the light of my life, the pookiest of ships-- they should be top 2 ships ever written if you guys had the vision ( i kid i kid please dont anyone perceive them). but no i love them. i stand by the fact that max is top 3 of people on the grid george has naturally chemistry and banter with (lando and alex are the other 2). like all of their conversations just floooow and aren't at all awkward bc they play off each other well. and i love that inherent chemistry!

outside of that, i do think they are by far the biggest f1 nerds of the younger guys and are the ones who like really enjoy the history and the technical side of the sport. so i think they could yap at each other about that all day. i also think they both have similar mindsets about driving (and really are just more similar than people realize). i also think max has a load of respect for george and while george gets painted in fandom as sort of this wilting pathetic flower, i think max recognizes he has an iron steelyness to him. and max respects that.

i have said before on this blog my perfect romances are ones that take an austen approach to love (meaning they help one conceptualize the self more than anything) and i think gax could do that quite well. bc their similarities also highlight their differences! like max helping george get over his whole "obsessively cares what other people think" thing and george helping max with his whole "does not care at all about what others think" thing. there is a balance to be found there!

also the narratives are great... the fight in baku and max being weirdly obsessed with hanging out with george in monaco (vs george continuously ghosting him). max calling him a princess (how do i not have 50k of princess kink on my desk???). and my favorite thing which was after baku when max was like "Yeah george he always very good at explaining" it was such a: "this fucking dude and his fucking eloquence, he always wants to talk his way to victory blech." While Max does not want to talk, he wants to force his way. That's soooo compelling.

Honestly you could do a lot with their different communication styles and how they're both talkers but George is an over-communicater, extremely focused on feelings and such, while Max is just blunt and to the point. I need to see them talk to each other for hours on end, it would fix me.

i've seen a lot of dp fans in the dpxdc fandom talk about not having access to comics so here. it's completely free, good quality scans (for most things), basically any dc comic you could want is there. you should have an adblocker but the ads aren't the worst if you don't, just noticeable and annoying. you're not gonna get a virus, i've been using the site for years, as have many other fans.

if you genuinely want to read the comics, take advantage of the sites comic fans have been using. there's new and old stuff and everything in between. crossovers too. whatever you want to read, you'll find there.

sorry I’ve been on such a Dabi high lately but I almost croaked earlier at the thought of being his college gf and just being so opposite of each other!!!!!! you’re all good grades and perfect attendance, easily approachable and sweet smiles. and he’s all grumpy faced and dark clothing, makes people nervous whenever he stands outside smoking right by the doors.

who the hell would’ve thought you two would end up together? it just didn’t make a lick of sense seeing you two from the outside. but when they get a glimpse of you guys together, alone, everything just falls into place.

he’s so supportive of everything you do, no matter how dumb or nerdy he thinks it is. he keeps count of your stitches for you when you crotchet, doesn’t mind being your model for a cropped hot pink sweater you’re creating, wears the knitted beanie around campus that you made for him. he hates not having your attention but he takes some of the same classes you take so that he can help you study, quiz you when you’re not too sure of the subject, maybe even help you cheat if you want (you don’t, but he always offers).

he buys you your favorite drink at the cafes and always carries an extra laptop charger in case you forget. he helps you pick out your outfits when you’re unsure, and loves the opposite aesthetic whenever you stand hand in hand with him. he praises you when you succeed, and comforts you with your failures. he looks like a dirtbag that hangs around campus to be a creepy bum, but he’s there for you through and through <3

on one hand i think it should be mostly games with Actual intentional lgbt rep and themes being tagged as lgbt because tagging a bunch of random games as that makes it harder for people wanting representation to find what they're looking for. and ive also seen a lot of people who dont know how steam tags work spreading misinformation or getting their hopes up for nothing because of people tagging random games as lgbt . but on the other hand i think every new sonic game that comes out being tagged as lgbt on steam is hilarious . sonic lgbt icon forever

I'm gonna be honest, that aimsey response isn't enough for me. It comes off as deflecting rather than taking the responsibility of having a large platform requires. This rhetoric hurts real people, and as usual these days, trans people are always the center of it. I am very tired of pretending that this rhetoric has anything to do with lesbian spaces. Genuinely so curious who Mike thinks is gonna be buying The Cage or the new DCTL GN bc with the way he tweets as far as he's concerned, it's not gonna be:

The queer people he has actively admitted he will never show any representation of in the games.

2. The POC he has actively fought against representing in his franchise. [Who he also mocked for thinking they would be represented in his franchise]

3. The Bendy fandom which has always been concerned with topics of diversity esp in the sense of queer people since its creation. Who he has responded to really poorly esp in regards to the GN.

4. The fans who critique him. [He blocked me for doing so lol]

5. His fans in general who he tweets about like this currently. [He's being vague about why people were mad at him or sent him 'nasty messages' because if you actually looked into why you'd see he was in the wrong. Either way, a very hateful way to speak abt ur own fanbase.]

