There is currently a war going on between dogs and monkeys in India… yes.. a war. Let’s get into it. *Trigger Warning: animal death* It was reported by multiple news outlets on December 21, 2021 that there is a grisly war happening between the monkey and canine populations of a small village called Lavool in India. The war started sometime in November 2021 when a pack of dogs descended on and killed an infant monkey. Some of you may know that monkeys do typically mourn the loss of another and can become vengeful. This brutal attack on one of their own, one of their young, has caused the simians to retaliate. The simians have begun attacking and killing every dog in sight in the small village. They are doing so by snatching the canines and carrying them to high elevations such as tree tops and buildings and dropping them to their death. If the first drop is not successful, they will try again. To date, 250 dogs have been killed by these vengeful primates and the numbers are growing. Citizens of the small village have tried to intervene but the primates have begun to attack the human population as well. Local men have been injured trying to save dogs from atop buildings. As the human population has displayed their alliance to the canines, the simians have begun to attack young children as they are on their way to school. There have been no reports on fatalities in human adults or children at this time. The second and third photos in this post set are photos from the actual ongoing scene in the small Indian village. —— I know I made this post sound like a news article but this is definitely not something one sees every day. I will keep an eye on this and definitely keep you all informed.
