The fact Timoteo and Iemitsu (pkus Guardians + Reborn) probally would be stunned and confused if Tsuna absolutally hated them and Vongola enrages me
They would brush off as teen rebellion or just a phase. Thinking it would be easy to earn the boy's loyalty and he would favor them
That their puppet would be obedient and would not blame them, would try to put the blame on the evil Xanxus or whatever
After everything they did, they were counting on Tsuna not having a spine to go against them after all the abuse and manipulation. Or even don't think what they are doing is bad
Motherfuckers
They would think Tsuna consider them family and friends
🤮🤢
Why the fuck we got Tsuna forgiving them? What the hell Amano? Why this kid didn't grow a backbone?

disharmony. 4/??
Daichi is hard to surprise. He has to be, to lead a clan filled with headstrong, bloodthirsty assholes. But the Sawada kids have come the closest to surprising him since Kyōya discovered tonfā. He knows who they are and whose kids they are. Daichi makes sure to keep tabs on the people with connections to the Underworld. They’re under his protection, after all.
READ ON AO3 OR READ UNDER THE CUT
The Hibari Clan Head might not be Underworld unlike some members of his clan, but they do keep him up to date on the current intel. Sawada Iemitsu hasn’t been to Namimori in over a year, causing a rise in the amount of Mafia scum he has to clear out of his Territory since the Young Lion can’t keep his damn mouth shut. He knows that Nana Sawada gave birth a few months ago and seemed even more airheaded than possible soon afterward.
Something’s not right.
He watches as the kids settle on the mats in front of him. The eldest, Tsunayoshi, nervously rubs his pants while his twin, Chiyohime, watches him with suspicious eyes. The youngest is asleep in Chiyohime’s arms.
“You’ve come to the Hibari for help, why?” he asks.
Tsunayoshi clears his throat nervously, eyes darting around the room before landing on his siblings and steeling his spine. “Something’s wrong with Okaa-san Hibari-san and I don’t know how to contact Otou-san for help.”
“What’s wrong with your Okaa-san?”
“She won’t touch Matsu-chan,” the boy answers quietly, “and she drifts around the house like a ghost.”
Postpartum Depression, possibly? Shinsuke’s wife suffered from it after Tetsuya was born. It probably doesn’t help that Sawada had fucked off back to Italy soon after getting her pregnant.
“Is there anything else?”
He shakes his head, some of that nervous energy returning. The twin hasn’t stopped watching him suspiciously, but he doesn’t begrudge her for it. With how much their parents have failed them already, he’d be suspicious of other people too.
Daichi hums thoughtfully as he weighs the pros and cons. He really doesn’t want to put the Hibari on the Vongola’s radar, but these kids are under his protection.
“I’ll help you,” he says.
Tsunayoshi lights up, slumping a little in relief.
“What do you want in return?” Chiyohime demands, speaking up for the first time.
“My son needs to socialize with people other than his cousin,” he answers dryly.
Tsunayoshi pales while Chiyohime presses her lips together. Daichi doesn’t let his humor show, Kyōya's reputation precedes him after all.
“You want us to be friends with your son?” she clarifies.
“Yes.”
Tsunayoshi trembles briefly then firms his resolve, his brown eyes almost gleaming with a hint of orange.
“We’ll do it.”

