people who are constantly calling m/m shippers misogynists for not shipping one of the men with a woman are not doing anything good to combat fandom misogyny(also including a female character in a ship but only ever talking about her in reference to the men in her life isn’t that much better than people who only make said female character a lesbian because they don’t want to seem like they’re bashing her for not giving her any actual importance in the story or complex character).

Also Lily has been treated a million times better than Tonks by jegulus. There are hundreds of wolfstar stories bashing Tonks for literally no good reason, and erasing her from Teddy’s life, while most Lily bashing has always been done by Snape stans. I think a lot of Jily fans on here who are m/m haters need to look at things hardcore Snape fans say about Lily🥴 even when it comes to Harry being Jegulus’s child Jegulus shippers seem to do it in a better way than wolfstar shippers did to Tonks, even if i do dislike the idea of Harry not being Lily & James or at least Sirius’s som. I hate Jegulus(it’s deeply OOC and if James was going to be in a relationship with a death eater it should be Peter but i digress) but i feel like people are watering down actual fandom misogyny

fandom misogyny when it comes to Lily usually takes the form of Snape fans bashing her for ending a lowkey toxic friendship, from people who only see her character as a mother and nothing else, and people who say she’s deeply underdeveloped even though we know quite a bit about her personality from the Prince’s tale(a lot more than we know about Regulus at least). Misogynistic jegulus fans are most likely to believe the latter about her. It’s not my fault you decided to ignore the personality of a female character because you were focusing on other things
