I enjoyed the Last Voyage of the Demeter in a…it didn’t do anything more than I was expecting and was formulaic and wasn’t particularly fresh but had good vibes and satisfied my craving for Bad Supernatural Things Happen On A Ship media of which there is a dearth in film/tv…kinda way. It was entertaining and was the kinda movie that I’d like, pop on for funsies in the afternoon sometimes. But also just kinda made me wish that there were more original stories of Horror On Ships. WHY is it such an underutilized setting? Wild to me!
