7+ Most Detailed Sims 4 Save Files

I rounded up some of my favorite save files for you guys!

Each one of these saves features REALISTIC & IMPRESSIVE BUILDS, INSANE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND EVEN BRAND NEW GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCES!

There is a save file for the Sims 4 Decades Challenge, a Zombie Apocalypse Save File, a save file that makes incredible use of the TOOL mod to make the worlds feel brand new + more!

Hi! I downloaded your very cool Antiquated Brindleton content and I am not having success with the save file for Brindleton Bay. I can see the custom content for Build, Buy, Clothing and Hair in the Mods folder and then I save the save file in the saves folder within Sims4. I tried clearing the cache and that did not help. Do you have any troubleshooting tips?

Hi! I'm sorry that you're struggling with installation!

I'm not exactly sure what your issue is. I'm going to just go over the installation steps here to see if we can figure it out.

You download the five zip folders from SFS or Google Drive.

You unzip the five zip folders once they are in your downloads location.

You move the four custom content folders, or their contents, to your mods folder.

You remove the file from inside the AB_SaveFile folder and place ONLY the file (Slot_00002023.save) inside your saves folder. The saves folder is located inside the same Sims 4 folder your mods folder is.

You load up the game, click the button Load Game, and you scroll until you find the save titled Antiquated Brindleton, click load save, and then choose Brindleton Bay from the world select screen.

At that point you should be good to go. Some common issues can be that you already have a save file with the same numbers, I tried to choose a suitably high one that people wouldn't be likely to, but it's possible. Does it work if you remove your other saves from your save file? (backed up somewhere safe, of course) I've also had save files that include worlds I don't own give me a warning message when I try to load them, but AB doesn't have anything in those worlds so it shouldn't hurt your game or anything like that, you can just click past any warnings.

Hello! I'm Coco. Aaaaand welcome to my new simblr, I guess???? I hate introducing myself as I never know what to write, so I decided to just combine it with a "proper" post. I've always loved the decades challenge, and have actually completed it once on my own (only legacy challenge I've ever actually completed after 10 years of playing the sims lol) So I've decided to do it again :) I'm really excited to do this with a lot more focus on the story, so I hope it works out!!! Oh yeah - and these are supposed to be the actual Landgraab ancestors. Obviously completely fictional from my brain. The plan is to play them up until the current Landgraabs. The Osborne's received a visit from their new neighbours in which they brought over a fruitcake that they claimed was their family heirloom.

Charlotte was particularly fond of Anne Miller who radiated a warm and motherly presence that put any anxieties at ease although the fruitcake didn't have the best taste!

While tending to the chickens Charlotte noticed that her clothes were fitting her more tightly lately, she soon found out that she was expecting a baby.

I am uncertain of how to start this letter. So I'll simply begin with my recent feelings. I am very grateful for the love I've received from my parents. I would have spent my whole life trying to repay them somehow, but fate had its own plans. My name is Fable Flickwick. Growing up, I was a sickly child. I would have never expected at the age of 9 to be adopted by two of the most lovely people you would have ever met. They loved me despite my fragile nature, and their help and encouragement probably saved my life more times than I would like to admit. With their sudden passing, I find myself more lonely than I ever thought possible. I'm doing my best to keep my mother's antique shop afloat, as I love that old shop. But I've been feeling doubtful of my capabilities to do so on my own. I didn't realize how physically taxing the job would be. I'm rambling, I know. That's enough of my story of woe, I suppose... What else should I say? I am 24. My favorite pass time is photography. I had originally intended to make it a career, but I was always too busy helping mom at the shop to take it seriously. I am healthier than I was as a child, so don't worry about that! I can at least take care of myself despite my appearance... I grew up in Brindleton Bay by the coast, and the shop is right beside the docks. It is quant and quiet here but sometimes I think I need to get away from it all. I understand that you have a farm? I would love to know more about it and what you do there. I'm sure I have over romanticized it in my head, haha... I could rewrite this letter a thousand times and still not be confident in it, so I hope you will accept it as is. Messy but hopeful. Yours, Fable♡

My old computer couldn't even save it after 6 hours of trying. But with new computer it took like 5 minutes max to do so with fully filled rooms (just shops, no apartments, of no one would survive here, lol).

The Forgotten Homestead, AKA the Brindleton Deane cabin 1898

"Charlie ..." A voice chuckled affectionately, subtle pink flushing on her face. Charlotte continued to kiss the girl on every digit she had to offer, stubbornly confident with her plan to make her the shade of beetroot. The girl stood up and walked away from Charlotte's romantic mischief.

... But to no avail would Charlotte stop showering her with intimacy.

"Diana?" Charlotte whispered, burying her neck into her blouse.

"You know," Diana (Bellefleur) began, "I thought I'd be alone forever. I was content with that."

Charlotte mumbled out a 'me too' before reaching for Diana's open neck, planting small kisses up and down before the girl she longed for walked away again in a teasing manner.

"Truly, Char. You're the only one I can stand being around ... Everyone else ... Well, it's different. They're different."

