ughhhh an Avenger class is a class of their own where not many humans- barely anyone would be able to handle them as they are impossible and incompatible with pan human history and so are one of the hardest to handle. to even be able to summon an Extra class outside of the seven accepted seats is a feat on its own but to form a bond and a strong one at that is a different thing entirely. to gain comforting words from Avengers that eternally burn with vengeance and hatred, to gain companionship and trust from Avengers mercilessly crushed and betrayed by the world, deemed as threats for their retaliation, hunted down as beasts and chased out of their homes with their loved ones killed, those who have also died alone, suffering from such a painful betrayal even when they themselves were faithfull all the way to the end. to gain an Avenger's love and loyalty, weapons that howl and cry and knows unfathomable pain and sorrow, a Class that never forgets, grudges and hatred in which are ingrained into their very existence yet love and compassion is what allows them to persist and keep on burning. as summoning such flames means you yourself are far more removed from "humanity" than anyone else.

anyway salieri rocks white-red-black palette the best so I kinda wanted to keep it but reversing it a little

also entire look is still inspired by all his ascensions and some additional official art lmao

so imagine him not only conduct during his attacks but also using his voice (since u know salieri was also famous for his extremely good voice)

ughh ordeal call 2 is painful... its so painful for me to think about but the illustrations i get to see absolutely takes my breath away.

but i want to talk about this one today.... the way mash and guda runs with twin stars below moving on ahead, the pedestrian stoplight being set to a stop for the Avengers as they proudly look on ahead... its just beautiful.... i like the detail on the top right where there's a glint of light- a star representing the starting point in which reminds you of "part 1" events.... but you could also interpret it that light as the Avengers themselves, in guda and mash's shadow as evident by them being reflected below.

Not only do they stay behind- "This is as far as I go with you." as a feeling on their side... but its also at the same time that feels like a "push on the back" as they see those hopeful stargazers reach heights far beyond them and more...

what absolutely crushes my heart further is the fact that they are illustrated "on the other side".

the puddles you see in streets after a rain- after such a gray sky gives me a feeling of ache and love... because you remember that these are nothing more than people and creatures made of "ether"- ultimately ghosts, fragments and spirits given existence and form by someone who is living... and only those who are alive are able to forge a path on ahead, are only those who have the right to "move forward".

what's more... "Beyond the Gray Sky" lyrics as well as the CM is really just prominent here...its just too much... the fact that the setting is from Id but nonetheless modern Tokyo doesn't help ughh im just noticing too that guda and mash are at a blue sky meanwhile the sky of the Avenger's are grey/similar to the sky of guda's trash heap where its dark but it allowed a star to be so radiant and dazzling before their eyes that they all cant help but look at them so fondly, so softly...

Avengers born of love yet speaks of hate, born of hate yet speaks of love, those whose privilege is to hold onto the past and never let go, these souls with the curse and blessing to never forget no matter their materialization, they who have loathed so profoundly, had also loved, had gotten loved and accepted in this life where they met "that person"....one who has given them happiness, given them such a sweet dream- to these flames born and perceived to be twisted, vile and detestable by the world but were also companions who were the kindest, the most compassionate of all in this story of love and hope...