Reminder while Mike is trash talking his fans he has always treated them rather poorly. The fans who won the fanart contest for Chapter 5 never got their posters actually in game due to it being rushed. Not only was chapter 5 a big slap to the face story wise, but it was literally so rushed he couldn't be bothered to add in the art his fans gave him for his game FOR FREE. [Meatly blames this on a crazy timeline, reminder him and Mike are the literal ceos of this company. The proposal of future updates here is also pretty cruel considering Mike nowadays happily admits he corrupted Chapter 5's source code and therefore literally can't update it At All currently. Because he is a moron]

At least they got to be in Boris and the dark survival, and by that I mean that was the Only game they got to be in so far, isn't that just treating your fans like you love them? Shoving their hard work into a spin off game almost nobody has played or addresses much. [Hell, who knows if with the Lone Wolf rebrand they'll even stay there. In which case they'll be in None of the games, only in the credits of BATIM]

6. The Bendy fans who just generally disagree with him on stuff. Like the new ink demon design where there is literally a public poll showing people generally prefer the old one.

7. The Bendy fans who can see he is actively lying to them. To their fucking faces.

He says this has always been the case, but screenshots and links to tweets regarding the books being canon prove it was not. Does he really think bendy fans are stupid or something? [Unless he's admitting here he lied to Kress when he told her the books were canon which sounds worse!]

8. Anyone who doesn't like the idea of giving money to a guy who laid off tons of employees then afterwards thought it was a great idea to express his anti-union views! Also brag about how good of an employer he was, according to his employees, he was not!

So in summary; Mike is an awful person who has not learned anything from the awful things he did. I will not be purchasing The Cage because, combined with this and his absolute refusal to take any kind of critique or see any differing interpretation of his franchise, I have no reason to think my problems with the franchise will ever be addressed or fixed. I probably will pirate The Cage along with any future Bendy Products [Including the movie] and will do my best to avoid giving it any kind of monetary support. Unless this changes any time soon, I can't see myself making anymore positive Bendy posts soon.

Mike has just managed to make it so hard to speak positively or optimistically of this franchise when he's so willing to broadcast how little he cares about it or its fans. I'm at the point where I refuse to pull any of my punches with my problems with it. What's the point of trying to play nice with my critique when either way the people creating it don't care?

So with this post, I want to invite anyone who feels similarly about the franchise to tell me, make a post or send an ask talking about how all of this makes you feel. It may not change how things are, but genuinely seeing other people share my feelings of anger makes me feel better. It feels nice to see when other people share our same concerns and worries. I'd also love to know if anyone else thinks they'll be avoiding purchasing Bendy products over this.

I'm not forcing anyone to participate in it nor trying to say anyone who doesn't supports mike but genuinely maybe if we can collectively decide to boycott things like the movie, graphic novel and The Cage... It might at least make the bendy devs acknowledge how much they have destroyed their own fandom's faith and trust in them.

The way Mike tweets about his actions like he had no control over why people were mad at him at least proves to me he takes NONE of it back nor regrets it. If you didn't know about his actions and only went off his tweets, you would be led to believe Mike has been needlessly picked apart by fans over things he couldn't control [or in his own words, had his words twisted and taken out of context]. That is not how you speak about your actions if you have actually learned better from them.

anyway, that has been my bendy dev callout post. This is an open invitation to anyone feeling similarly upset about the way the franchise is going to talk about it. It's genuinely nice to see how people feel about this and the more we talk about the more it's likely the bendy devs are forced to address our concerns. I don't think they will but hey, that's why I'm not gonna support them with my money anymore nor am I gonna be nice to them in any content I make critiquing Bendy. I mean I'm also basically making this post just in case anyone asks me Why I feel this way towards to bendy devs/as a way to respond to anyone who thinks I am too harsh in my critique in the future.

As always, it seems the best part of Bendy isn't actually anything about canon but about what the fan's are creating with the ideas Bendy failed to do anything interesting with.

Also the books, the books slap.

why does it seem so impossible for theory people .. or any people really to even consider that rauru isnt the firstest of the first kings of hyrule, its been remade so many times already and the 'forgotten era of myth' might as well have included hyrule being forgotten; instead its always messing with the old titles and timeline and im so TIRED

Most of my ocs dont have set sexualities? Except for the aspecs but thats becuase theyre important to me personally. Eliza is a canon set lesbian, Stasia is definitely wlw, and Trycz is aroace and a lesbian

In the lore, Eliza is the oldest alive member of the Kowalewicz family (shes a bit over 50) and the owner of the manor. Stanisława is an aspiring author (she writes and illustrates books for children) with little success, currently under Elizas years old... "patronage". She lost her child and has been miserable for the majority of her life. She has been living in the manor for years and is esentially Elas right hand, as well as the main person taking care of the manor durning Elas travels. Trycz on the other hand is a daughter of one of Elas friends; she and her dad come to visit between spring and summer and stay there for a little bit. Every dns character is connected by loneliness and shes no exception - her story in the manor revolves around loneliness from the lack of a community. How hard it is to find people who not only dont want to hurt you, but also are similar to you, and how that loneliness can change you. Shes very similar to Nika in a way and she befriends Ryba later on (theyre both jewish and queer in an 1890s setting so its obvious theyre going to connect on that).