Charlotte smiled at her lover, "The only one you can stand, huh?"

" ... So you tolerate me?" She put on a fake saddened expression and recieved an amused scoff from the other, taking Diana's hands and holding them in her grasp.

"I like tolerating you." Diana uttered flirtaciously.

"Oh, really?" Charlotte stared into Diana's deep grey eyes - Though the latter wasn't a fan of them, Charlotte never failed to get lost in their whirpool of muted dark shades.

"I think what we do is a lot more than toleration." Whispered the brunette. Diana stayed silent, comfortable in the mere presence of Charlotte close to her.

After minutes of content silence, Diana spoke up, sighing happily.

"You make a good point. I don't tolerate you, Charlotte."

"I love you."

Charlotte threw Diana onto the bed in response, desperate for the intimacy of the one she'd been waiting for for years. The one she, in a matter of fact, didn't find rescuing her from a tall tower or from an evil witch, dressed up in silver armour; a prince. No, she found her princess through delicately written and intricate ladies magazines on the art of flower arranging, residing in the town of Brindleton Bay, and immediately comitted herself to her (and the seven cats she owned) despite her initial intention on attempting to take up the casual hobby.

And she was happy. They both were - though hidden, sheltered under the wooden roofs within their vast forest. Despite what the public would've thought about the nature of their love, it hadn't come as a bother to them. They loved and they lived happily, surrounded by flowers and sunny skies, cats and empty crowds, but most importantly: each other.

SIMTLEMAN'S GOING FOR IT: A 1920s, '30s & '40s save file (work in progress)

Here's the thing: like many of you simblrs, I only play with historical sims (being the 1920s, '30s & '40s the eras I mainly focus on... because I LIVE for that aesthetic). However, it's almost impossible to find decent historical save files to play with (except @antiquatedplumbobs's "Antiquated Brindleton", which is AMAZINGLY well done but it's set in the 1890s and that's not my vibe, really), so I got fed up and finally decided to go for it: I'm creating my own save file from scratch, damn it! Yes, you heard me.

As you can see, my first build is going to be an hotel CLEARLY inspired by the infamous Hotel Cortez from American Horror Story: Hotel, which at the same time is inspired by the terrifying yet fascinating real life Cecil Hotel. I am a sucker for art deco, always have and always will... so I've tried to go for that sort of mood: pure, rectangular lines, geometrical flooring/carpeting and gold... lots of gold.

So far I've done the lobby which you can see above, a library/smoking room and the bar (which I might be changing to a different location within the building and hiding it behind a secret door in the library since, you know, Prohibition was a thing in the '20s):

I'm also finished with the smaller rooms in the first floor, though I still feel they're missing something. I'm a maximalist and they sort of feel too empty for me, but then again that's what usually happens with hotel rooms, right?

I'd love to hear your thoughts, you beautiful old sports (see what I did there? Please tell me you got the reference)! Tell me what ya think and what other rooms/builds I should go for next, I'm open to putting my creativity to the service of your ideas! :)

And before you ask, as far as making this save file public and downloadable in the future... I'm not so sure, the only reason being it is so heavily CC based I wouldn't even know where to begin listing all the items I'm using. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a program that identifies and lists all the CC items you've used in a lot? Just saying!

Anyways, hope you guys like it and we shall see what this crazy project ends up looking like lol

I was tagged by @agena87 and @eljeebee- both cool moots. Agena87 has been doing some super interesting stuff in Blender, along with creative edits that deserve a lot of appreciation. Lana is a newer moot who shares similar obsessions beyond the Sims (**cough cough**Mass Effect**) and finds the most interesting content to post- I always discover new things over at her simblr. Your aspiration: Friend of the World. But that will be hard. Since I am somewhat socially inept AAAAND lazy.

In-game world you'd live in: Ok, NOT Forgotten Hollow. Shocking, I KNOW. Unless it was a really cool build. It's so small. Not enough for me. I like Brindleton Bay because I love the sea. Or Sulani/Selvadorada. That would be kickass and both worlds remind me of where I grew up.

Favorite townie(s): Or premade? Morgyn Ember, Caleb Vatore, Lilith Vatore, Simon Silversweater, L. Faba...AND Straud (post CAS). (AND LOU! OMG, I almost forgot my pupper!)

Most used pack(s): Vampiiiiiiiires. Country kitchen kit. And Supernatural.

Favorite decor object: The bookshelves by Strange Storyteller Sims always make it into my builds. A lot of stuff by Lili's Palace too. I love modern/contemporary builds but I end up doing these builds filled with antiques and frankly it pisses me off a little that I can't be more versatile and keep going for the same old when there is so much choice.

Something you want in the game: A storyteller mode where I can toggle day/night, seasons and other goodies without having to download a bajillion mods. Or getting rid of item slots on surfaces so I can clutter without OMSP or the TOOL mod BECAUSE I AM LAZY and I get tired of decorating if I need a math degree to move something 500 times.

What color is your plumbob right now? Chartreuse!
