Also I am. Constantly forgetting how fucking funny Hunter is. We never give him enough credit for how funny he is because his life is so fucked up but I swear 90% of his lines are just bit after bit after bit. He's not even trying either. Anytime he actively tries to make a joke it falls flat but if you just put him in a Scenario he'll find a way to be so over invested and yet out of touch/at odds with whatever's going on. Just curious what the average level of personal investment in these sorts of things is. Like, how much do people usually get into silly stuff like this their friends ask of them? etc. etc. Which I know, only surveying a small sample on a very specific website means I'm not getting an exact average idea lol, but.. curious nonetheless .. Maybe reblog for bigger sample size but also this is not very serious at all/not worth a call to action gbhjbhjb

#which I know this could be context dependent like.. maybe you'd normally dress up but on a week that #you feel sick you wouldn't or etc. etc. - but I mean.. GENERALLY. in the most general average scenario #where you have the average amount of health and free time that you always do. etc. just based on your personality #and level of investment in these things - what on AVERAGE are you most inclined to do #also of course assume they communicate with you ahead of time and are not like planning a part last minute #like 'throw together costume in 5 hours and show up tonight randomly' or etc. I would hope that if we're going with the #AVERAGE of things - most people's friends have better communication skills than springing entire parties #on people last minute lol #assume you have like.. a few days-a week or so to prepare. however ealrly people usually start talking about #birthdays. In my experience it's usually one or two weeks ahead of time. one thing i've just been noticing abt ivory's videos is just. the idea of proving yourself, despite all of the odds against you. if its fighting a 100 wardens or killing god, there's always something to be proven. it's proving that you are capable of accomplishing anything, and you'll do so in a heartbeat.

and that, of course, builds a reputation, right? everyone knows ivory! and she's built a very intense reputation for herself, and she's pretty much feared on every single smp shes on

but with that reputation...you're pressured to keep it up. you're forced to go onto the next big thing. to prove that you can accomplish anything in a heartbeat.

so you do the same things over and over again, ramping up the stakes without taking a minute to calm down and breathe

but maybe, there's a small part of you that begs you to stop. to slow down, take a moment for yourself, and take a moment to look back at everything. just to rest

but.

you have a reputation to uphold. even as part of you screams at you and forces you to put in the breaks, the only thing on your mind is to keep on going. to prove you can do what you've set your mind to, and what you've worked so hard for.

(but in the end, it barely feels like anything before you turn away and look for the next accomplishment to complete, because you've killed off the part that forces you to step back and question what you're doing.)

why do baby otohan’s colors look like fuckign TOOTHPASTE in this version 😭😭😭

There's just something about Wyll's final quest in Act 3 and its parallels, especially if you're romancing him. The way he can immediately be given the mantle "The Heart of the Gate". The way he immediately asks you to remain at his side, the way he says he's proud of Tav, the way he calls them a shining star and a beacon.

A shining star...like sailors used to navigate. A beacon, surely like the founder of a port city. And Tav isn't a founder, but they're becoming the next best thing...a savior, enabled in large part due to the help of the one inside their head.

Just...damn. History doesn't always repeat exactly, but it does echo. It reverberates until it can harmonize with itself.

pretty sure i just got a spider bite while trying to fall asleep 🧍

#i thought it was just a stray hair on my elbow under the blanket and kept trying to shake it off #and then i finally went to brush it off w my hand and felt a bump there #and then it was unbearably itchy so i turned the lamp on to apply some anti-itch stuff bc it was driving me nuts #and i was trying to see where it was on my elbow bc wtf when did i get bit #and then i looked at it and it was very pale like a fresh bite and then there was some skin torn like a spider bite #i cant tell if theres two little holes or not and honestly idk if spiders always leave two fang marks fjdkdl #but it doesnt look like a mosquito bite unless i tore the skin myself from scratching at it #but the way it is looking... very similar to past spider bites #anyways i just removed everything from my bed and methodically searched Everything. looked all around the bed too. cannot find a spider #so. shrug. <- actually very afraid #but the thing that makes me Really think it's a spider is that the bump was super pale and now after a little while it is regular skintone #so that makes me think it was a brand new fresh bite the way it was a different colour and now its normal looking #which is uhhh scary! to have had a spider possibly in my bed!#and I can't find it so i simply do not Know and that is going to make it so hard to sleep tonight fjfkdl #man i barely ate today too so im just... really not doing well at this very moment fjfkdl #i cant eat anything rn though bc i already brushed my teeth and i dont want to do that again tonight fjfkdl #but i am. so hungry. augh. idk what I'd even eat anyways im too anxious to stomach anything #WHERE IS THIS SPIDER.