there’s so many things wrong with lambo being given a ring. starting with the fact he’s a five years old kid, of course, but more than that, like.
he isn’t given a tutor despite being the weakest link? granted iemitsu didn’t expect that all the guardians would have to go on a one on one against the varia, but he knew they were coming and that there would be a fight and--what? he thought the varia noble enough they wouldn’t go against a kid even if he must have known levi’s reputation better than any of the rest? i mean, if he was going to make sure the guardians got a proper training in preparation for the fight, you’d think he’d have started with lambo, just in case he’d end up needing to fight too, which in this case was a very likely possibility no matter how you look at it.
but okay, he isn’t made to train because he wants to leave him out of it as much as possible, which, you know, is perfectly reasonable and commendable. but he’s literally left to his devices when a very quick coming war is looming above all their heads, by the sheer fact he’s among the ones holding a ring too, no matter if he isn’t going to be involved more than that? he’s literally given zero protection, which, again, you’d think iemitsu would have spared one or a few of his men to make sure the five years old kid doesn’t throw the ring in the trash or lose it, if nothing else. but obviously mostly to keep him safe, or at the very least to keep the ring safe.
but okay, he doesn’t do that either, because it’d be putting a target on his back and pretty much revealing he’s a holder of one of the rings too, if you feel like being generous with him. but then lambo isn’t even made aware of the situation?? and you know, not even necessarily in its entirety because you could argue a five years old kid shouldn’t have to be dragged that deep in the mafia (which i agree with), but also. he’s mafia born and mafia raised. there was definitely room there to give him a sanitized general awareness of the situation, so he’d know to, oh i don’t know, not fooling around while he’s outside and ending up lost all alone on the street when the sun has already set?
i just. i don’t know. like iemitsu (and reborn, who also knew) not only didn’t bother with at the very least the barest minimum, but just didn’t do anything. just gave lambo the ring and hoped for the best i guess. without even telling him even that either, lambo literally didn’t even know he was carrying the ring!!
that’s so--?? it’s not even funny, because as canonically shown, lambo (and fuuta and i-pin) were saved literally at the last second, that’s so fucked up.

Holy... that Tony Stark/KHR au sounds like it'd be amazing.
(Send me an AU and I’ll give 5 HCs)
lmao sure why not. For those confused, here’s the original prompt
Tony stark meets has a very distant cousin on his mother’s side by the name of Sawada iemitsu
This AU is called Childproofing is not optional
Genetics, a wonderful and annoying thing. Namely, if Tony could blame something, he would blame the fact that his mother was a quarter Japanese as the reason to why he was so short.
Speaking of family in general, he has one distant cousin. His mother’s nephew’s son was one Sawada Iemitsu. They’ve met a small handful of times. Nice guy. Clearly hiding a dark edge, but Tony is in no place to judge. He has his own vices to worry about.
He was not expecting to be notified by social services that his cousin and wife passed and they left him custody of their four year old son, Sawada Tsunayoshi.
Nothing like a child in house to make Tony clean up his act. Also, Pepper, godsent. Wonderful Pepper, a raise and forty new pairs of shoes wasn’t enough to cover all the paperwork and prep and shopping required. And Rhodey? Rhodey, apparently adored kids and between him and Happy, Tony never had to worry about a babysitter.
“What if I drop him?”“You won’t drop him, Tony.”Two Weeks Later“… Did you just invent anti-gravity force field that would stop Tsuna from falling to the ground?”“I panicked, okay?!”
See Childproofing is not optional AU tag for more of this universe

