oh yes!!! so much!!!!! even the things im writing bring me constantly into a situation of hair-tearing-out crying-clawing-screaming hitting-head-against-the-wall. i flip-flop between thinking i cant even write what im writing and thinking that im kinda decent. hhhhh. anyway!!!!!

i want to write a solid longfic with extensive worldbuilding. it doesnt matter the genre, just solid and rich worldbuilding where the writing stays consistent and steady until the end is already good. but if i could specifiy, i yearn for it to be a canon compliant/canon divergence/canon era fic with a unique take on canon. i want to write canon era fics in general, but im always hesitant to. i know what happens when i fall into a research hole, it fires up my anxiety. and i want to write scifi or a cool space opera. and i want to be able to write novel fic (of tyk) and not want to die during the process. all these things feel impossible to me :]]]]]]]]

3. how would u describe ur writing style?

i had to think about this for a bit!!!! because my writing style is unfortunately directly connected to my mental stability which is not always. stable. huehe. hmmmm i think my style (given that im doing good!) leans very hard into economical but evocative storytelling; like, i mean the rhythm of oral storytelling. stream of consciousness. prose poetry. poetry slam. i want the words to explode in your mouth and i want it to paint a very clear image in your head. i want people to hear me telling the story! even if the reader (or listener!) cant be there to experience it for themselves, at least i can tell them about it! thats probably because my first experience with story as a concept comes from audio dramas and generally someone reading something to me. thats honestly still the medium i prefer, tbh.

currently i dont write in more than one language, if u dont count non-fictional handwriting bc i write all my notes in my native language. but i still remember how it used to be to write creatively in german. like im always whining about how difficult it is to cast the same image in english as in german; i just dont have that fine motor control over english as i have over german. i can easily switch between gears in german but english still ,, befuddles me pfft. its most noticable when im mucking around drafting and spend more time thinking about fun stuff like correct grammar and correct sentence structure and which word means what in english, than about the story and the characters. it takes so much energy and effort to think about and of all of this, there is barely any space left for the story that im trying to tell. which is def a major drawback for me and one of the reasons that ive been considering to start writing in german again. even though i have uh some baggage there that i dont really want to face. language is so connected to identity and culture. and thats another reason why english is difficult; i know english, aside from school, mostly from usamerican books or from online interactions with usamericans or people talking usamerican. so that has ofc heavily influenced my own english. like, i set all my stories in germany for reasons, but its stupidly hard to draw up the cultural markers because the language itself that im using is already coming with cultural influences from another country. its really strange and confusing, and i would find it fascinating and interesting if it wasnt so frustrating. sometimes it feels like there is a veil between me and what im trying to say, and also as if my thought patterns dont work as they would because the language that should just be a tool to tell a story is already so dominant. thats def smth i hope to change in the future

hmmm. its very earnest. reading my own stuff, even old stuff, i can tell what sort of struggles made it hard to get smth specific onto the page. and sometimes what ends up on the page is not what was supposed to be there in the first place. but its earnest and i can see that. its always the best i can do in that moment, and its always a piece of me because i give so much of myself during the process. thats not always a good thing but its how i am. im glad the earnestness, the sincerity, the love, the faith, the hope, is so visible to the bare eye.

0/10 Albedo is my least favorite design... He looks so fuckin goofy and from what I know about his character the fact he looks so goofy is not great.... The shorts look so dumb and the blue of his shirt looks weird...

Just wanted to visualize my issues with his goofy outfit... wont be ‘fixing’ anyone elses.

10/10 So fucking cute. The colors are beautiful and well spread through the design, Zettai ryōiki. bunny theme...terrific. Ambers just perfect. Look at that fucking adorable face as well... look at her big ol smile and tell me she aint a 10/10. She’d get a 10 if all I ever saw was that big ol smile.

9/10 Barbara is adorable. Her costume is gorgeous. I love the white with blue and the gold accents. Very pretty my only gripe is the lighter blue on her bow...

