Can we talk about this interesting reaction from Kim's parents in Emotion Sickness?

And why they act like Ron and Kim going to the festival is a big deal?

I mean, it has already been mentioned in many other episodes that Kim and Ron go out together to proms, festivals, shopping, cinema, shows, missions, etc and they never showed any worries.

But then there's this episode, this festival, and they feel the need to clarify "the rules" for Ron as if they haven't known him his entire life and he and Kim have never done this before 😂

Like, okay, fine, this time it's a real date... but how do they know?

Did Kim explicitly tell them she was dating Ron? Or were they just waiting for these two realized their feelings to do the talk?

It says a lot that they approved this relationship so quickly and clearly didn't seem shocked or skeptical like Wade and Monique were 🤭

'Repo! The Genetic Opera' Kim Possible AU

The image below is a spoiler for the ending of the movie Repo! The Genetic Opera. If you don't mind spoilers (and a bit of blood) go ahead! :)

(Also warning for this movie is filled with body horror, blood and other adult themes so it's not everybody's cup of tea).

Based on the final act of the movie. Also note that this isn't a Kim x Drakken in any way. It's a father daughter parental relationship.

REPO-AU SYNOPSIS: James Possible and Drew Lipsky work at HenchCo. James' new bio tech could revolutionise the medical field in ways no one could imagine but something has gotten in the way. Jack Hench instructs Drew in private to kill James Possible and leave no witnesses, as to why is unknown but the reward would be "A cure for your dear wife's illness.". Drew, out of fear for Jack and the hopes of saving the life of his beloved wife Shego, accepts the order to kill his colleague and only friend. Unbeknownst to James, Drew is in actually the Repo-man; a hitman who brings in their 'test subjects' a.k.a. people who are overdue on their pay to Jack Hench.

That same night Drew breaks into the house and manage to assassinate James along with his wife Ann. He then hears a cry coming from one of the rooms. He finds a little baby girl crying in her crib. Drew can't get himself to harm her and makes the decision to take her in so he and Shego can raise her together. Once the bodies are taken care off, Drew brings the baby into his house only to find out that Shego has passed.

Heart broken and a puppet for Jack Hench. The only thing that keeps Drew from losing it is raising his daughter Athena (Tina for short), in secret. Keep her safe and sound. She's a constant reminder of his sins as the Repo-man.

Nathan is a tragic character and while watching the movie, him switching around and taking on his repo-man persona (and way of deranged singing at some parts) just inspired me... Had this WIP for months and months in my folders but got inspired because I've been looking up some similair themed stuff for work (no I'm not a hitwoman, I'm too clumsy for that). This is probably one of the rare occasions I make angsty stuff.

Fenton and Possible Family

Maddie Fenton and Ann Possible are very estranged sisters, so they barely talked before University, and after that, never again. While both meet Alicia, they always try to never meet each other or talk to each other. So while Maddie knew that Ann's daughter Kim was playing Hero, Ann had no idea about Maddie's children, that her son was a hero, or even knew about Ellie's exist.

Kim just told her friends that the Phantom would come to the town to meet her father, talk about rocket science, and protect him for the U.N. for her new project. As if she couldn't protect her own father. Kim, look how happy Ron, Rufus, and even Monique seem to be. Kim:" Ron, we too are heroes; you don't have to be excited." Ron:" You don't understand it, while we are heroes. Phantom is like Team Go, Super heroes that fight massive monsters and similiar!" Rufus nodded his head at that. Showing a fighting move he saw on the TV Phantom doing. Monique:" And have you not seen his body? He is a pretty good-looking hero." As she showed Kim her wallpaper, like Tara and Bonnie, she too had the Hero as phone wallpaper. Yeah, Kim knows about it but doesn't get the hype. James seems to love talking to his bodyguard; the young man seems smart enough to understand and give his opinions on rocket science. And he one-shot Drakken (Drew) and Shego as they tried to kidnap him again. + At the Possible House, Danny was confused about how similar Ann looks to his mother. And that day, Ann learned her Nephew was a superhero, as he told them his full name "Danny Fenton" at the dinner. Ann called later her sister Alicia. Who told her she thought Ann knew about it? It's not like Maddie hides it; she just never talks about it, as she thinks everyone knows about it in the family! Kind of like Ellie. Ann didn't even know she had two nieces, she just knew about Ellie... Maybe they are too much estranged they are sisters after all. Alicia:" Yes you are! I told you that for years. I mean even Maddie knows about your family, but you don't. She won't visit as long you don't want to see her. And maybe you will help with the Vlad problem... " Ann:" Vlad? Is he someone she meet later?" Alicia:"When you meet you will get what I mean. Just being around him, you get it. "

First picture five years after the graduation episode. Kim went off to college in Hong Kong and her family came down to see the ceremony. (The diploma I got from a sample piece on google.) I had so much fun making everyone look older! This is a scene taken from the first chapter of my new KP fanfic The Last Aztec I'm so excited to get some feedback and to get into the nitty gritty of the plot!

