So team tennyson and the UAF trio are completed

So here's a quick how my AU works

Ben has been out of the hero gig for about 9 or so years.

But comes back when Vilgax returns conquering all the planets in the sector and sets his sights on earth

Max who had come out of retirement a few years prior tries to stop Vilgax without Ben and Gwen knowing and gets "Killed" in the crossfire.

Prompting Ben and Gwen to take matters into their own hands Ben recieves a message from myaxx on what is currently going on in the universe and she promptly gives him this device she and azmuth have been developing called the matrix core

The concept is that the matrix core will be able to upgrade any piece of machinery it is integrated into like a portable galvanic mechamoprh.Myaxx prompts ben to install it into his omnitrix which not only upgrades the omnitrix but also evolves bens aliens not like the ultimates (but I'll explain how that works in a separate post).

Ben with his new powers along with gwen and the less crazy Kevin now have to work together to prevent Vilgaxs takeover of earth.

I've decided to do these designs by seasons so season one right now is The Vengeance of Vilgax arc

It builds up to the trio ans Vilgaxs first encounter in 10 years

But after I'm done with more designs I'll give a more grounded layout of season 1 and what might be in store for later seasons.

sports day

It's your daughter's sports day at school, and Jake decides to take part in the "dad race".

Warnings: Inaccurate depictions of DID (only knowledge from the show and some light research). Dad!Jake Lockley. Fluffy. Proofread. Edited on the phone app so apologies for any layout errors, I will fix when I have a computer. Word count: 1,791 F!Reader, no use of Y/N.

This was loosely inspired by my partner's attempt at the dad race at our son's sports day.

When you told the system you were pregnant, it had thrown your worlds off balance. 

You expected it, obviously, since you hadn’t actually planned to get pregnant, but as Steven had said, ‘these things happen, don’t they love?’ 

After talking it through with all of them and going through your options, you had decided that you were ready, that you were stable enough in your job and the bigger flat you’d all moved into that you could extend your family. 

What you hadn’t expected was Marc and Jake to disappear from your life completely afterwards. 

You understood, really, but it still hurt. Steven tried to be there for you as much as he could, being as enthusiastic enough for the four of you, but you couldn’t help but miss Marc and Jake. You didn’t feel whole without all of you together, experiencing the family you were about to make. 

Things changed at your 20-week mark, where at your anomaly scan, about to find out the gender of your baby, you turn to look at Steven excitedly, only to find Marc staring at the screen, his eyes watery as he gripped your hand tightly. You gave his hand a reassuring squeeze as you find out you were having a baby girl, and you looked over to see him silently crying as he stared at the screen. You didn’t interrupt him, letting him have his moment with his daughter. 

It was on the way home from your appointment, where Marc was still staring at the ultrasound in his hands, where he apologised for disappearing. 

“I didn’t know how to handle it…so I ran,” Marc muttered to you as you climbed into your car. 

“It’s okay, Marc,” you whispered, afraid to be any louder in the comfort of your car. 

He was already shaking your head at you. “No, it wasn’t. I got scared, it wasn’t in our plans – “ 

“Marc, it’s okay,” you say again, cupping his cheek with your hand, your thumb stroking at his cheek gently. “You’re here now, that’s what matters.” 

You talk about it all night with him back at your flat, listening as Marc spilled his feelings and fears to you, barely able to look at you whilst doing so. You held his hands through his talking, grounding him and letting him get his feelings out to you. It was Marc that went to bed with you that night. 

After that, Marc, and Steven both fronted as much as they could equally to help out with the pregnancy. You appreciated it really, but you ended up crying to Marc one night about Jake, who you hadn’t seen in months. He let you cry into his shoulder, spilling your own fears and how empty you feel, and how bad you feel because of that, because him and Steven have been wonderful, and you didn’t want to sound ungrateful. 

“You’re not ungrateful, baby,” said Marc. “Jake’s just…Jake’s just dealing with it. He’ll come around.” 

You were afraid you didn’t believe him, and you were sure Marc didn’t even believe himself either. 

However, you were proven wrong a few months later. You were reaching the end of your pregnancy when you see Jake again. You walk into the kitchen, ready to get your daily craving of those vanilla biscuits (that Steven tries and fails to hide from everyone), and you find Jake staring intently at the ultrasound photos that Steven had lovingly stuck to the fridge. 

You don’t say anything, trying to be as quiet as possible as you move around the kitchen, treating him like a skittish deer. 

“Marc said it was a girl,” Jake said, almost sounding too loud in the quiet kitchen. 

