Cozy Corner Kinktober 2024 Prompt List

It's the second year of Cozy Corner Kinktober, and as everybody knows, holding an event two years in a row makes a tradition! So, welcome to the traditional, annual Cozy Corner Kinktober 2024.

Blog Announcement/Update ☾.

To start, please let me genuinely thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Your encouraging words that you’ve re-blogged, DM’d or shared with me outside of Tumblr have really been a soothing balm. I am truly humbled and grateful. Overall, we have an amazing community here, and I enjoy interacting with everyone in the fandom!

After much thought and deliberation, I’ve decided that I will continue translating and posting on Tumblr. However, I am still exploring the option of other platforms, but I will be here indefinitely.

I made my mind up earlier today when I was translating a collab story for myself, and I just couldn’t overcome the feeling that I want to share with everyone what I am able to, especially when I know there are some who particularly love this suitor. That was the entire point of this blog….well, what it ended up morphing into.

I thought to myself, “It’s not fair to withhold this gold from others.”

And when I got home, I was surprised by a DM I received from a blogger who presented evidence that my post(s) had indeed been reported. I am exceptionally grateful to that person who has put my mind at ease, and though I submitted an inquiry to Tumblr, who knows when I’ll hear back from them. So, that was perfect timing!

Further, how the hell could I call myself Mrs. Jazza, if I let someone who clearly has nothing better to do with their lives to have the final say? There. Is. No. Damn. Way.

I won’t go on a tangent like I did the other day, but if you don’t like what someone posts, then block them, don’t be whatever you are and report other people. If you don’t like me, block me. I don’t care. I’ll block you too if you want, just let me know.

In any case, this is how things are going to go with regards to current WIPs and re-posts.

Current WIPs will take priority.

Reposts will currently go as follows: Jude’s Bond Level 27, Ellis’ CE Story and Master List will be entirely recreated and reposted, followed by the remainder of Jude’s Bond Levels, and finally the Body Swap Story.

For the re-posts, I will not be tagging those in my tags list. You’ve mostly like read them anyway, and I don’t want to bombard you.

Since I don’t know who is reporting my posts, I will most likely have more of my other translations deleted, if that happens, they will be reposted. If I have CGs I will try to post the stories again with those, otherwise, it’ll just be the story itself.

saw your post about no longer wanting to be a phan blog and i just wanted to say i get you especially the reaction to this tour has been very uncomfortable and i could never figure out exactly why it felt... overbearing ig??? but it has been building and the tour leak and announcement just seemed to put a spotlight on people seem to have learned nothing from the previous years and seem to think that now that they're back it's okay to push their boundaries because they're engaging with us again. and tbh i appreciate you for helping put into words the discomfort ive been feeling and it sucks that it turned out like this that the enjoyment of the thing gets harder because of others

I was so so hoping it wouldn't get like this again

The first 5-6 months of the gaming channel being back were mostly wonderful

Everyone was behaving and respectfully enjoying dnp being back as a duo

I've seen/felt it building up over the past few months but I kept ignoring it because I figured it was just newer phans who didn't know about any of "the lore"

But every time I'd check their page out it would almost always be someone in their mid-late 20s who has been around for 10+ years

I was dumbfounded

I genuinely cannot believe people still treat Dan and Phil like tv characters who exist purely for entertaining the masses

Hi, howdy. Just popping on to say hi and that I'm still around. I haven't touched Tumblr or AO3 since I vanished, but I do plan on continuing my stories and art. Things have been... hectic, to say the least. New job, family emergencies, among more.

Hello, everyone! It's the beginning of October and I am super duper excited!!! Like incredibly excited! 🎃🤍

My birthday is coming up fast!!! It's like literally next week: October 9th! Omg, I don't even know how to feel, it's arrived so fast.

It was literally just September, wasn't it? Gosh! Time is going by insanely fast, I can really tell ya that. But yep, my birthday is coming up! Woop Woop! 🥳🎂🎉

But there are other things on the way as well!

For October, I have a lot of plans. I have planned to celebrate the impending holidays by producing Naruhina one shots for fall, Naruto's birthday, and even Halloween. I also planned to provide many more one shots that are festive and would put everyone in the holiday spirit. So, as you can imagine, I am very excited about what I have planned. I hope you all are too!

Also, I've been working on a large writing project. I could or could not be… working on a new fanfic story right now... not a oneshot, not a two shot, but a fanfic with chapters! 😱

Not only that, but it's also ties in the mafia, hitman, and forbidden love tropes. So, overall, I really feel like you all will be delighted when I finally reveal my "surprise" to you.

I'm not gonna tell!