10/10 Beidou is just gorgeous.... I love that shade of pinkish-red with the off-black and purple with the gold trim. Shes just so hot... also her English voice is also top tier which is irrelevant to my ranking... maybe but--

1/10 Bennetts not as bad as Albedo but god hes annoying to look at... and listen to....  he looks like hes a Kingdom Hearts knock off, the colors are weird, and he has the personality of s1 Ash Ketchum.... Im sure hes a swell lad... but

6/10 Chongyun I mean I love the color pallet and over all its fine. I think the onesie with the cropped jacket and the weird half robe is weird but it looks fine if I dont think about too much.

7/10 Diluc is pretty but not as fun to look at as some others. I do really like those red palm gloves. My biggest gripe is his shirt.... with the belt? WHAT? Sir do you know what a belt is for.....

8/10 Diona... so cute. I kinda just wish her hair wasnt pink. I dont like the pink in her design at all but other than that... super cute. I just noticed her gloves had little peets on them.... THATS SO CUTE.

4/10 Fischls color pallet (other than her hair) is gorgeous but other than that... hate the overall design... Im not opposed to sexiness... but come on....

7/10 Ganyu is very cute but idk whats going on with her outfit at all.... its a very confusing piece.... but I dont hate it...

7/10 Whoops forgot the new girl... Her designs cute... but it is a bit dampened by the fact I think about toilet boy Hanako.... but other than that very cute!

9/10 Jeans a hottie. Love her tight pants... is it too much to ask for more hot girls in tight pants? IS THAT SO WRONG?! I dont really like the weird open top bit or the red bits but I dont hate it either.

10/10 Kaeyas design is one of my favs. His color pallet is gorgeous, the design is cool, tasteful tiddie window... its great. Good for him. I’ll even excuse the spiked fingerless gloves which no other character could possibly pull off.

10/10 Keqing is gorgeous too. Again with the beautiful colors, a really charming outfit design combined with those little cat-ear buns. I do often see up her skirt when flying and climbing however and it makes me feel like a bad person LMAO IM SORRY KEQING!! I DONT MEAN IT. She seems like the type thatd be really embarrassed about it!!

10/10 Klee is so fucking cute. I kinda wish her eyes were green like her charm but the red is good too. That red and white with the warm brown is really nice, and you cant go wrong with a poofy hat! Shes so cute.

10/10 Lisa was designed to be a smoke show but she pulls it off better than Fischl. Love the roses throughout her design, the color pallet is on point, her hair matching the dull gold of the accents is really nice, a peak of Zettai ryōiki and her green eyes just POP. Shes beautiful.... I love her.

3/10 My issue with Mona is mostly her bottom half... I get that her tights design looks cool but with the rest of her vibe having her main clothing piece be like... a bathing suit? ITS A CHOICE and it ruins her design for me. Also I hate the baubles on the ends of her hair.... but her color pallet is real nice. I also like her bigger eyebrows...

10/10 Ningguang... also a total smokin hottie. Her colors are beautiful and really feel RICH. That brassy color and gold on white with the ginkgo designs... the bitch is just poppin. She looks fantastic.

8/10 Noelle is so cute... I like when I add her to my party and she gets all excited and eager to help... very cute. Her design is an endearing mix of badass knight and dutiful maid.... my only issue is her skirt.... looks kinda weird. Wish she had some petticoats to fill it out more. Also dont like that her roses pop out the way they do... reminds me of Shreks ears....

10/10 Qiqi is adorable I love Jiangshi, love the colors, wish she wasnt wearin horni thigh highs(I only ever see thigh highs squeeze thighs like that in l00d art dont come for me... I didnt design her.) but lolis gonna lol. But again her design is top tier. Shes so cute.

5/10 Razor... is kind of a mess but its largely the colors.... its a lot of weird colors. Also his design makes me think of the male MC... I literally thought he was like an AU version of the MC....

10/10 Sucrose is so cute. Again that white blue and gold look great... I like her frilly shorts and thigh highs.... her boots are cute... her hair color is a little weird but I dont dislike it. Kinda wish her eyes were a different color tho.