You hesitate before turning to look at him and answering. “Yeah. We’re struggling for a name.” 

Jake was silent for a moment before answering, “I like Sienna.” 

You felt your heart swell in your chest before nodding, tears in your eyes. “That’s a lovely name, Jake.” 

You went into labour late one Winter evening. It was a long and tiring process, but you managed to get through it with the help of your boys; all three of them. Sienna Dalilah Spector was born with a set of lungs on her, weighing a chunky eight pounds and ten ounces, with all three of her fathers immediately wrapped around her finger. 

And it hadn’t changed since in the five and a half years since. 

So much so, that Jake was crazily cheering for Sienna as she ran in her egg and spoon race. She was coming second to last, which was fine, because she probably just wanted the sticker at the end of it, for participation. Her dark curly hair was up in the ponytail you’d placed it in that morning, albeit looking a little more flyaway than it had when she left to go to school with Jake. 

“Well done, Sienna!” you called as she crossed the finishing line, already skipping over to her teacher to get her sticker. 

“She’s getting more confident, huh?” Jake asked you, his eyes watching his daughter like a hawk, his overprotective habits evidently dying hard. 

You nod, smiling as Sienna ran back to the starting line. She’d had a tough start to the year, moving up from nursery into Reception in a different school and not knowing anyone, and she’d had some behavioural issues at the beginning, but she settled in eventually, with some extra support from the school and you, and her dads. Now she had a small group of friends, who she would talk your ear off about whenever she got in from school, about what games they played, what lessons they learned, and what they got up to the night before when they weren’t at school. You were so proud of how far she’d come, as were Steven, Marc, and Jake. 

After a few more races, the teachers announced a break for the children for a drink, before doing the parent’s racing. 

You grinned at you look at Jake. “Gonna do it?” 

Jake scoffed. “Obviously. Gotta make my princesa proud.” 

Not a few seconds later, Jake’s legs were surrounded by an overexcited five-year-old. “Daddy! Are you gonna run?” 

Jake laughed as he picked up Sienna, placing her on his forearm. “Yeah, I am.” 

Sienna didn’t fully understand her fathers’ condition, she just knew that sometimes Jake was Marc, or Marc was Steven, or Steven was sometimes Jake, but sometimes he was also Marc. She didn’t have a favourite; she had a different relationship with each alter, and sometimes she liked having tea parties with Marc, but she also liked visiting the museums with Steven. Her favourite thing to do with Jake was to just drive around in the car and listen to music, singing at the top of their voices. You weren’t privy to their concerts; it was ‘their thing’ Jake had teased you. 

“Are you going to get stickers like me?” Sienna asked, pointing to the collection she had on her too big PE shirt. 

“I’m gonna try,” said Jake. “You gonna cheer for me? The loudest?” 

Sienna nodded. “Yeah!” 

“Gonna beat all the other dads?” 

You give him a swat on the arm as Sienna cheered. “Yeah!” 

“All right, I’ll try my best,” Jake said, before putting Sienna down at her teacher called the children back and asking for the fathers to make their way to the starting line. “I’ll see you later, princesa.” 

Sienna, without another look at her parents, ran away to join her class at the starting line. You look at Jake. “Go easy on the other dads,” you said, grinning. “Not everyone here is super powered avatar for an Egyptian God.” 

Jake snorted, giving you a light shove as you laughed at him. “I’ll try.” 

He wasn’t going to try at all. 

As Jake walked away, joining the other fathers at the starting line, you grab your phone, because you were absolutely not missing this moment (that you would definitely be showing to Marc and Steven later); Jake Lockley, the last to accept your pregnancy, who was scared shitless about becoming a dad, was willingly running a race for his daughter. You can see him grinning at Sienna before giving her a thumbs up before getting in place, preparing to run. 

You giggle as you press record on your phone, filming Jake raring to go, that competitive look on his face, the one he gets when Marc is winding him up and dares him to do something (probably) stupid. You giggle, before cheering, “Go Jake!” before adding, “It’s for the kids!” 

You see him subtly smirking, obviously hearing you, the underlining message of take it easy hanging in the air. 

Sienna’s teacher clapped her hands to gain everyone’s attention, before calling, “On your marks…get set…GO!” 

You immediately start cheering with the other parents as the dads run from the starting line. You’re surprised to actually find Jake holding back a bit, giving the other dads a chance. You giggle as you followed him with your phone, seeing that he was aiming for third place. You cheer and whoop along with the other parents, and just when the dads were approaching the finishing line, Jake sped up, making it look effortless, before crossing the finishing line in first place. You’d never seen the boys in action as Moon Knight (it was something they tried hard to hide from you), so seeing Jake running like it was no problem at all took your breath away. 

