~ Future BuckTommy Grocery Shopping ~
A store worker: Umm, sir? Excuse me, is that your child on the floor over there?
*Buck looks over to where their 2yr old daughter is crying face down*
Buck: Yeah.
Store worker *stunned*: Okay? Can you pick her up? Cause she's disturbing the other customers.
Tommy: We're so sorry! Evan, can you grab her?
Buck: Of course, cause I actually love her!
Tommy *feeling guilty*: Look, I know the candle smelt like chocolate cake but she can't eat it! That's all I said, she can't eat a candle!
Buck *picking up a limp, tearful toddler*: Okay, spoil sport 🙄

bucktommy + shopping clothes together + "how does my ass look in these?"
Tommy sat in the little seating area opposite the store's changing room, scrolling on his phone, patiently waiting for his boyfriend to finish trying on the new jeans he so desperately needed. He had obviously been working on his squats, evident by the tear he made when bending over to put a dish in the dishwasher.
Soon enough, Buck walked out and stood in front of the older man, hands on hips, "What do ya think?"
As Tommy looked up from his phone screen, he was greeted with strong, long legs wrapped in denim, a tight fit around his thighs. His eyes travelled down to see the fabric flare out, he couldn't help the laugh that escaped his mouth. "I do not remember you picking those up."
"They were left in there by the guy before me, lucky they are in my size, huh?" He smiled wide, loving how they make him look.
Tommy puts his phone in his pocket and leans forward in his seat, one hand reaching for Buck's hip, "Are bell bottoms back in fashion?"
Buck stepped back, making Tommy's hand fall away, "Who cares, check out this bell bottom," he swivelled around to give Tommy the view he deserves and looked over his shoulder, "how does my ass look in these?"
All Tommy could do was fall back laughing, nose scrunching and crows feet visible, he really does love his boyfriend's antics, "It looks great, Evan."
Recovering from his laughter, the pilot eyed the rest of his outfit, "However, if you're keeping them you need to get some better matching shoes and shirt."
Looking offended, Buck raised his foot, "What's wrong with my sneakers?"
Tommy raised an eyebrow at him, "They're white for one, and cowboy boots would go so much better."
Buck's smile grew, "Oh, I'm definitely keeping these now."

Buck cocoons himself in the bed sheets, wrapping them tightly around him. He has a shift today and he doesn't want to go.
It's just his luck that strong hands pry the covers from his grasp and throws them off of him.
"Come on, time to get up." Tommy's standing over him, already half dressed.
Buck groans, "No."
"Look, I know Gerrard is an ass, I've been there," he sits next to Buck on the bed, "but you need to go to work, it's your job to save lives."
"I know." Buck sighs, sitting up and moving to lean on his boyfriend.
"And plus, if I have to go to my shift today, you have to go to yours," he makes Buck giggle, "and then at the end of the day we can have dinner together and curl up in bed to detox from whatever happens today."
The older man stands, offering a hand to pull Buck up.
"Okay, you win." He says defeated, although he can't fight the smile he gives the pilot.

Buck: Did you have fun with grampa Bobby?
Skylar (bucktommy daughter): Yeah, he taught me how to cook lasagna!
Tommy: Awe, was it nice?
Skylar: Yup, cheese was melted, and the meat was tender!
Buck *surprised*: Wow, look at you being a little food critic!
Skylar: Uh huh grampa Bobby taught me that too, I said to him those are things you need to work on Dad!
Buck *slightly offended*: Wha- what??
Tommy: Huh, so not just any food critic, we've got a 5 year old Gordan Ramsey on our hands.

