Oh yeah I think Kingsley definitely loves being on a warm island far more than anywhere up north in the cold. Of course, if you took him to Eiselcross, I think it wouldn't just be all the snow and blizzards and strange magic that bother him--I feel like he'd be hit by so many memories of being stranded in Aeor as both Mollymauk and Lucien, he'd have the worst nightmares of his life--

DND AU anyone?

Or well-kinda. The general idea around it is inspired by DND (As I actually don’t know much about it- still a new fan) 

But I’ve always loved fantasy, especially the way dnd does it.

So here’s the first two characters. 

Scott: One of the members of the party. He’s an elven warlock who made a deal with an ice god named Aoer. While one of the calmest members of the group, he’s also the strongest next to Gem the wizard. Very high in intelligence and is able to come up with a plan pretty quick. 

Tango: The dungeon master, protector of Deep Frost Citadeal, he is a Sorcerer Fire Genasi. The second to last person to fight, Tango likes to take the sneaky route and make a game when it comes to hunting his prey. He will fight when he has to but he prefers range combat instead of sword. But if he has to he will use his fancy sword he was gifted. With high intelligence and stealth he can make a tough opponent. 

For the basics of this whole story,

Grian finds a map that leads him to a journey like no other. What does this journey give him? He doesn’t quite know. But being stuck in a small village as the only human for years is quite boring so he couldn’t care less what it could give.

With his friends Scott the elven warlock, Gem the deer wizard, Pearl the tiefling druid, and Scar the ranger half elf, they embark on this journey with many challenges ahead.

From a basic music fight with an over exaggerated Bard, to a sword fight with a dungeon master. 

 I hope to do more with this AU! Let me know of some other life series characters I should add for this and what I should make them!

(Also this has Empires and Hermitcraft members and hints to it as well. If it wasn’t obvious- )

I'm most excited about them fully realizing the scope of the "Gods" and how they are not just "Gods" all knowing and power. And instead grapple (Orym mostly cuz he's the only God Positive) with the fact that you either view them as Gods or you view them as Humans it can't be both, but in whichever way you see them, it comes back to the question of "do they deserve to be saved?" It's going to be so fucking delicious to see the Hell's reactions

preparing in advance for the sound and fury that will descend upon this website in two weeks when the hells' are able to think in broader terms about the events of downfall than "gods, they're just like us!"

oh. oooooooh. ooooooooooooooooh the bit in 4-sided dive where dani and laura confirm that bells hells don't see the prologue in the eternal palace, any of what happened in hawk's hill before they got to aeor, presumably what happened to trist's family after she sent the sending stone, OR any of the conversations The Gods have after they've burned off their mortal forms and aoer has fallen. oh that is so good and so juicy.

This was a story that humanized the gods to the point of understanding just how close to mortals they really are. It showed that they are not only fallible but capable of experiencing love and joy so fierce that they would be willing to do anything to protect it. In that same vain it shows how far they really are willing to go in order to protect themselves and their own, sacrificing thousands of people in order for the few of them to remain alive. Faced with the treat that originally tore their family apart how will they react to those born under the red light of ruidus, will they end all of them as they did with the people of Aoer or will they have learned from the heartache and pain downfall caused them. It’s gonna be so interesting and exciting to see how each member of Bells Hells interprets what they just watched.

Look at ho..how the--they fought with everything to save Aoer till the last minute...and...uh...sa-saved people from the city as it was collapsing. Look at how that evil Dawnfather is openly weeping as he defends his siblings at the cost of his children. Totally evil!!"