You didn’t realise how fast they could actually run. 

Trying to hide your shock at Jake’s speed, you roll your eyes as Jake spotted you, before you finish the video on Jake getting his first-place sticker on his chest. He looked for Sienna before pointing to his sticker, Sienna giving him a thumbs up. Jake practically sauntered over to you as you shook your head at him. “You’re a sore winner.” 

“Baby,” said Jake, teasingly. 

“Couldn’t even hold back at a kids event,” you say, mockingly. “Big macho man, just had to win the dad race.” 

“Gotta show ‘em how it’s done,” Jake said, grinning. He was so proud of himself, and you knew he was doing it to annoy you. 

“Burro,” you mutter to him, and he gasps in mock shock, his hand on his chest as if you wounded him. 

“Nena,” he said. “You kiss our daughter with that mouth?” 

You give him a light punch on the arm, chuckling as Sienna’s teacher calls for the mum race to start. 

Jake raises his eyebrows at you with a grin but you’re already shaking your head. “No.” 

“Why?” he asks. “I had to do it.” 

“Because I won’t win,” you say, grinning. 

Jake snorted a laugh. “Sore loser.”

In Stepmom Nico what if lil Mousy had a nightmare and goes to Seb but Seb is sleepy and just tells him to go away. So he tries to find Momma but the halls are dark and the house is big and he gets lost (maybe they have only recently moved Mousy into his own room?). Poor baby just starts crying. Maybe Maxy is also staying at their house this week and wakes when he hears Mousy crying since he is a light sleeper so he goes out to look for him and together they go to Nico and Toto for snuggles.

When Seb finds the four of them together in bed the next morning he is confused and asked what's going on so Nico or Toro tell him about Mousy's nightmare and he feels so guilty for telling Mousy to leave..

Plss! Mousy having slept in sebby's room a lot, or snuggled between papa or momma but he wanted to be a big boy when Maxy chose his own room too mousy wanted to be a big boy and sleep in his own room too! Nico and Toto make sure to read mousy a story as they tuck him in.

Mousy having a nightmare and he is so scared and disorientated! Hr manages to find sebby's room and wants to crawl into bed next to his brother but Sebby maybe wasn't feel well and mumbles at Nicky to go away.

Nicky geting lost in the house because he is sleepy and scared and he cries quietly while sucking on his ear and trying to reach door handles on his tippie toes but he doesn't know which door it is!

Maxy is a light sleeper and hears Nicky shuffling about so he goes to check and finds Nicky crying ans asking for momma and papa! Max learned the house layout by heart just if he has to hide or flee and knows where the room is, taking mousy there and helping hin crawl in bed, Toto waking and lifting Nicky to snuggle between him and Nico , and asking if Maxy wants cuddles too! Maxy is shy but crawls in and makes biscuits on Toto's arm🥺

Seb would feel so guilty the day adter but Nico reassures him it's okay? Sebby is a kid himself, he isnt responsible for Nicky!

i cannot express how much i missed seeing your bryce/jensen posts- so a question for the blorbos:

setting the scene for when these two are finally settled at their shared apt/house. pick any room- describe the vibes (furniture, decor, paint colors/wallpaper; is it messy/clean? how's the lighting? etc.)

okay im gonna pick their living room bc im obsessed, specifically when they move to chicago together

so it's a very open layout between the living room, kitchen, and dining room. the living room (and the rest of the place) is dark hardwood floor, and they painted one of the walls like a rich dark blue. they have all dark blue curtains, a dark blue couch, and then they have this funky tete a tete in a cream color. their center/coffee table is also dark wood (vintage, as is the rest of it bc they are Not about a modern look) on top of a cream colored carpet (the not blue walls are also cream). also bryces 900000 plants

they have So many prints and art pieces. a lot of them were commissions, but they've thrifted quite a few. lighting is mostly natural bc they have big windows, but at night they have lots of lamps (the big light is Never on trust n believe), all warm-neutral light. they have plenty of side tables and shelves for the lamps, as well as a floor one

it's usually pretty clean. bryce is def messier than jensen so his shit tends to be everywhere (especially for a night out dear lord bryce has to try on 1000 outfits ans they end up Everywhere). jensen is jensen though so it's always dusted, sanitized, generally very clean, but also VERY cozy. like you don't walk into their house and feel like you can't touch anything, it's obviously lived in but not a huge mess

BTS: for Vecna Vision 3D?