My Aunt, Her Cats and Witchy Things : or : a KHR Magic AU in my hands - Part The First
(This is very AU, very much an alternate take on canon)
Nana is Namimori's resident Cat Lady. She is also a witch, and the familiars that prowl around her home are waiting for a partner. When her nephew Tsuna moves in with her it becomes apparent that the boy is the one chosen by her clowder. A dash of All27
Cat!Bianchi is Nana's familiar
Karasu Tengu!Shamal hangs around Nana's home
Hana is Nana's apprentice, and cat!Kyoko is her familiar
every familiar has a human form
ship happens... ;D
Sawada Tsuna doesn't really remember his childhood.
At only age fifteen, four seems like a lifetime ago. Another thing that seemed like a lifetime ago was his parents having a good relationship; something big happened all those years ago, to him and to his mo- to Inoue Narumi. Something that had made her snap and walk away from her marriage to Sawada Iemitsu, walk away from her hurt not-even-five year old son, walk away from her family.
Father- Iemitsu wouldn't talk about it, and even if he would, he didn't dare to. Why? His second wife. Who was a career woman. Annaliese Sinclair, who started her own fashion empire. Who refused to be a complete housewife. Who refused to settle down in Namimori, and would have rather moved back to Milan. Who refused her husband's son as her own, even after forcing Iemitsu to take her son, Basil, as his child. Who was a domineering, manipulative bitch who kept her young son on a tight leash, and her husband's balls on an even tighter leash.
So yeah, no. He was not a fan of his attempted stepmother. Nor was he a fan of his father, whom he thought had quite enough intelligence to parse that 'hey, wait a minute, maybe this isn't such a healthy relationship' but never quite did.
So here he was, a few months away from his fifteenth birthday, waving goodbye forever (probably) to his father's retreating back at the airport in Tokyo, waiting with the maternal aunt Iemitsu had never, ever mentioned to him before.
(Shimura Nana was a bit of an odd duck, putting it politely. She seemed to drift, but could still be rather serious.)
Tsuna had met his aunt for the first time ever earlier that morning, as his 'father' roused him from his fitful sleep in the car, saying "Son, I have someone I'd like for you to meet." As Tsuna blearily rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and got out of the car, he was met with the sight of a brunette lady glaring absolute death at Annaliese and Iemitsu, who were in their own little slice of paradise.
Tsuna had coughed awkwardly, still rather weirded out by the over-dramatic displays of affection, and, deciding he’d had rather enough of that, thank-you-very-much, walked over to the woman. She looked like she was in her early to mid-thirties, and had sharp, clear brown eyes. As he approached her, her gaze shifted from the sickeningly domestic couple to the young teen. Her eyes softened and she smiled, beginning to walk towards him. She stopped a good two feet in front of him, he did the same, giving the woman who looked like family the same amount of respectful distance, within arm’s reach, but distant enough.
Tsuna coughed awkwardly again, "Hi there.. I'm Sawada Tsunayoshi, please, call me Tsuna." The woman giggled at him, "Hello Tsuna, you can call me Nana. I'm your aunt, and Iemitsu," as she said the man's name, she turned and shot him another glare that could have melted iron, and continued with a derisive snort aimed at the blond lug, "- and Iemitsu wants me to be your guardian while he's off cavorting with his... woman. It's very nice to meet you Tsuna-kun, and I’m sorry for not being there for you sooner."
More notes:
Tsuna moves into Nana's place, finding it overrun by her cats, also her apprentice and her cats. And also a crow that is more than it seems- actually, that could be said for a lot of the wildlife near his Auntie Nana’s quaint little house near-ish to the woods.
Everything, surprise surprise, isn’t what it seems. It turns out Nana’s a witch, a fairly powerful and well renowned one at that. Her cat also turns into a very pretty lady that’s fairly head-over-heels for her- her name is Bianchi, she’s an apothecary whenever she isn’t a cat, and she specializes in poisons and potions.
Nana’s apprentice is an acerbic but clever young woman called Hana, who is anything but a delicate, fragile flower- she’s often seen, in her spare time, training to thwack people with her walking staff- and is learning both from Nana and from Bianchi. Her familiar is Kyoko, also a part-time cat, who is Bianchi’s main apprentice, and is learning medicine, salves and anti-poisons in addition to potions and poisons.
There’s a whole whack of other cats lurking around too- there’s Bianchi’s brother, and Kyoko’s brother, both of whom are looking for their witch to contract them to name a few, and more than a few neighbourhood strays, like the Grimalkin Reborn, (Grimalkin are werecats.); Shamal, the Karasu-Tengu that likes to hit on Bianchi; Tsuyoshi and his son, Takeshi are Lycan-folk (werewolves, but like, pretty werewolves (let me have my dumb YA supernatural-fantasy-romance shenanigans dammit)); the young Grimalkin Kyoya and his mortal enemy(/ies), the fairfolk/demon (pair) Mukuro (and Chrome).  There are many others, like the young Tanuki Enma and his little sister, Mami; jorogumo Schitt P., yuki-onna Adelaide, the kitsune Byakuran, seer-witch Yuni, centaur Dino, witch Fon and his apprentice I-Pin, and her familiar, a faun called Lambo. (It’s my fav. magic au of mine so far....)
It comes to light later, that Tsuna is prophesied to be a very powerful, very prosperous witch, and his parents felt kind of threatened, but decided to love him anyway, but then Iemitsu went and had Tsuna sealed, and Narumi (OC half-fae mama) was v. distraught at not feeling her baby boy’s magic and kinda snapped, leaving a magic block on Tsuna’s childhood b/c it was pain for all three of them to bear, especially Iemitsu who knew how just how much he fucked up- and well...
Annaliese’s son, Basil, without his parent’s knowledge, travels to Japan, in the hopes of meeting his stepbrother and finally finding family! Um, that works, but also backfires. Yep. Annaliese hires some elite ‘mooks’ to find her son and return them- that’s a strapped-for-cash!Varia- and well... hehehe it may not go so well at first, and that’s all I’m saying for now....

