I went all out on the Dyonisus redesign and made his hair mimic grape leaves, added a few spiral wounds because I think his birth wouldn't have been without accidents. Hope it's good!

I also edited in Chiron instead of Hades because. C'mon.

Hello Lore Rekindled Fans! Charon, am I right?

For real though I love the Lore Rekindled by @genericpuff and I’m a certified LO hater. I’ve been scared to post my actual fanart here but uh, this popped into my head in the middle of class and I had to draw it.

The girl is a character from the LO AU I made once upon a time! Her name is Styx, nymph of the river of loathing and the oath keeper of the gods. I always imagined her as buddies with Charon.

[ Note that this will only be critiquing the ART of Lore Olympus, not the questionable decisions made by its author. ]

Okay so the main Gripes I have with Lore Olympus' art is that absolutely No One brings the exact deity they are In mind.

When people see this without ANY LO context as to which Olympian this is, the usual consensus is that he's Dionysus because of the predominately clean shaven and purple colour scheme.

But in actuality this is Zeus. (Dionysus hasn't appeared in the comic from what I remember).

Not even the main duo in Hades and Persephone Look like the deities they're supposed to be, Hades is just a blue man in a tux and Persephone looks like a Bimbo.

In fact I could even throw darts at the hornet's nest and say that nearly Everyone in Lore Olympus looks the same just with different clothes and hair, ESPECIALLY the female characters (except Athena for I think fairly obvious reasons).

It gets even Worse when the males turn sideways cause up front they have a regular looking nose but when they turn to the side they have noses that put Doofenschmritz's to SHAME.

And none of them have Facial Hair!! Why is Rachel so afraid of giving them beards or moustaches?? Even like ONE character with a bit of Fuzz is enough for me at this point.

Is it because it would break the Modern Beauty of them? Is that why All the men all look so BORING AND PLAIN??? IN THE MOST DEROGATORY SENSE????

I feel like Rachel doesn't even Try to add the neat little Deity symbolisms to them (i.e giving Zeus thunderbolts to his design) so people can At least tell what this is the God of but NOOOOOOO everyone's gotta have this discount off brand pretty man look to them, No One is allowed to look scruffy or have beards cause THEY WOULDN'T LOOK PRETTY ANYMORE!!!!

A star is born 🌟

I just had to redesign Hera’s fertility goddess form. In all ways possible, I wanted her to be opposite of Kronos, hence the total makeover.

I based her color palette off of a neutron star! Neutron stars are technically dead stars and she was “dead” there for a minute so I figured that would go hand in hand.

I bet most of you have noticed by now that Persephone is most of the times drawn with a cleavage, which ig wouldnt be a problem on it's on, but the thing is, sometimes her cleavage is SO BIG that like... It's almost flashing us LMAO 😭

Even when she's wearing a greek chiton/dress, which tipicaly doesnt have much of a deep cleavage, her girls are still ready to pop out.

So I decided to go ahead and draw her in a Minoan dress, I mean, the ""cleavage"" on those aren't that different from the ones RS draws, lol.

Also, I wonder if RS knows about the existence of these dresses? 🌝
