((The seven united provinces actually were comprised of eight provinces, with Drenthe being the 8th province. Because this province was so poor, and had such little people, they never got the right to vote in the States-General nor did they get a representative status, despite being a full member. Holland also didn’t want to lose any power either, and therefore refused the province their voting rights and representative status.))

North Holland: “Amsterdam is both. I do like the island Texel and Haarlem too. Uhmmm… No wait! Zandvoort! I like Zandvoort because it’s the best beach you can have in the entire country~ “South Holland: “Fuck me, I dunno? I’ve got a ton of good places, better than Harm’s. I mean, there’s Gouda, Rotterdam, Lisse, Den Haag and many more. Harm only has Amsterdam to offer, which is a fucking shithole. I’ve got no bad ones, they’re all good!“Zeeland: “My favorite is Vlissingen, my least… Stavenisse…”Noord-Brabant: "I can only choose ONE??? But there are so many! Hehe I can’t choose, I wanna choose Tilburg because of the biggest funfair of the Benelux, but they also didn’t celebrate Carnaval for over a hundred years… Oh and there’s of course the Efteling! Sorry to bother you but may we have a picture of what all the provinces (or the designs you currently have) look like? I've been trying to look for them through your blog but I haven't managed to find very many. I would greatly appreciate it ^^

((I’ve started a project where I’m personifying the provinces of The Netherlands! They’re based on my own knowledge and experiences with different cities and people in the provinces!

This is Drenthe, part of the northern provinces of The Netherlands. A shy guy with a bit of a trust-issue that stems from being bullied in his childhood by his siblings. He has a slight weight problem with having the most overweight people in his lands. He borders with Germany and has as the only province dolmens, or Hunebedden which give him a bit of tourism.))