“Uncle Tommy” for your BuckTommy prompts?
I have a few ideas for this one!
----
Jee-Yun
As soon a the two walked into the room, Jee came running, arms spread wipe and a huge smile on her face.
Buck opened his arms, ready to catch her.
"Uncle Tommy!"
She ran straight past his outstretched arms and right into Tommy's.
He wanted to be mad that he was demoted to second favourite uncle, but the sight before him was just too damn cute. Tommy caught her and effortlessly lifted her into his arms. He spoke to her softly and made her giggle.
All Buck wanted to do in that moment was somehow miraculously give Tommy a child. Just so he could see his 6'2, beef of a boyfriend hold a kid that they called theirs.
But seeing uncle Tommy in action would do for now. He watched as he lifted her onto his shoulders and made helicopter noises.
"Yay, helicopper!" Jee cutely mispronounced.
2. Tommy's nephew
Tommy's sister's sitter had cancelled last minute and needed someone to look after her son, the first person she called was of course her brother.
With his day off, he planned to have a fun day with his beloved nephew. He never misses a day where he can spend it with one of his favourite people.
They go out to eat at a local classic car cafe, pictures and relics line the walls and cars were parked out front.
They stop by at the 118 to say hi to everyone shortly before the get called out and he tells the boy that he used to be part of that team. His nephew is always in awe of his favourite uncle's stories.
They play games until it's time for dinner and Tommy uses one of Buck's recipes and his nephew loves it every time.
He lets him help him cook, showing him what to do next, but of course he leaves the use of sharp objects to himself.
Exhausted from the day, Buck comes home to find the boys asleep on the couch, Tommy holding his nephew close as the young boy drools on his shirt, making little snores as he's away in dreamland.
Buck doesn't disturb them, just takes a photo to send to his sister-in-law.
He adores how much Tommy loves being a uncle. He knows he just wants to give his nephew the best possible memories ever since he never got that. He would do anything for him to never have to experience the sadness he did growing up.
And he's doing a pretty good job so far, so Buck has faith.

I hope you like it, thank you, anon! 💐☺️

I’m forever wanting more Fics of Tommy coming out to hen or chim (any time really but I especially love when they’re pre Evan/buck)
I've written a fic that has been uploaded to my ao3 and is on here where Tommy and Chim have a heart-to-heart about it all, no really coming out but talking about it if you wanna check that out!
----
Tommy coming out to Hen
Hen looked around the bar, eyes scanning each booth until they land on the person she was looking for, Tommy.
Two days before, she received a text from her old colleague asking to meet up for drinks. She thought maybe he's invited Chimney too but there was no one else there.
Tommy sat on his own, nursing a beer nervously and looking down on it, like he was super focused on the alcoholic beverage.
Walking over to the table, Hen cleared her throat, making Tommy jump slightly. She smiled, "Hey, you alright?"
He nodded, giving her a tense smile as he swallowed hard, "Uh, yeah, you?" He gestured for her to sit down in front of him, a beer of her own waiting for her.
"I've been good, me and Karen just renovated our new kitchen, she loves it," She sat and took a sip from her bottle, "thank you for buying me a drink, you didn't have to."
"It's nothing, I invited you out, it's only fair I buy you a drink." He fidgeted in his seat and Hen noticed, eyeing him up and down.
She put her beer down and tried to catch his gaze, worry falling over her as she reached a hand over the table for him to take. "Is there a particular reason you wanted to meet up?"
He didn't take her hand, just laughed nervously and waved off her worry, "No, just wanted to catch up," he smiled again, "how's the 118 without me?" He needed to talk about something, it was clear as day.
Hen straightened up and sat firmly in her chair, "The new kid, that replaced you, he's a bit of a pain in the ass," she airily laughed, "but I know his hearts in the right place, he's just young."
Tommy drinks and nods, he's not fully listening, too many thoughts are swimming through his head.
She just continued, "Oh and the other day, while we were in the middle of a call he started flirting with-"
"I'm gay."
Hen was taken back by the sudden interruption, she stared at him in shock. Collecting herself, she smiled and nodded proudly. Tommy just looked scared, like he was waiting for her to say something, anything at all to put his mind at ease.
"Thank you for telling me," this time when she reached her hand out he took it, "I'm proud of you."
Tommy exhaled, a sigh of relief. He could finally relax.
"How long have you known?" She asks gently, "If you don't mind me asking."
He smiled, a genuine smile this time, "Pretty much most of my life, I just pushed it down, but after your speech, I started to reconsider things," he squeezed her hand, "I wanted to be myself for once, even if it took me a while to tell people."
"Well, I feel honoured and I guess I can welcome you to the club." They both laughed, she meant every word. Over the years, with a lot of development, Tommy grew on her, she got to see him come out of his hard shell and now she has seen him flourish.
"Anyways, this new guy!" As she continued her story, Tommy thanked whatever god out there that he got to meet friends like Hen, he had forgotten why he was so nervous in the first place. From then on, he knew he'd be alright.

