Se e vida é, the second single taken from Pet Shop Boys’ 1996 album Bilingual.
This was a promotional copy sent to our radio station in November 1996. It contained two single discs printed on bright yellow and neon green vinyl, with an instrumental version and a few dubs and remixes of the song.
It spent 8 weeks in the singles chart in the UK, one reviewer gushed that it was life-affirming and the best Pets single in years.
This release contains the original, the Deep Dish Dub, Deep Dish Liquid Remix, Pink Noise Mix, and a few remixes by Mark!
That's all I know about particular release, I was just surprised that they would send out a no doubt rarer (and costlier to make and ship??) coloured vinyl to campus (and other) radio stations, but I'm glad that 25 years later, we still have our copy and it's in pretty good and listenable condition!

my comic is live right now!
kyle and rex is an absurdist drama set in a stagnant afterlife where everyone lies, cheats, manipulates, and hurts each other in order to gain political power and admiration from the public.
with characters constantly haunted by ghosts of the past, trying to stay on top of the food chain despite constant betrayals and having their secrets held up above their heads, comes back kyle, from his long stay back as a guiding spirit on earth, to take back reigns of the throne in the inbetween. though much like everyone else, hes got a long list of dirty laundry that many are aching to reveal. there are no real friends here.

something I love about hearing ESL speakers talk and specifically make mistakes is it gives you great clues about syntax in their native language. sure you could think your coworker is dumb for saying the sentence in that order but why would you when you have just gotten a valuable tool to help you speak fluent Language later on

Wait, English isn't your first language?? Now I'm super curious
lol my tags on this are a little misleading. English is my first language (and the only one I’d call myself fluent in), but my parents are immigrants and while I don’t speak their language very confidently I do understand it very well. but although I am absolutely in AWE of all the incredible fic writers who write such amazing prose in English while not being native speakers, I am not one of them and English is, by pretty much any definition, my first language :)

Woah this little project has been going on for 3 years now! A little crazy that I've managed to keep this thing running but I am nothing if not committed to the bit. Thank you to everyone who has been here since day one and everyone who has followed along more recently in this journey to post every single Sanji! Here's to three more years 🥂

21 and 48 (this is an unsubtle invitation)
21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story?
👀 oooh I have no idea how that supposed to go tbh I've collabed with writers as a visual artist before but never had writer friend actively collabing on the same work together, at most I've offhandedly mentioned things I was writing to another writer and the conversation helped me continue shaping it indirectly? But like yeah absolutely would be up for it!!! :D
48. What do you look for in a beta?
I've never had people beta-read my stuff before my last fic! For the last one I did get help from one friend who likes the Kurashikis a normal amount and one who likes vlr a normal amount, it wasn't really something I thought about with a lot of weight to tbh? I just felt I wanted to show them first and see what they'd think, formal feedback aside from grammar stuff wasn't really a priority although I always love criticism