Bianchi has been really subtly running a sexual abuse subplot on her character - she often kills all the men she dates and has been interacting with both romance and death as punishment from such a young age that it’s what she built her entire identity on, enough to become prolific - but actually getting confirmation through chronology she was a famous femme fatale going after her partners at 14/15 is another thing altogether
and reborn was her closest companion during this period. this man was an unconscionable asshole from the manga’s outset and didn’t start a redemption until he went into the world where everyone hyperdied, but it’s so hard to comprehend how firmly his politics meshed with people like iemitsu.
think of how important it was that it was tsuna who earned rokudou “my family was hunted down and shot in the streets and they all decided to mesh even more tightly with shitty mafia politics to get themselves out of it” mukuro’s trust. reborn would have killed him, with contempt. tsuna bought the trust of every single member of that group who wasnt a serial killer
reborn’s “I thought I’d die like a dog” isn’t manly nihilism, the context reads like “that’s just.......how it works kid”. he’s spent years like this. he’s old as hell.  the reason he suddenly opted not to just die like he feels he’s meant to is because tsuna said “no it fucking isn’t”, because he wasn’t groomed into this situation. this is the same arc where reborn violently prevents iemitsu from using the same techniques he himself utilized during the daily life arc to “teach” tsuna (and implied to have used when training dino), and instead appealing to tsuna’s character and values.
in fact, the reason this series has so much integrity even though the writing is a garbage fire is because tsuna, someone who has never encountered most of these issues, has values that counteract them - he doesn’t say shit to mukuro, there is no shounen lecture, but mukuro spends a huge portion of the rest of the series putting chrome “mukuro projecting all of his insecurities onto a confused dying girl” dokuro in the hands of tsuna to the point chrome calls him on his genuine love for tsuna, she outright says it to his face, because tsuna isn’t and never has been someone who could be told about any injustice in the mafia without him reacting with genuine contempt and action. If you told sawada tsunayoshi that when bianchi was his age she was seducing adult men and no one - not even reborn - ever saw anything wrong with this he’d show up at everyone’s house to negotiate a nation-wide re-organization of the assassin circuit and make the vindice help him do it.
I think the most outstanding example of this mindset is a set of 2 events, where tsuna is told that to become the vongola boss, you need to accept the injustice of the mafia, and he, a regular 14-year-old civilian, said “are you KIDDING, this is an INFRASTRUCTURE YOU HAVE”, and threatened to destroy it with such conviction that it proved his right to be leader. it was a hype moment, to be sure
but then in the Simon arc, Tsuna goes up to Nono’s face and says “I can’t take this position, because the mafia is a garbage concept, and it directly endangers everyone around me”. Tsuna wants to crush it, and is aware that leadership is the best place to start, but he’s also aware that it’s a phenomenon that eats the people that interact with it, and this happens in the arc where a literal ghost manifestation of the mafia is trying to kill everyone and possesses the only staunchly anti-mafia character to do it. The message is pretty obvious
Maybe the ending is justified under that - nothing about tsuna has changed because even after all the things that tried to warp him as a person, he maintained the mindset that let him deny the values of the mafia and in turn change what they consider normal, and build trust through that understanding.
The series has a clear through-line in its narrative that really holds it together and is never made obvious and proves the need for “Dame-Tsuna” as its lead and that’s kind of great???

