I can't ship couples who have jealousy issues between them.
I know this may sound odd considering my OTP has tons of jealousy issues. But I am not talking about that kind of jealousy.
Throughout the series Ron and Hermione were NEVER jealous of EACH OTHER. They were jealous of EACH OTHER's romantic partners/dates/crushes. (Ron was jealous of Krum, Cormac, Lockhart and Hermione was jealous of Fleur, Rosmerta, Padma and Lavender).
However not for once they showed any jealousy towards EACH other's achievements or capabilities. Ron was in awe of Hermione's smartness and Hermione always valued Ron's bravery and good heart. There was no resentment between them regarding each other.
However if you consider some other fanon ships such as Draco/Harry, Draco/Hermione, Fleur/Hermione, Ron/Harry, Ron/Krum.. those ships can't really work. Bcz Ron was very much jealous of Harry and Krum, Harry was jealous of Ron's prefect badge, Hermione was jealous of Fleur, Draco was jealous of Harry's fame and Hermione's brains and smartness. If someone is jealous of their better half then after a while they will start resenting their partner. And that's not a basis of a good relationship.
No way I am putting ronarry or fleurmione alongside crappy ships like drarry dramione. I just used them as examples. That jealousy between each other is NOT healthy.
That's why Romione's jealousy issues never bothered me. Bcz they weren't jealous of EACH OTHER. And they never treated each other terribly over this. All Ron/Hermione conflicts came from their clashing personalities and their dating preference.

The fact that h*rmione is paired with everything that breaths (or not) is proof that jk didn't bother to develvolp other female characters, besides H*rmione "what every female character should be like" Gr*nger...or it just means that her character has no personality? Idk
Pretty sure there's a fic out there pairing her with a dementor....

I think it's better that the Harry/Hermione space and the book-loving anti-fanon majority remain seperate. It's the best way for both factions.
Hi and thank you for your ask!
I strongly disagree. Anyone should be able to enjoy the wonderful series that is Harry Potter without having to ship Romione/Hinny and be anti-Harmione/Dramione/Fremione/Fleurmione. I want to talk about my favorite characters, my favorite storylines, I want to criticize the films but I don't want to see people invalidate me and my fellow Harmione shippers. It's simply unfair. Ship wars are awful but they happen all the time and there's not much we can do to stop them but they shouldn't be affecting our overall fandom experience. If I want to join the fandom and get a proper experience I have to sacrifice my self-esteem and sense of self value because I'll have to accept people insulting H/Hr shippers and dehumanizing us and that includes me. If I choose to stay in H/Hr-only spaces, I'll have to sacrifice my fandom experience. How is any of this in any way "best" for me? Sure, pro-canon and anti-H/Hr shippers will be happy, they won't have to isolate themselves from the "main" fandom to enjoy their ships but how about the rest who simply won't be able to enjoy Harry Potter and discussions like everyone else because they ship something that no one tolerates?? No, that is not the best for me.
Anyway, I really hope you can understand where I'm coming from! I think my experience is valid and I hope you can agree with me. Have a wonderful day. :)

Hey I have a questions: Why do you ship Fleur and Hermione like I'm really curious about that ship and what are your fave scenes?
Please note that what I’m about to say is mostly inference since the initial Harry Potter series is told completely from Harry’s point of view (except maybe one or two scenes). And I’m putting it below the cut because I’m freaking gushing about the dynamic and I could write an entire freaking essay for this ship.
I ship Fleur and Hermione because they have a really good dynamic. Hermione doesn’t really care if someone looks good, she just wants someone she can have an intelligent conversation with (something she couldn’t really get from Ron and Harry for seven years). Fleur doesn’t really want someone who will drool over her, so much as someone who genuinely loves her (which, I suppose, Bill did since they spent so much time curse-breaking together).
They also balance one another out really well. Fleur seems like the type to make Hermione stop overworking herself and Hermione seems like a good person to help Fleur become more integrated into Muggle culture and the good things about it (can you imagine Fleur’s face when she discovers that frozen yogurt is a thing?).
Not only that, but both of them are formidable witches that everyone in-universe thought incapable and bitchy upon first meeting (Hermione’s know-it-all status and Fleur’s anti-English attitude). Also, Hermione and Fleur are able to bond over the fact that Wizarding Britain is racist af toward both of them. Fleur is a creature and Hermione’s a Muggleborn, both of which are looked down upon in Wizarding Britain’s society (the Death Eaters were extremists, but that doesn’t mean the non-extremists aren’t racist to some degree).
There really aren’t that many Fleurmione scenes, which makes me sad (you’re more likely to find more Nymione scenes (Tonks x Hermione) than you are Fleurmione), but that’s okay because we can just pretend they began getting to know each other whenever Harry wasn’t around to witness it.
Point blank, I ship it for the dynamic of the pair than anything else. Their personalities and intelligence compliment each other very well. And Hermione at least knows some French, since she spent the summer there before fourth year.