Prompt: Buck and Tommy watch a horror movie together
(I couldn't decide on a movie, so I made up one)
Curled up together on the couch, Buck sat with a cushion pressed to his chest, his chin prepped up on it and Tommy's arm slung over his shoulders.
A dark scene played out on the screen in front of them, a girl walking towards the door of a unlit cabin, alone in the dead of night. She was young, defenceless and looking for her friend.
"No, don't go in there!" Buck almost shouts at the tv.
Tommy stays quite, an unreadable expression on his face. He tightens his arm around Buck's shoulders ever so slightly.
"Babe, she can't be that stupid, why would she even go in there?" Buck taps his boyfriend's thigh a couple of times, his nerves showing.
The girl on the screen reaches for the door handle and slowly pushes it open, taking a tentative step inside.
"She really is that stupid." He lifts the cushion slightly higher, pressing further against Tommy's solid form.
The older man huffs a laugh at his boyfriend, he smiles and shakes his head at how silly, but adorable, he sounds.
Tommy didn't watch horror movies often, he was more of a romcom type of guy, but tonight they thought about watching something a bit different from their usual, and he heard people raving about this new film so he thought he'd give it a try.
He focused back to the tv where the girl was now in a antique looking room, a corner of it plunged in darkness. She walked towards it.
"I don't think this girl has made a single smart decision this whole time!" Buck pipped up again.
Then all of a sudden, a figure jumps out from the darkness and grabs the girl, the once quiet scene now filled with bloodcurdling screams.
Tommy all but jumped out of skin, his heart was racing and he grabbed the tv controls and hit pause. He felt like he needed to catch his breath as he sat on the edge of the couch cushion.
"Are you alright there?" Buck tried to hide his giggles.
Exhaling, Tommy looked at him, "Did that not scare you?"
Buck frowned cutely and shook his head, "Nah, saw it coming, makes it less scary when you know it's gonna happen."
Tommy looked at him, dumbfounded. The usual strong, stoic, calm pilot scared by a silly horror movie. He couldn't believe it.
"I've had enough of this, I'm putting on Love, Actually." He reached for the remote again and switched it off.
Buck just settled against him again, laughing, "Whatever you want, babe."

Thank you, Hannah!! 💐☺️

Your Song <- link
Buck watched his husband, his Tommy, dressed in his best suit, gently swaying to the sound of Elton John's ‘Your Song’. In his arms, securely and safely, was their two year old daughter, Skylar Buckley-Kinard. Her head rested on her father’s shoulder, tucked into his neck, comfortably dozing away.

For you!
♠️ - Eddie sat in the armchair across from Tommy and Buck on the couch, his head in his hands, "I don't know, I just started google-ing it and I guess I got in really deep and now I'm having a full blown crisis!"
Buck rocked a crying 4 week old baby, he looked like he hadn't slept in a week and Tommy didn't look much better either, "I thought deep dive google-ing was my thing?" Buck questioned tiredly.
Eddie scrubbed his hands over his face, standing, he took Skylar from Buck's arms and bounced her till she quietened down, the other two men looked at him in absolute awe, "I just wanted to know why I've been struggling in the dating department and now I'm trying to understand the difference between asexual and aromantic!"

