I think one of the most valuable things I got out of my English degree is the ability to distill a longer text into a sentence or two of their base argument/assertion. It helps me a lot to be able to decide if I agree or not with a person without being distracted by the sentiment/roundabout way they phrase something that might make it sound better than it actually is. I don't ship BoruSumi

Just because I ship MitsuSara doesn't mean I ship BoruSumi. I despise BoruSumi, and I despise Sumire more.

Sumire is just a filler character created by SP just for the sake of force-highlighting Boruto of his existence as a protagonist and it is entirely dim compared to Sarada. Yes, Sarada should have been the main character. Sakura's strength & great chakra control, her struggles as an Uchiha (which is the clan that is the most judged, scrutinized, and fucked up by the elders & other fellow villagers), and Naruto's dream of becoming a Hokage. Sarada is the embodiment of Team 7 and the best ninja to inherit the Will of Fire.

Compare that to Boruto who despises the Hokage, despises the idea of becoming Hokage, and just a brat who runs around hating the fact that his father is the Hokage and doing Hokage stuff (when being the Hokage is the position Naruto had dreamed and dedicated his life for). It simply defies Naruto's original "Ninja Way".

So to make Boruto seem more important, SP just added a filler character to highlight it the hell out of him. But still, it is way far off than Sarada's importance and total existence.

And the most despised thing I despise is that Sumire is somewhat Hinata 2.0 with stolen character, personality, & backstory of Sasuke. Add it also the fact that even though she's a filler, she is related to Danzo, (which is my most hated character next to the attempt SP-character-change of Hinata w/ stolen Sakura's personality & abilities).

So yeah, get the hell out of BoruSumi far, far away from me.

I find the idea that "men take up as much space as possible" fascinating because is almost as if you all walk around being critical of someone else's actions/mannerisms. It's almost as if you are looking for something that men do so you can have another thing to get pissed off about. I genuinely cannot wrap my mind around focusing on literally everyone's actions in your immediate surroundings, especially when you look for something to be mad at.

Women take up excess space as well! Such as placing purses or bags in open seats on busses, trains, cars, in houses, etc, whereas another person could be using that seat. Crossing legs even takes up quite a bit of space as well. I'm not even saying that all women do this, because I think generalizing a whole group of people is counterintuitive (but I'm really just showing your hypocrisy right now) but it's still something that happens from time to time and one could find it, I don't know, a n n o y i n g.

And I'm talking to all the radfems in the land when I say that manspreading isn't a legitimate issue to complain about. Cis males have testicles located on the outside of the body to prevent infertility due to overheating. They are outside the male body for 👏 a 👏 fucking 👏 reason 👏. It's is EXTREMELY uncomfortable for a man to cross his legs given his anatomy, and it is cruel to expect a man, really anyone for that matter, to sit in a manner that is potentially harmful to ones anatomy, and I'm 110% fucking sure that if the tables were turned and women had sexual organs on the outside of their bodies, they would fucking "manspread" too.

Expecting an entire group of people to act in accordance to your ideals and expectations is not only immature as FUCK considering that you all seem to focus on what everyone else is doing with their bodies, it's especially irritating when you're hellbent on policing what people can and cannot do/say based upon your ideology, yet you give no thought to the "unacceptable" mannerisms that you thoughtlessly exude on a daily basis. I have a laundry list of blogs in the HxH fandom who are participating in an active harrassment campaign against two or three individuals, with a focus on one person in particular who I will not name for their privacy.

This group of individuals have made repeated posts SINCE FEBRUARY calling a fic author and an artist disgusting, freaks, pedophiles, and everything under the fucking sun. They have made TWO SEPARATE ACCOUNTS which claim to be one of the people in question and post disgusting shit. One person in particular has become a running joke in their community, and this person has received suicide baiting messages and the core perpetrators of the harrassment campaign in question have asked MULTIPLE times for others to tag the people in question because they have been blocked by the people they are attacking.

These people have zero empathy or compassion, and they've already forced one person to deactivate over aged-up fics and art.

If necessary, I'll compile an album of the screenshots I've taken and links to the posts in question, but for now DM me for a list of the most egregious offenders.

So, because my work is being unfairly targeted at work, I always begin my mornings to check my log and see where any of the units went that 1st shift may have gotten their hands on after I leave for the day. I left one unit in the oven thursday morning to find that it hadnt yet moved from that same queue when I returned for my friday shift. So, I found it and looked it over with both my cell leader and the 2nd shift cell leader.

I... may have gotten more than a little angry.

Their suggestion was to take it to engineering in the morning and then write up an email based on the engineers findings. I did just that. Out all the arrows on the unit the engineer asked me to fix just 2. We talked about the rest, but ultimately they were nondefects.

I wrote up a very good email, short, to the point, and professional. The unit was to continue processing. I addressed it to my supervisor, the night shift supervisor, and all three cell leaders. And then I touched up the unit to comply with the engineers findings and I left.

=DDD i got a call from a work friend this morning telling me that I will be DELIGHTED to read the responses to my email when I came in tonight. At some point my supervisor added another person, and the engineer also got added to the list.... And the 1st shift cell leader got down right asinine in response. Apparently, so work friend said, he'd be surprised if the engineer himself didnt take her to HR over it. Also my cell leader was pissed.

He is correct. I am delighted. The whole thing is getting added to the file I am writing up to take to HR along with said work friend and others. And there are so many witnesses!

He did tell me to eat breakfast before I came, though, because none of it is nice and I am known for having 0 chill on a good day.