4/10 Childe is fine... but after seeing all the other Fatui designs and his own monster form I look at him like this and go.... REALLY? Thats what were goin with... alright... Also his whole design screams ‘fire’ to me not just colors either the shape of his mask and the pattern on his scarf thing.... its weird that hes Hydro.

10/10 I love the female MCs design... I chose the male MC because his colors popped more and im a dumb animal and was like ‘ooh shiny‘ but I think her design is a bit better over all...

9/10 Male MC is still good... its very cute. I like how she looks more suited to the Anemo and he looks more Geo... Thats pretty cool. I really like his colors... the browns/gold/white... its a striking look.

6/10 Ventis pretty cute... I dont get the weird... corset thing hes wearing, dont like his shoes,,, but other than that its pretty cute but nothing special imo.

10/10 Xiangling is so fucking cute. everything in her design makes me clutch my heart at how endearing she is. Love her. Weird color palette... its even weirder that it fully works.

7/10 Look I love Xiao hes a good lad so I cant be too harsh... but all the colors on his design look a bit weird which really brings his over all design down... which I think is cool over all.

9/10 Really cute design for Xingqiu! The colors are beautiful... I love blue and white and gold obviously and he even does it with more of an emphasis on the blue and its a greenish blue and it looks great. the top is just gorgeous, those frilly sleeves are super cute... not a huge fan of the shorts but I hear theyre comfy and easy to wear.

10/10 Xinyan just looks terrific. Cool and punky, great fiery color pallet, cool theme, cheeky personality without it being obnoxious....  Shes great! Weird voice tho... lmao

11/10 You cant tell me what to do! Zhongli is the only male smoke show in the playable cast for that he gets an 11 ok? I love a dumb old man. I do think the coat over his longer coat is a bit weird but I aint mad at it. Love the colors, very earthy, the subtle gold design on his pant legs are cool and really hes got a lot of cool bits on his coat, his face/hair are lovely. Hes a total babe.

It’s been a month since 15.18 aired and I don’t know how time flew. I still keep thinking about the confession and get emotional. Destiel went canon, which was surreal. I mean for all the clowning and living in destiel trash can, this is big deal. Monumental for the best slow burn ship. I’ve never posted anything regarding the ending because I just don’t know what to say other than the sadness of my favorite show ended.

There were/are emotions running high for what destiel represents and also for Eileen. As someone who is not skilled in writing, I really need to document my emotional attachment to this show and even then,I know I’ll fall short on what I want to say. I have to try for my sanity.

The way 15.18 ended with a love confession from a millennial old multi wavelength celestial being was the most beautiful ending of how much he’s changed (character growth). How much his love for Dean changed him that he was happy to sacrifice himself to save the love of his life and to help save the world. It was absolutely wonderful and an emotional goodbye. Misha did justice to Cas. We all know no one dies in the show so I was here waiting in the hopes he's going to be back, mostly by Dean of course. Oh how I was mistaken. 

I can accept 15.19 as to tie up to what happened to Chuck and Jack and that the brothers are now free from Chucks strings. All that's left was to find a way to bring Cas back or Jack did when he brought back everyone and even Eileen. So it makes sense for 15.20 to even exist.

My issue with the finale was, well, everything. 

Not talking about what happened in the bunker to Billie and Cas. 

*Sam mentions Cas*, 

Dean: yeah it hurts but that's life, gonna move on and make sure his sacrifice wasn't a waste. 

Are y'all kidding me? See, I wouldn't have been this mad if Dean wasn't acting like a widower and suicidal in S13 until Cas returned. But he did. He drank and was messed up and angry every time something happened to Cas. So this is way out of character for Dean and even Jensen mentioned he felt the ending was wrong. 

Brushing off Cas’ sacrifice by Dean and his whole reaction at the mention of Cas was not ok at all. Especially when there was a love confession made. 

Destiel went canon after queer baiting for 12 years and hinting Dean bi and him confessing how he wanted to experience certain things for the first time. Then take a 180 and throw it all out the window. All of Dean’s character growth.

I have no issue with the brothers, but I do have issue with the level of codependency. Dean was always scared of Sam leaving but that changed over time because of Cas (yes, that's how I always thought and will). 