disharmony. 2/??
Nana doesn't remember much of her life before the Sato family found her.
She knows she had a different name, but Nana is what she called herself and Nana is what she became.
She knows she had another family with a mother and a father and a sister but she can't remember their names or faces.
Sometimes she'll get flashes.
A tall, broad shouldered man with a rumbling voice soothing her to sleep.
A small woman with long brown hair and a crimson smile, a talent for making stories come alive.
A hand in hers as her sister promises to protect her in a language she understands but can’t remember.
Nana comes to terms with the fact that she’ll never remember and will never find her other family again. She loves her new family. Her kaa-chan and otou-san. They might not be mama and papa but they love her all the same.
Losing kaa-chan and otou-san soon after graduating from High School almost kills her, but she perseveres, and finds a job as a waitress to pay bills and to keep herself busy.
She’s fine with drifting through life until she meets a man who can speak that language she can’t remember.
The language is Italian and the man’s name is Iemitsu.
He sweeps her off her feet. They’re married within a year, Iemitsu filling a place in her life she didn’t know was missing until he showed up.
Nana is content. She has almost everything she’s ever wanted. She has her twins, Tsu-kun and Chi-chan, she has the love of her life even if he’s off to be a star, and soon she’ll have her next child!
The labor is hard, but she does it! And soon she’ll have her baby in her arms. She follows the Sawada family tradition and names her Tsurumatsu.
When Matsu-chan opens her eyes, Nana feels her breath stutter. Matsu-chan’s eyes are red. (‘Like, nonna’s,’ a part of her whispers.)
Memories start to press against her and Nana quickly hands Matsu-chan over to a nurse as she quickly descends into a panic attack.
Here is what Nana doesn't remember: She was born Susannah Vescovi in Italy. The youngest daughter of Zeno Vescovi and Emilia Benedetti. She had an older sister named Sylvia. Her parents were negotiators for the most powerful Mafia family, the Vongola, and they were in Japan working out a deal between the Vongola and a Yakuza Clan. She doesn’t remember the deal going south, doesn’t remember the chaos that erupts. She only remembers the heat of the flames that burn her hiding place, the smell of smoke, and a sharp pain then nothingness.
Here’s what Nana doesn’t know:
Her parents searched for her frantically, tearing the city apart with no care for Omerta to look for her. They shipped her sister back to Italy immediately. The Vescovi couple is killed by Vongola enemies and Sylvia is lost to the streets of Italy.
Certain Vescovi’s had a bad habit of repressing and ignoring things that didn’t fit their worldview.
When Nana finally calms down, she does what she does best.
Represses.

Writers writting their faves as the Vongola Decimo in Tsuna's place never cease to confused me.
They actually don't get its a life-ruining thing? That the character's friends and family will be used and manipulated like lambs to slaughter? GUYS!
At least make them no having any of Timoteo/Iemitsu/Reborn's bullshit. They are fucking pathetic.
Imagine those bastards (the Guardians and Tsuna's so-called family included) learning the hard way their chosen pawn isn't a meeky little coward like their previous doormat, and he/she has loving friends and family that hate Vongola with passion and won't just roll over and obey pathetic old fucker and his pawns's orders.
Timoteo can try as he pleases, he can't get his 'heir''s good graces and the character is openly hostile and backtalks Nono and his Guardians. Depending on what Fandom (like Naruto or Bleach), they all would be painfully killed off.
Maybe Ichigo can simply let Soul Society have acess to Vongola and everything they own out of spit, let Mayuri loose after the Arcobaleno or some shit.
Reborn is mostly likely to be killed in some fandom, he's a mere human and animes are full of deity-like begins, I fucking hate this the Hitman. He is better off dead anyway.
The worthless senile old man too. Xanxus would make a good ally against Timoteo di Vongola

disharmony 3/??
Tsuna is the eldest. Chiyo might be his twin but he’s the older brother and Okaa-san said that older siblings have to protect their younger siblings!
He’s the eldest and he knows that Okaa-san isn’t okay. Sometimes he thinks Okaa-san has never been okay, but after Matsu was born it’s even more obvious. The only time Okaa-san was okay was when the blond man came, the one Okaa-san said was their Otou-san.
(Tsuna doesn’t like him. The warm feeling inside of him, the one that knows the safest way home and the one that warns him away from the weirdos in black, screamed a warning the first time Tsuna saw him. The feeling didn’t disappear until Ojii-san poked him in the head and only cold remained)
Okaa-san won’t even hold Matsu! Even when they’re crying! It’s like she can’t even see Matsu. Tsuna and Chiyo have been taking turns taking care of them but they don’t know how to take care of a baby!
Matsu and Okaa-san need help. Everyone in Namimori says if you need help to ask a Hibari, no matter how weird the request is. Namimori belongs to the Hibari and they take are of their own and all of Namimori is included in that.
Tsuna is the eldest and that means he’s the one that protects his younger siblings. Even if it means talking to scary Hibari Daichi-san, the head of the Hibari Clan. He wipes his sweaty hands on his jeans and trades a nervous look with Chiyo. She re-adjusts her hold on a thankfully snoozing Matsu and shoots him an encouraging smile.
Standing on his tiptoes, Tsuna rings the doorbell and stiffens his spine. He might not have his warmth anymore but he’ll take care of his siblings.
No matter what.