As true "soul mates," they have each others' back, support their parenting decisions, and chuckle at their shared jokes. Ann especially seems to find James funny. Though they both have fairly busy schedules, they still frequently find time to spend with each other and their children. They love to sing while on road trips.

Dr. Doppler and Captain Amelia Treasure Planet

~They have a cute and funny dynamic. Even though they had a rocky start, they still respected each other’s expertise and saved one another during a dangerous adventure ~Delbert and Amelia are such a great couple. They start off as antagonistic and at odds with each other (a nerdy canine scientist and an adventurous feline captain), poking at each other, end up stepping up for each other throughout the film! The movie also ends with their incredible dance moves. Voiced by the incredibly talented Emma Thompson and David Hyde Pierce.

Back during its first season, there was a fan theory going around on Kim Possible that Shego was actually her mother, Ann Possible, which explains why she lost to a teenager and her martial art skills.

Never in my life have I ever thought about cartoon parents/families... Yet here we are:

I don't really get what makes me love the dynamic of this family so much but it feels like there is never a dull moment.

The combination of a brain surgeon, a rocket scientist, a teenage girl who frequently saves the world, and two super geniuses makes up for some hilarious interactions that seem astronomically weird to normal people.

Well, not for the Possible family.

So I came here to ask what are your headcanons for the KP characters?

Some of my own:

Drakken:

His dad died when he was pre-teen or younger. But not toddler. I'm guessing some bad incident. Can't say what, but it could explain why his mom is the way she is with him. And his mom is definitely more than anyone in the show think of her.as if she has some big secret

He was very close with Eddy with whom he got into trouble. Which includes him piercing his ears and getting tattoo (hip/thigh area), maybe destroying some mine, and probably creating some local legend/monster story

More deep thought that he might have been addicted to something possibly alcohol. And that's why he is focused on cocomoo (plus comfort)

Shego / Sheila Gothland (work in progress)

She is of Europe and Asian descent. Specially German and maybe Chinese/Korean (still thinking about it). And her parents are only people in the family that got to America. So thats kinda why no one was around them.

Before the death of her parents, the expectations were very high. And after it, the things weren't great. I guess some paper tampering was in order so not to be separated from siblings and not to get to another country to remain family members that they didn't know about.

Think she was more parent to her sibs, than the oldest Hego, who...... <_< has very questionable parenting style

James and Ann Possible

I have a big grudge against their parenting style >:/ who in the flying fuck allows their underage daughter risk her life on a daily basis, traveling the world with the same underage teen that is Ron >:( not thinking that they could get killed or very seriously hurt. Kim already struggling with school from that. Just HOW???

Not only that, but James is sus as hell, lousy friend. Your friend showed you the bot, first time turning it on and it works, hell, yes its still has kinks, but it works and he was thinking about all of you all ??????

Ann honestly gives me more hope. I still question her parental abilities. But still. She gave me impression that over time she will be much closer to the character named Megan Hunt from Tv show called Body of Proof

Here are a couple of crazy but interesting fan theories I was able to find and gather on Shego during Kim Possible S1 way before "Go Team Go" so feel free to give ot a read and share your thoughts on them:

• Shego was either Drakken's niece having to work with her bumbling uncle or Drakken's daughter having to work with her bumbling father.

• Her powers came from her gloves, they were her source of power especially with her anger.

• Shego was an evil clone of Kim created from her DNA to eventually go up against Kim.

• Shego was Kim's aunt who was either the older sister to James Possible or to Ann Possible that went to the dark side ultimately.

• Shego was created by Dr. Drakken as one of the only truly successful experiments of his and was made solely to be his sidekick or soldier.

Now here's a good but doozy one —

• The biggest old fan theory is that Shego was actually Ann Possible, yes Kim's own mother. See the theory is that Shego is actually her alter-ego, when she's not being the loving mother at home - she becomes her real inner dark self in a literal transformation. It's why she's easily defeated by Kim, a teenager, because Kim's her daughter. For theory, it would explain why she's never seen at work. Her money would technically come from Dr. Drakken or her crimes. Better yet, she's testing Kim out with her skills and even views her as a worthy opponent although she genuinely loves and cares for her daughter.

So just think about it - according to the theory, these two are the exact same character/person.