Oh Maan... So many scenes are my favorite but the Joyride chapter going into Steve's Vecnavision is so actually my fave.

This whole sequence was in Steve's perspective and he's not exactly the most observant of guys so there's several layers of dramatic irony in him agonizing over Billy and coming to a realization about his sexuality at the worst possible time, aka in the middle of the upside down trying to get out. Meanwhile Billy's clearly having his heart broken by how well Nancy and Steve work as a team, and do things without thinking for each other. Poor Billy thinks its a failure of communication that he has to voice his needs (it's actually good communication.)

This sequence's got everything I want: Steve realizing he's bisexual, sexy wound tending, Billy ripping out a demodog's heart or something, car chases, Robin with a makeshift flamethrower, tender homoeroticism, and Vecna being THE drama.

Eddie and Billy flirt so much in this scene my beta converted to a full on metalsandwich reader mid-fic. Not a joke, she ONLY ships them as a triad because Eddie's SUCH a flirt. He really is just like that.

I wrote it on a plane to Austin, TX and didn't have wifi access but I mostly accurately got the town layout.

The cyclone of demobats is my favorite part, it took me a while to figure out where I wanted the sequence to go, but I love the idea of swarms and swarms of them attacking, like in The Birds. Side note, is the Creel house meant to look like this or like Bates motel?

They do show that electricity kind of does exist in the upside down, and that objects there are from a particular time, so Billy figures out pretty quickly that hotwiring a car might be a possibility. One thing I wanted to play with is that from the moment Billy figures out that the lake gate is a no go, he is not stopping until he gets them home, he can't even stand still for one moment. While Nancy is gathering clues, he's scavenging as quickly as possible. That's part of what makes him a good team member- he takes risks and works fast, because he's used to obstacles making things harder.

And can we talk about Billy's healing factor? I'm dying to talk about his healing factor. This is the first time we actually get to see him really use it, he grabs things with his bare hands that would make the rest of them shrink back in fear, like crushing demobat skulls with his bare hands. I particularly love the part where Robin asks about upside down rabies, and Billy says he's pre-infected. I wanted him to have that sort of careless dark humor about his powers, like a certain someone who shares a lot with Billy.

And finally, Steve's VecnaVision. While I appreciate Nancy's in canon, it doesn't reveal a whole lot, actually it seems to step her back in character development all the way to season 1. I understand Barb dying is her thing but it seemed a little less evolved. So I had to imagine what Steve's biggest fear would be. First, Vecna plays heavily on his intelligence, which is an obvious pain point, but then goes further. Steve is a really protective person, which of course Vecna sees as a weakness. I really wanted to show that Vecna is most powerful here, and that he can cause physical sensation, completely warping a person's sense. Why show someone a vision limited by the powers of boring physics when you can do anything. Steve's Vision includes a lot of earthly references, he's thrown through the ground, digging into dirt. He's very solid and defined, ans his sense of self is the same way.

Later when Billy goes into his vision, everything is liquidy, scenes dripping and swirling and drifting, because I wanted to show that Vecna tailors his vision not only to the person but the way the person views the world. Billy's in a moment of transition, and he feels sort of insolid and unsure about so many things. He loves the ocean, but there's a fear there too, because the ocean can also be loss.

Maybe when I write the sequel we'll get to see what Vecna would do for everyone else.

Some silly ANS ideas; Kai's dragon is named Ember instead, Zane names his Borealis (yes I'm gonna get fucked up with it), Jay names his Bolt or Zolt Idk, and Cole still names his Rocky for the funnies.

The Spirit Coves are like. REALLY weird. They don't follow the rules of the other worlds, because the Coves aren't a "Realm" as much as "A Place In Between", kinda hard to describe but no Realm Travel can get you there, only a HEAVY spiritual bond. Even then it's risky bc no one rlly comes out of the Coves alive.

The Underworld is rlly fucked up by Garmadon, in that he has a bunch of those weird rocks from s9 Borg Tower all over the place, a bunch of old statues that were in the Underworld for some reason are super damaged, and there's just, a river of lava for no reason.

The Caves of Despair are located in the Forests of Anguish, neither of which are fun, because they have a very... deceptive nature one may say. The Hammer of Quakes (It's gonna be a Hammer for now) can greatly affect and change the layout of the Forests for literally NO reason, it can just. do that. it only stops when Cole takes it from the pedestal, but then that awakens the Earth Guardian who terraforms things wayy worse than the Hammer.
