few things in common, but more on that later.

4. Nathaniel is eh. He's just an ignorant character all around.

5. THIS MADE ME CACKLE THE MOST. You're right, btw. Leo and Liv are so much worse - and guess what? It only gets worse. Wait until you see the next chapter... Leo and Liv are truly despicable people - they make the ice dancer's rivalry with the cadets look like child's play.

6. Yes. We all know. I have not seen one person HC Josee's mom as a nice person. It doesn't get better for a while.

7. Jacques' parents are so interesting to write, especially Jacques' father. The complicated father-son relationship is one of my favorite arcs of Jacques' character. As for Fleur, there is a reason why she is the way that she is - as in, this passive attitude she has (but don't worry, she won't be like that for too long *wink*) Fleur and Hector's backgrounds are pretty complicated, and a lot of it has to do with their occupations, which could come as a surprise to people.

8. Isaac is hilarious. I love writing him. You're so right that he is one of the few adults that knows what they're doing, or at least is trying to be a good influence in the ice dancers' lives.

Thank you for your opinions on them. I really, really, really wish people would send me feedback regarding the story more, especially the OCs. Yes, they aren't as important as Josee and Jacques, but they play a really important role in developing Josee and Jacques and why they become the characters we see in RR.

The questions were quite lame really and soon everyone got bored again

How can they call you guys obsessive? They expose you, leak your information and pictures and threaten you while you guys do nothing! I've been following you for a couple of years now and besides some nicknames I have no idea who the big Miarrens are yet I'm sure most Miarrens know who you guys are. If that doesn't highlight who the problem is I don't know what does. I also don't get what they're trying to achieve, leaking pictures isn't going to make any CC'ers think M&D are real, the opposite

Nothing surprised me more than when i was speaking to a nice m/iarren about something and she mentioned that everyone knew who i was because they googled my first name, profession, and NYC. I cannot even believe that anyone would be interested in wasting the time to do this. I am a fan and to them, nothing more. I am irrelevant if what I say is untrue, just a bat shit crazy bitch that has crazy ideas.   the issue is, they are scared of me and my friends because we are relentless and won’t go away (I am sure PBB and RR thought for sure we would disappear after the sham mockery) and point out constant holes in the story. And they can’t look away from it, because it is clear that D is hiding his hand behind his back, snubbing her, giving her bitch glares, jerking away from her, skiing away from her, not engaging with her, that there is no consistent story, that the “wedding” was a joke, that something is wrong about the C/D relationship, so instead they engage in crazy and unhinged behaviors including stalking us online (HOURS and HOURS every day) and creating blogs not to talk about their favs, but totally to try to discredit us (unsuccessfully).  I rarely go to their blogs unless things are pointed out to me (though I admit we had some laughs over the weekend).  I have no interest in knowing what Michy or anyone else looks like.  I know the big ones because they post copious amounts of pics with d and claim to be his friend. That is not my fault, they are posted on the D news site.

But this latest stunt that they pulled, not only uncalled for, but it is showing a level behavior that is deeply concerning.  That pic was not taken of BC (not that this would be justified either as he is a private person), that pic was taken of me, a fan and a handful of my friends.  Why am i relevant to them? I shouldn’t be, i disturbed no one that day (or at any other event including the book signing that someone felt the need to tag C and his team to say i was a threat), i spoke with my friends and enjoyed the show.  Plain and simple.  

We are not the ones with the problem and I bet if you D could speak openly and honestly, he would confirm that the people with the issues are the ones stalking fans that are not harming anyone by posting on the internet in our corner of the world.

[footmuncher, groundrumbler, nebula and terraterror are in the living room, playing a game of monopoly. they're enjoying themselves, as they should (<3), until a confused bonecrusher rolls into the living room with them.]

BC: where's my wife gone at this time of night?

[terraterror is the first one to respond.]

TT: well, we've just woken up.

GR: -not quite. i've been awake for a couple of hours.-

TT: -when'd you last see her?

BC: in my bed, with me wrapped around her as if i were a boyfriend corset.