I'm only uploading the fanfic story once I've finished writing the entire thing. It's only a short fanfic so, I should complete it by the end of this year. So, you should be seeing it soon! 🥰

But anywho, life has been pretty busy for me, as I know it has been for all of you too. College is no joke and it's taking a lot of my time. I am also working, involved in clubs, and overall, have A LOT of college work under my belt. But even still, I try to indulge in the hobby that I love whenever I get the chance, that is, write, so I can update for you all. I hope you all enjoy the content I do manage to put out, however.

Also, don't be afraid to talk to me! I'm here anytime you wanna give me any requests or just for anything! I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can!

But yeah, a lot has been happening and I'm trying to deal with it all. But I will try to stay updated, as much as I can, and even get involved in the holidays. Just to try new things!

Thoughts on the Madrigal's Love Lives

I'm currently playing around with my head canons for Encanto's future and in trying to solidify what each Madrigal's partner would be like I came to a realization. The Madrigals each have such unique life experiences, that their partners would kind of need to be equally unique in order for them to relate to each other. Like every time I start shaping an OC for one of the Madrigals, I just can't see Mirabel connecting to your average joe, or Luisa ending up with somebody who isn't especially gentle. Even when I try making a bland background sort of character, I just find myself asking "Why the hell would Mirabel be interested in this guy?". It's like how Agustin and Felix are both such great characters, they kinda have to be in order for it to make sense that Julieta and Pepa would love them.

Spoilers for the AU story! This is just speculation but in the AUs, Jude is always Kate's childhood friend and there's a promise involved. We don't know yet if that's an AU exclusive gimmick, but for the sake of this question let's assume it's foreshadowing -- do you think Jude recognizes Kate? Is there any evidence to believe Jude knows who Kate is? Maybe he's so impatient with her because it hurts she doesn't recognize him back? Or maybe he doesn't recognize her because too much time has passed and she looks different all grown up?

Hi Anon! Thanks for the ask, for the sake of foreshadowing, yes, I do think there is a high probability that they've encountered each other as children with a promise made between them.

Further detailed theories and explanation below the cut due to mild future event spoilers for EN.

Jude: “I don’t remember things that happened a long time ago.” - excerpt from DARK IF

While it is a mentioned in both “Dark IF” and “Guard IF, ” they shared an exchange between each other as kids, it doesn’t say they were childhood friends. To me, that encompasses a established relationship developed over time. So, while I do think it will be mentioned in his route that they had an encounter with each other as kids, I don’t think it’s a full-blown childhood friends trope per se. (I could be very wrong though.)

I am hoping that if they met each other, it’ll be mentioned in episode 0 as a flashback.

Now, in both IF stories, their encounters include a promise. In Dark IF, it was to cure her illness, even if it meant death. In Guard IF, she promised to reunite with Jazza-kun. Two very different promises made.

We could brain rot a ton of ideas of what that promise could be for the main story, (if it goes that route), but for the sake of time I’ll only talk about a couple.

I think it could be a similar instance to Dark IF, where Kate helps little Jude out of a tough situation. Kate as you know often gets scolded by Jude when she puts yourself into scenarios that could potentially get her hurt, or worse (I’m thinking about the maid event and villain’s night in particular.)

So, I can see the following scenario happening: Little Kate is walking down the street, she sees a little bruised up Jude being chased by bad guys, she hides him, and they make a promise to meet again one day. Time passes by, and Kate forgets her promise over time, and/or simply doesn’t recognize grown Jude (which would be hard to do imo because his hair is so distinct…unless he wore a hat or hood when they met). Perhaps, after they meet she feels like he is familiar and later on, she remembers him.

In terms of Jude, he is spiteful, vindictive and vengeful as we know. So, I doubt he wouldn’t remember the promise like he says in the above in Dark IF excerpt. He may not recognize Kate right a way, but I think he remembers his promise to the little girl. That seems to be what happened in Guard IF. A grudge holder like Jude who values promises not being broken wouldn’t forget (that’s my take on it.)

However, I do think it’s also a possibility that he does remember Kate from childhood, and treats her like crap for either not remembering him, and/or not keeping her promise. Maybe both?? In fact, Kate mentions something similar in Dark IF to Jude before he denies it saying he doesn't remember the past.

Additionally, in Guard IF, after Kate explains why she can't leak information to him, he does remember her, and he keeps her in prison (for what I feel is a protection for her, since she can't return to her homeland without receiving a death sentence.)

Perhaps, his promise as a little boy could’ve hinged on something similar as his promises to keep her safe in these stories, such as: you protected me, so I’ll protect you if anything bad ever happens. A few years pass, and now Kate has a death sentence on her head from Crown. So, Jude steps in to keep her safe.

......Or not because he doesn't want to be bothered with it, but that can be saved for another post.

Of course, this is all just conjecture based on crumbs.
