So I can’t stop thinking about different ways that Ed could find out Stede is ticklish. Specifically before they kissed because now that their feelings are out in the open, I’m 100% convinced that the first time they make out Ed will accidentally tickle him and then absolute mayhem will follow. So I like to think about it happening, I dunno, between episodes 7 and 8? Ed touches him all the time, so it’s going to happen eventually. Maybe they hit choppy waters and Stede loses his balance and Ed goes to steady him and, uh, it does NOT steady him. Or just a friendly leg squeeze that makes Stede jump (wrote a story about that one, lol). And I think the reason I’ve been daydreaming about this is because is there anything in the world more flustering than someone you have a crush on (who doesn’t know it yet (ok they probably know but you haven’t actually told them yet)) accidentally tickling you then doing it more on purpose just because it’s fun? Because I can’t think of anything, lol. Stede’s poor stomach is going to turn into a butterfly sanctuary.  All of that to say, if you have ideas about how Ed could have accidentally found out, please share them, lol.