RR: [mighty Russian yawn] did someone say 'boyfriend corset'?

BC: oh, hey, roadie. have you seen my wife anywhere?

RR: no, unfortunately.

BC: ...hmm. what if... [indecipherable]

GR: what if what?

BC: what if she was kidnapped by the autobots?

FM: rockie? kidnapped? dude, she's oughta be the biggest, toughest bot i've ever known! she can't've been just snapped up like a piece of candy out of a halloween bowl! impossible.

RR: ...halloween? is that a human tradition?

[BANG. A loud screech is heard, with a sword having been shunted through the bunker door. It quickly retreats out the way it came in.]

TT: roadravager. check the door.

RR: 10-4.

[roadravager approaches the door, making as little noise as possible. he checks through the little scar the sword made in the bunker door.]

??: Hey, Roadie! Mind if I come in?

RR: oh, rocketjumper! [he opens the door for her. of course, you already know what happens.] absolutely comrade, come o-AAGH!

[A large sword makes itself known through Roadravager's back, fresh Energon dripping down its length. The poor guy is raised up into the air, and sent into the kitchen counter.]

A!RJ: How are we doing in here, then?

[everyone reacts in different ways. footmuncher hides behind the couch, nebula finds that she's able to teleport through the ceiling and does so, terraterror and groundrumbler ready their weapons against rocketjumper, and bonecrusher's mind 404's.]

TT: rocketjumper, stand down! you're outnumbered!

A!RJ: Hell, doesn't look like it. One o' you's already down, two've you've hid somewhere, and y'all three look pretty fuckin' shook already. 'Specially that prick behind you.

GR: what? bonecrusher? nah, don't worry about him, he's just contemplating all the ways he's gonna skin you alive!

[Rocketjumper lunges forward and snatches up Groundrumbler by his neck.]

A!RJ: What was that, little guy? Speak up this time.

TT: ...bonecrusher? if you could react, now would be the best time.

GR, struggling to breath: you! are fucked! for trying this today!

BC: [he grows a stern expression.] ...alright, well.

[Rocketjumper ALMOST breaks Groundrumbler's neck, yet she's stopped by a mine claw shredding her abdominals. She drops Groundrumbler and stumbles back a little bit.]

[seeing an opportunity while rocketjumper's not looking, terraterror signals footmuncher to get to the terminal and have nebula lazer rocketjumper.]

A!RJ: Finally, a real fi-

BC: yeah, no. here's a warning, you autocunt. i'm only going to say this once, so you'd better listen. get the fuck out of here before i turn you into a tiny little puddle of mercury in a 5 foot crater.

A!RJ: [Tch.] You think you can do anything significant to me, hunchback, then come on and try it. At least you'll go down fighting.

BC: ...y'know i never wanted to do this to you rockie, but if it has to go down this way, so be it.

[bonecrusher and rocketjumper engage in a quite brutal yet quite quick sword/claw duel. buncha deflections, a couple of hits are exchanged. once they're done, rocketjumper's armor is effectively gone and bonecrusher's left arm is left on the floor. terraterror sneaks over to footmuncher, who's gotten to the terminal. footmuncher is tending to roadravager's injuries.]

TT: alright... nebula. need your help.

N: i'm here.

TT: i need you to target the outside of the base. i'm going to have the gang lure rocketjumper outside, so you can bring her down all of her notches. whaddaya think?

N: sounds good. i'll be on standby.

A!RJ: Good to see you've got some fight left in you, skater boy.

BC: ahuh. can't share the sentiment, personally, because i'm LITERALLY BEING MURDERED BY MY OWN EX-FUCKING-WIFE.

A!RJ: Finally, there's some of that world famous rage. So, how're you gonna try to kill me, huh? Have those bastard tanks shell me to death? Put me in a headlock and rip my guts out? What's rocking around in that tiny head of yours, hmm?

BC: well, i've got one thing for you. [he whistles, and kicks rocketjumper hard enough to stumble her into range of... well, the tank battalion.]

