Did you know that you can actually setup a timer on Anova without using an app? Here’s how you do it: 1. Hold ⏯ for 10 seconds (the display will switch between “F” and “C” at 6 sec) a ⏱ will appear on the display. 2. Push ⏱ 3 seconds until it turns red and lower display will show “zeros”, scroll to desired time, push ⏱, it will turn white 3. Push ⏯ until display shows “F” again. . Do you find this useful? I personally just use iPhone timer cause Anova doesn’t stop cooking after the time is up. . After several days nonstop working my Anova is as beautiful as it can be, no scale whatsoever😍 Thanks to @martin_h_oestervold idea of adding a little of vinegar to the water bath while sous viding! You can also add citric acid of coffee machines descaling mixtures, but I think cheap vinegar works well and the vacuum bags stay put in it even after a long time. Legit or Nah?
