Just watched a video about Andr*w T*te starting from his childhood to today. The video wasn't excusing his bullshit, just giving a full scope of the situation. Had it playing in the background and had to stop many times because of how disgusting it was. From the fact that he blamed his mother for his father leaving after he cheated, to the fact that his father spent a great deal of his childhood leaving them for months on end to go play in chess tournaments. To be honest, I really don't give a shit if he has daddy/mommy issues or not.

But it showed so many men, not boys, grown ass men hyping him up and running to his defense, including his scams and blatant sex trafficking. The common narrative, partly true, is that he hones in on audience of impressionable boys and teenagers without father figures. And maybe part of that is true (again, I don't give a shit). But to see the difference in reaction to the loss of a parent figure between men and women is astounding, but unsurprising.

Women seem to tend to self harm, however they may go about that. Moving into sex work, physical self harm, accepting abuse, BDSM, becoming MRAs, etc.. Various forms of seeking validation. These are women with the infamous "daddy issues" which are "okay" to laugh at because, "haha, she's a sl*t".

But men are encouraged to become the biggest assholes they can. To use women's own issues to boost themselves up.

Men are taught to use a stepping stone to make up for what they've missed out on, and women are taught to be the stepping stone and hope that maybe their acquiescence will bring them that love and validation they desire.