Forced Recruitment is one of everyone's fav bashing topics.
Its literally canon in KHR.
They snatch, grab, threat and use force.
They don't care about refusal and denial. Or consent.
Just like poor Tsuna as dragged kicking and screaming at gunpoint. Half of Vongola probally is not here willing either.
Vongola's the villain.

disharmony. 1/?
Canonically, Iemitsu loves Nono and loves the Vongola more than anything in the world.
But what if he doesn’t?
Iemitsu is raised by a bitter father whispering in his ear that he could take back the Vongola for their family. That Secondo stole the Vongola from Primo. That their family is watched by the Vongola and shunted into CEDEF in fear that they’ll take back what is rightfully theirs. That Iemitsu could make things right. (It isn’t said that Giotto, an irresponsible and careless person at heart, ran to the other side of the world because he was unwilling to deal with the consequences of his actions.)
Leading the Vongola becomes an obsession and Nono a means to an end.
Iemitsu follows his father’s footsteps and joins CEDEF, but he makes a vow that he’ll absolutely destroy Secondo’s line. He’ll be the man behind the throne, the whisper in Nono’s ear. It’ll be easy, Timoteo already dotes upon his nephew, Iemitsu, after all.
Iemitsu resents Nono’s sons, the rightful heirs of the family, undermines them at every turn. But he seethes with hatred over Xanxus, another rightful heir but one who looks so much like Ricardo that Iemitsu declares him an enemy from the second Nono brings the brat home.
His plans start to bear fruit. He’s the leader of CEDEF and a trusted advisor to Nono. He’s met and married a naïve civilian woman named Nana who’s content to stay in Japan (out of the way) and they already have a child on the way. His mistress in Italy is also with child, a perfect guardian to his future son.
The mistress gives birth first. She doesn’t survive, but the baby does. Iemitsu names him Silvio then places him in a Vongola-controlled orphanage. He’ll come back when he’s older and train him.
When Nana’s child is born, they keep with tradition and name him Tsunayoshi. Iemitsu doesn’t expect the twin. A girl, the first one born in the Sawada line. (He doesn’t think about Aurora Grimaldi, Giotto’s firstborn that he left in Italy when he ran. She doesn’t count.) They name her Chiyohime.
The children grow.
Nono’s sons are killed off one by one until only Xanxus is left.
Tsunayoshi proves he’s a Sky. (It doesn’t take too many hints before Nono is sealing Tsunayoshi. ‘He’ll be easier to control if doesn’t have his flames until later,’ Iemitsu thinks. He’s so, so wrong.) Silvio is brought into CEDEF and renamed Basil after he proves he’s a Rain. He’ll be the perfect guardian to Tsunayoshi.
Iemitsu doesn’t expect the Cradle Affair, doesn’t expect the coup d'etat attempt. He’s torn between fury that Nono froze Xanxus instead of killing him and glee that he’s frozen, locked in the basement and forgotten.
Iemitsu is so gleeful about Xanxus being frozen that he accidentally sires another child with Nana, one he never meets before he’s “off to be star”. The child is named Tsurumatsu. They’re born with Nana’s birth grandmother’s bright red eyes.
There were things about Nana that Iemitsu didn’t know.

Vongola think they have the right to dictate people's lives just because of their blood and flames.
To hijacked their good, long and peaceful civilian lifestyles because they think those people own them something.
Planning their estudies and future.
They don't about their autonomy as people or any consent.
Vongola Nono is a senile manipulative old geezer, not a kind old man.