He's in heaven. Again *Bobby mentions Cas*. 

Dean: *small smile* That’s it. Make me wonder if he has selective memory loss that, that is all the reaction we got after 15.18. So yeah, I have issue with the finale.

Im not asking a love confession from Dean. I know Dean loved Cas, since it doesn't make sense for his behavior whenever something happens to Cas. Dean is known for how little he thinks of himself and hearing Cas confession is just a shock given their circumstances. I can understand that.

I have issue that Dean chose to drive all the while in heaven’s timeline until Sam joined him, because Cas helped to rebuild heaven like he wished all the years ago and his baby and its ‘almost’ perfect. No asking Cas or Jack, like who freaking cares anyways? not Dean who now knows that Cas loved him. More than a brother or what's the point of Bobby even mention that.

I don't have issue with the brothers reuniting. But making Dean drive all that time and Dean’s heaven is complete only with Sam, the full circle made sense in S1-3 that's where the issue lies. 

They're not just the two anymore. Family doesn't end with blood is the main theme. They are not alone, Jody, donna, bobby, Charlie,Ellen, Cas, Jack, Claire are all their family and in ‘Lebanon’ Dean was proud, he has a family. Then they strip all that and back to just brothers. Thats not character growth. That’s forcing something that the characters have grew out and evolved and it was just that, forced.

On Sam’s part to blur “Eileen”, the character loved by all, a hunter who has hearing disability and strong willed was not even there with them. 

Cas has been a huge part of their life and all their fights and an integral part of the show, literally saving it and he didn't even get a proper acknowledgement and I have issue with that. 

To me the finale felt incomplete and I kept waiting for the end. When it was over I felt incomplete and unsatisfied. To think that it’s mainly Cas not being there says a lot as much as the writers and network people thought otherwise. I honestly wonder these people not realize how important Cas’ presence is to the show? No matter what Misha said, that he was happy about his ending. I don’t feel the same way. I’m not faulting his sacrifice or his performance. It never even discussed is what makes me mad given 12 years of teasing. But why make destiel canon and ignore Cas and his sacrifice and mainly the reason why he did that.

So yes, I’m disappointed about the ending. To blame the pandemic is just an excuse. To think that Dean can be happy only in heaven is another reason. Why can’t they all get a happy ending? Why does Dean have to die? Doesn’t he deserve a life when he never even had a childhood? Why did the writers think that tragedy makes a good story? It backfired anyway. I feel they never even wanted team free will reunite and give that long overdue beach vacation. It’s just incomplete.

the episode “what lies beneath” was like such a treat to explore their fears and have them help each other out like-

what i loved so much about their introduction was that it was *about* them and their friendship and it’s honestly just been about that ever sincei’m glad they didn’t stray too far from them to tell an interesting story- like

i know i complained about cozy glow not being chrysalis, but it was a really good decision to make her just another pony who goes to school with our new student six because if she was, in the episode, the ending wouldn’t be about our NEW characters doing something

it’d be stuck in the past making starlight and the mane 6 more important- which in this episode, they are the B plot and that’s ok!!! 

i’m happy to see the student six like.... get a lot of time to shine, show case their personalities and how they interact with each other- while also not being like one note characters with no depth 

yona; is adorable and i think the thing i love most about her character is how willing the other characters are to help her out- like it’s so easy to have yona be kinda like the odd one out but it never feels that way, i love yona, because her friends love her so much and thats so special to me

silverstream; i honestly thought silverstream was going to be really one note- like trying to be a halfway between pinkie pie and skystar and while she sort of is- again what makes her shine is how she interacts with others, its nice to see her eccentricities not treated like she’s the “weird” one that no one gets (like s1 pinkie pie??) seeing her get scared and have the lasting effect of the storm king be showcased while also having gallus talk to her about her fear without solving her problem for her? like!!!!! this is just really great way to make these characters feel real and different from the previous main characters 

