Reader is in a hostage situation and the 141 come to handle things. Naturally, you're hyperventilating when a huge man in a skull mask and assault rifle strides into the room. And then your brain short circuits when he takes your face in his hands and gives a long "shhhhhhhhh" that sounds exactly like your online dom of about 6 months. You were gonna meet in person for the first time in a month!

Gaz thinks "oh, you know her? weird but not impossible." Price, who mentored Ghost as a dom and knows who you are is like "what are the odds?" Soap comes to the baffling conclusion that Ghost can just... sniff out submissives in a room.

During a lull in the fighting, as they're preparing for exfil, Si (who is also apparently called Ghost) introduces you to everyone. "You follow Price if you can't see or hear me. He's the Captain, outranks me. This is Gaz, that's Soap. You can't find the Captain, you sit tight and wait for one of them to retrieve you."

Soap gives you a considering look. "So you're LT's girlfriend, then?"

Holding up 3 fingers feels familiar. The way his hand cups the back of your skull doesn't. But it's still nice.

Man why is writing so hard today? I literally sat down at my computer and typed for a solid hour and a half and it was utter garbage. But the more I looked at it the less I could figure out how to fix it! So I pulled up PS and decided to draw instead but every image just flew out of my head I couldn't do it and really I should be writing and man my eyes hurt. My whole face hurts kinda, actually, but my eyes really hurt and it's so hard to focus and it shouldn't be this hard and-- Jesus Christ it's 1am and I only got 3 hours of sleep last night.

I know TinnGun draw a lot of comparisons to PatPran, and superficially there is definitely a lot of visual homage being paid to BB in MSP (though personally I don't think they are similar in terms of characters or dynamics)...

But who I think they are far more like is Ye Guang and Zhang Xu Qi from About Youth, and I think the shows are more similar as well.

Both dramas have lots of extenuating circumstances to serve as opportunities for misunderstanding plots and creating angst through bad communication but sidestep it (MSP flirted with this in ep 7 with Gun getting jealous and silly but for the most part they subvert expectations) in favour of the leads communicating with each other and understanding where each other is coming from. Despite outside pressures (competing for an honour at school, conflicting goals and schedules) the characters talk to each other honestly, and in return receive support and understanding instead of a more typical bl bad communication subplot.

Also, well-known and uptight high acheiver with extensive parental expectations meets a more under the radar musician with a loving and poor family? Both dramas got you covered (Tinn's parents aren't abusive the way Ye Guang's are, however). The relationship progression is more similar as well. They start due to an unexpected kindness on a character's darkest moment, and the show follows as the characters progress slowly into friendship that gradually deepens to love. Both of them display through this a very grounded relationship progression, and therefore establish a healthy and believable dynamic between the leads.

Tl:Dr About Youth and MSP president share a lot of similarities in terms of characters, dynamics and story set up and if you've watched one you may like the other