BB, from down the hall: FIRE.

[bunkerbuster, doomback and fortslammer throw some shells downrange, hitting rocketjumper in the chest, left foot, and right shoulder. somehow... she's sent flying out of the bunker door. the bunker door is ripped from its hinges and killed due to this. the guys must've had some high-kinetic shells or something, i dunno.]

TT: BRING HER DOWN!!

N: you got it!

[Rocketjumper adjusts her hat, and spits out a mouthful of blood.]

A!RJ: What, you think that's enough to- [She stumbles over.] -to kill me?!

BC, with a... VERY angry expression: TRY LOOKING UP, YOU FUCKIN' IDIOT.

[Rocketjumper looks up at a VERY ORANGE star in the sky, which she comes to learn is not in fact a star. She gets fucking MELTED, near-immediately, not even giving her enough time for a death scream before she's hit. She doesn't even DIE from this.]

N: direct hit. i've done enough in terms of ballistics. gonna film this for the optimuses.

TT: hah. good idea, that'll show 'em.

BC: what was that about murdering you? huh?!

[No answer.]

BC: ANSWER ME, YOU RAT BASTARD.

[Rocketjumper, looking... really melted, to the point that I honestly don't know how to describe her appearance right now, manages to get up on what's left of her feet.]

A!RJ: Still alive, asshole.

BC: down but not out, huh? perfectly fine. here's something you should've thought up before you got kidnapped and brainwashed, you bitch. 'what am i willing to put up with today?' NOT FUCKING THIS. I'M NOT WILLING TO PUT UP WITH MY OWN FUCKIN' WIFE TRYING TO KILL ME BECAUSE, oh I DUNNO, SOME SOON-TO-BE-SCRAPMETAL LOOKIN' ASS CLOWNS DECIDED TO TAKE YOU AWAY FROM ME. WE USED TO HAVE SOMETHIN' TOGETHER, Y'KNOW! A!RJ: [Her eyes flicker red, seemingly telling Bonecrusher that his loving wife is still in there.] Well... no. No, I don't. You've pretty much summed it all up. Y'know, Boney-

BC: YOU DO NOT GET TO CALL ME BY THAT NAME.

A!RJ: [She kneels.] ...apologies. I, uhm... I didn't want to be like this. This... massive, walking Russian bunker of death. For the record, I am sorry for causing such a disturbance today. I probably caused you some turmoil, huh? [She chuckles.]

BC, having calmed down a bit: alright, is that all you've got?

A!RJ: Mhm.

BC: good. rest in peace, babe.

A!RJ: Thanks.

[Another lazer of death comes down from the heavens to vaporize the rest of Rocketjumper for a solid 5 minutes. A 15-foot crater is melted into the ground of Antarctica.]

RR: [coughs up a bit of blood] aw, man. she was such a nice lady too.

MB: [he suddenly lands in the crater, getting some rocketjumper on one of his feet.] ...what happened here?

BC: to sum it up briefly, my wife recently became my ex-wife, tried to kill us, and got melted to hell for it.

MB: i see. sorry for dropping by late. had some business to take care of myself.

TT: don't worry about it, and uh... look up. you've got incoming.

MB: hmm?

[nebula teleports onto one of marrowbomber's shoulders.]

N: hey, dude!

MB: oh, hi there.

BC: ...i'm gonna go visit patchwork. feeling a bit woozy.

RR: allow me to carry you, comrade. i'm not as weak as you right now.

BC: yeah, ye- [he stumbles, roadravager scooping him up before he's able to hit the floor.] ...yeah, alright. god, you're strong.

RR: well, i am russian.

FM: damn right. [he grabs some cubes of energon.]

GR, with a raspy voice: hey, is one of those for [hacking] ...for me?

FM: absolutely.

[and so, with that comes the end of autobot rocketjumper's attempt on bonecrusher's life. everyone settles down, old faces meet new faces, and life goes on. bonecrusher's nightmare realm visits become quite a bit more vicious, unfortunately.]