Little bucktommy / madney ficlet cause I remembered that I'm a fic writer!
After dinner at Maddie and Chim's house, Tommy and Chimney have a heart-to-heart
‐-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The hum of music filled the air, emitting a soft atmosphere in the Buckley-Han house. The low lighting of the lamps made the kitchen-dining area warm and homey.
Plates clacked against each other as the Buckley siblings worked together to clear everything off the table, their quiet conversation was carried all the way to the kitchen sink where they moved in years of practice motion.
Both Tommy and Chimney were left at the table, nursing their drinks in their hands and watching their respective Buckley's. Chim then whipped his head round to look at Tommy, a burning question he's had for weeks now was bubbling up and this was his opportunity to ask away.
"I'm sorry, I just gotta ask, so you've been gay this whole time?" Chimney burst and broke the silence that had previously settled over them.
"Um... yes?" Tommy raised his eyebrows and torn his eyes away from Buck to give Chimney a questioning look.
"What about that girlfriend you had when you were at the 118, the one Gerrard always wanted to come make us dinner?" It's been eating at him ever since he saw that smudged soot all over Buck's face at his and Maddie's wedding.
Tommy laughed, clearly amused by this conversation. He hadn't imagined for a conversation like this one for desert, they just finished dinner.
"I'm guessing you never caught on to the fact that whenever he asked me what day she was coming," he gave him a pointed look "the day would always change."
That's when it hit Chim, all the talk of Tommy having a girlfriend back then but never actually seeing her? Tommy saying single is better? Not understanding the Kristen Stewart hype? It all made sense!
"Oh my god... how did I not notice that we never actually met her!"
Tommy just laughed again, one thing he loved about telling the truth to old friends he knew wouldn't judge him was their reactions to the little details. It made him feel seen in a way.
"Yeah, I made her up," he scratched the back of his neck and scrunched his nose, "well, she was my ex, but we broke up years before and I just didn't tell anyone."
"Why?" Chim said, he just wanted to understand his old colleague turned long time friend.
He shrugged, "It was easier to hide that way, and no one seemed to care when she didn't show up, we were always too busy," he lifted his drink and emptied the last bit before continuing, "that speech that Hen gave really put things into perspective for me, so I put in that complaint about Gerrard, I wanted to do something for others for once instead of just protecting myself from him or anyone else from the boys club we had going on."
Tommy put the glass on the table and looked up to spy on Buck and Maddie animatedly speaking to one another as they leant against the kitchen island, "All of that was also the reason why I was such a douchbag."
Chimney huffed an airy laugh, his eyes followed to where Tommy was looking, "Ay, you weren't that bad." He said sincerely.
"I could've been nicer." He felt ashamed, the guilt form someone he used to be, he turned to smile tightly at Chim.
"You were though," Chim waved his hand around, his eyes met Tommy's, "I mean eventually, and you hung out with me and Hen a lot after too, you're our friend tommy."
They shared a smile.
Tommy had a lot of time to dwell over his past crappy actions for years, and after everything he managed to make a friend for life in Chim, which still baffled him. Chimney just had a heart of gold and he admired that.
"Ya'know, I've known I was gay since I was a kid, I always had that feeling and all I did was push it down and away, far from who I wanted to be," his eyes drift back over to Buck as he laughs at whatever silly thing his sister just said, "and then Hen did her speech and I thought, maybe I just need do accept it, it did take me a while though, I mean we're talking about unravelling years upon years of hiding within lies here, moving to Harbour was my fresh start where I didn't have to tell those lies anymore cause no one knew the past me."
He smiled, "It felt really good."
"I'm proud of you, man" Chimney clapped him on his shoulder, his smile contagious.
Maddie and Buck chose that moment to walk back to their seats, more drinks in their hands.
"What are you two talking about?" Buck questioned as he sat in his chair next to Tommy. He passed him a beer.
"Just reminiscing." Tommy reached out and rubbed a hand along Buck's arm.
The smiles didn't leave their faces.
"Aw, how sweet!" Maddie chimed and leant against her husband.
Life was pretty good for Tommy and Chimney, they had their Buckley's and that's what really mattered.

Buck was beaming, he got to spend the day with his family, celebrating his surrogate sister’s wedding. The venue was beautiful, an outdoor setting, with flowers everywhere and fairy lights strung above them all in the wooden beams over the dancefloor. May looked stunning in her dress, like a princess. The embroidered, white rose petals in the silk were Buck’s favourite touch.
As the day turned into night, the music got softer and the sky darker. Couples were swaying on the dancefloor without a care in the world. He spotted Bobby and Athena wrapped comfortably in each other’s arms as they spoke to one another in a hushed tone, proud smiles on their faces. They got to watch their daughter get married.
It warmed something in his chest, but not as much as the other sight he was blessed with. His husband, his Tommy, dressed in his best suit, gently swaying to the sound of Elton John's ‘Your Song’. In his arms, securely and safely, was their two year old daughter, Cassie Buckley-Kinard.

Here you go, freshly delivered for you! (Haha, get it)
🍕 - "Alright, buttercup!" Bobby moved the stool in front of the kitchen counter and held out his hand for Skylar to take it, "Hop on!"
She took his hand with a giggle, climbing onto the stepping stool, in front of her on the countertop lay a ball of dough and an arrangement of meats, veg and cheese.
"Today we're gonna make pizza!" He smiled at her as she looked up at him with wide eyes, "Pizza!" She bounced excitedly on the balls of her feet, blonde curls swaying as she did so.