ocellus; IS PERFECT AND IS GONNA BE THE NEXT CHANGELING QUEEN, i wish more was done with ocellus- she’s a changeling and i wish she’d... *change* more- i know that part of introduction was like she’s gotta learn to “be herself” but even that i wish they explored more so im hoping if the student six get another season they explore ocellus a lot more c: I WANT AN EPISODE AND IT’S JUST OCELLUS AND YONA <3

gallus; gallus could have been some bratty idiot who makes everything cringy and terrible BUT NO gallus has a heart of gold with a sad backstory and they waste NO TIME letting you know that- which i think is awesome likethere was no way i was going to sit thru a bunch of episodes of gallus being horrible only to have some “very special episode” about how hes abused at home and then never have them talk about it again like, NO no im not going thru that shiti like that instead he’s mostly a decent griffon, he can be a little curt- and at first he’s a little mean- but it’s nothing that a little friendship can’t soften and i’m glad that that’s exactly what we see, gallus, content and happy to have friends and to tease them and have fun- while still having all that sad home life in the backthere’s nothing worse than a show- with a mean character who treats all their friends terribly and the show just keeps telling us like “oh this one’s damaged so it’s ok that theyre awful” without ANY growth 

sandbar; i don’t have much to say on sandbar, i wish they’d really play up his beachy-ness more, like i was really ready for like a borderline stoner character but to be honest sandbar can be a littleeeeee bland, which kinda sucks bc he’s up against the coolest characters the show has seen- like little kid griffons and changelings ??? sandbar’s got competition!!!!! so i hope again if they get another season, we get to see *more* of sandbar and what his deal is? on the other hand, i was so afraid that the show would just *forget* he’s a pony?? like in the finale i was afraid he’d be locked up with the others and no one would address that he’s a pony but they don’t! like he uses that to his advantage which is really cool and very topical for the sort of uhhhhh “theme” these story arcs are going for i also really like his relationship with the mane 6, i like that he’s just some teenager who thinks the world of them bc theyre like hometown heroes to him and it’s always special to see boy characters who admire girl characters for their work and achievements and not,,, idk literally anything else. 

smoulder; when i saw “what lies beneath” i was so afraid of what they were gonna do with smoulder, like you see the tea party and i was like ‘oh no, theyre gonna drag girly stuff in a show,, FOR GIRLS’ but nahi like the reveal of smoulder being really into that sort of stuff like- originally smoulder was a cool character to me bc she was like a less socially inept ember, she’s not really mean just likes to tease- like gallusbut most importantly is that she doesnt see herself as “too good” for the pony stuff- or even “too tomboyish” for it- she doesnt do the whole “im not like other girls” smoulder is just smoulder- she doesnt have some big commentary on her place in the society she just does what she wants and offers help when she canshe’s really... a very very nice dragon, despite what she might try and say about itand with the reveal of her “fear” it adds a huge amount of depth to her character without having to point directly at it and try and comment on itsmoulder acts tough because she’s a dragon, she has to act that way to survive, but now she lives in ponyville and she’s realizing she doesnt have to be tough all the time, she’s allowed to do the things she likes and be the dragon she wants to beit’s tiny but one of my fav lines of hers is in “father knows beast” when she just says “i sleep in the school now, nothing says we have to sleep outside” like; she’s a dragon, but nothing says she has to be a dragon in the traditional sense, she can be a pony-like dragon like spike, she can be girly if she wantsshe can be whoever she wants to and that’s real special 

i think what i like about the student six is not what they’re *doing* with them, but what theyre *not* doing? like i’ve watched... a lot... of cartoons in my life and this season feels refreshing because we’re treading in sort of new territoryi get these expectations and when they’re not met, it’s not disappointing it’s really exciting to see them go in directions i didn’t predict! same with the characterization with the new students 

there’s so many things they *could have* done, which would have been.. an.. acceptable show, but it wouldnt be different or exceptional- itd just be the same stuff over and over again

i’m so happy we have tomboyish girl characters who dont see girly things as below them, happy to see characters who talk and act differently be accepted as one of the crowd rather than gawked at for comedic value, happy to see boy characters treat girl characters with respect and admiration rather than just love interests or decoration and just really excited to see what happens next
