It was rare for you to summon him- As his wife he was used to you being one to not speak with him much. In the past you'd been a chatterbox much to his annoyance, but greatful you had quieted down over the coming years. However when the Transponder Snail on his desk informed him that you'd requested him he was surprised if not mildly intrigued.

Marching down the hallway to you as you saw you, dressed like you were preparing to go outside and eating a fine charcuterie board and sipping on one of his best bottles of wine- much to his ire.

You look up from your glass of wine. Seeing Mihawk step into the room with a bottle of his own drink of choice- Silence filling the room as he looked you over.

"You wished for me wife?" He questioned with his usual stoic manner.

"Another letter- This time a women from East Blue, it's a girl" You say blandly, Tossing the letter on the table as you set down your glass. He didn't seem amused by this, only giving a annoyed sigh and stepping forward prepared to grab the letter however you slammed a manilla envelope on top of the letter before he grabbed it. Yellow eyes looked at you annoyed-

"What is this?-"

He grumbled, you waving off his question for him to just open it. Grabbing the manilla envelope he proceeded to open it, His eyes widening at the stack of papers inside and seeing in bold letters what was written on top. Divorce Decree-

"(Y/N) What is the meaning of this" He hissed and tossed the envelope back down on the table, You pouring yourself another glass of wine.

"Divorce papers, I've already taken the liberty of filling my name on it already" He picked them up again to look for himself- seeing you had indeed signed all the papers already.

You stayed calmly, his face swirling with emotions as he held the papers with a tightened grasp. Clearly anger bubbling below the surface.

"This seems like a extreme reaction to a small issue" He stated calmly, You raising a brow at his statement as you sipped your drink and ate some more of the charcuterie board you'd laid out for yourself.

"Is it?" You question, eating some more till Mihawk reached over and slid the board away from you to stop eating as he stared hard at you- your hands quick to grab your wine glass too before he took that.

"This is a one time thing, it was a drunken-"

"87" You said calmly, drinking down your final glass of wine. He looked at you in question.

"Pardon?-"

"This is your 87th child with a stranger. 48 boys, 39 girls- 25 in the East Blue, 21 in the west, 30 in the North and 11 throughout the Grandline" You recited calmly, his face going to one of shock at hearing your words so blandly spoken or that you knew to the agree of unfaithful he was.

"So what was that about this being the final one?" You ask, standing from your chair to knock the crumbs off your outfit.

"It is natural in wanting to spend time with someone who can provide-" He stated as he watched you prepare to leave.

"Well then its natural that I want a divorce, it's not MY fault that you can't go a few days without fucking some stranger or that you seem to like to like to get every person you meet pregnant" You hissed, Mihawk glaring at you.

"And It is not my fault you are barren- So dont blame me that I spread my legacy elsewhere" He shot back, His words like that final knife to your heart as you stood in the doorway. Mihawk regretted those words the moment they left him, sighing as he rubbed his temple his lips feeling like fire for saying such a thing.

"That.. isnt what I ment I apo-"

"Dont- You're right it's not your fault... just how it's not my fault you're a cheater bastard. We are done Mihawk. My stuff has already been packed and sent away, I will he out of here by tonight" You stated calmly and leaving your library one last time-

"(Y/N)! This is utterly childish and ridiculous" He angrily yelled as he followed you down the hallway. You just grabbing the last suitcase you had set by your former bedroom door.

He grabbed your wrist suddently to stop you from stepping further but you spun around and smacked him hard. The wedding ring still on your hand slicing him across the cheek, as he quickly released your wrist to touch the bloody cut.

You slid off the ring, ignoring the tinge of his blood in it and slammed it into his free hand.

"You will never touch me again-" You all but hiss, disgust dripping from your lips like a venom that shot through his vains.

"(Y/N) it is ignorant to give up an entire relationship for a character flaw- I've been a good husband in other regards" You couldn't help but snort a laugh at this-

"You a good husband? Please tell me, when is my birthday? When was the last time we had sex? Last time you kissed me, Hell last time you even uttered the words I love you? Oh here's a good one when did we get married?" You ask him, He opened his mouth but he couldn't think of an answer to any of those- You smiled sarcastically.

"I thought so... By the way, Our wedding anniversary is today"

His heart sank.. was it really?... he relooked at the divorce papers to see the date of Marriage and he felt a burn of guilt in his chest at the sight- indeed it was today.. 20 years to the day.

He opened his lips to try and conjoure up words to wipe away his actions but he couldnt.. instead looking to your eyes and that's when it hit him- He was no better then a stranger to you seeing the indifference in your gaze at him- Not angry, not sad but just.. indifferent like he was just another person to you.

Sensing that he now understood the true gravity of this all you nod, Grabbing your coat from the rack and slipping it on and set down your copy of the keys to the manor on the side table.

"...You have a wonderful rest of your life Mr. Dracule" You say sternly before walking out of the manor, the Warlord only standing there in a state of shock as his world suddently got so much darker.

There’s so many gold nuggets from this live and here’s my observations from this section.

1. Seeing Apo’s surprise at Mile’s knowledge, Mile knew Apo wore no perfume and used an alum stick based on his scent alone. Mile cares enough to commit the information to memory, which is funny cos Mile self proclaims to have bad memory. But he remembers his friend/costar’s scent (including when he takes a bath cos he a smells the soap!) and correctly guessed which he product he uses? HMMM (In future interviews, Mile reveals how he thinks Apo smells like croissants so it evolved lol).

2. Apo’s reaction is telling. Typically there’s a few ways a person will react when someone tells them they know their scent and what product they use or don’t use without being told beforehand.

If Apo was put off by this reveal, he’d likely have a visible negative reaction or the room would become awkward. If there were only platonic feelings involved, then he’d likely shrug it off in some manner, ex: “Oh I do? Okay” and move on from the topic shortly after.

INSTEAD, Apo is pleasantly surprised, giddy, excited and can’t help but be touchy with Mile. He reacted instantaneously without much thought and pulled back after he noticed his own reaction which fits Apo’s character to impulsively react when he’s emotionally charged. The only situation that I know where a person reacts this way is if their crush (or person who they have feelings for) notices them!

The whole live is filled with this giddy excited energy from both of them but it’s pronounced here. In short I call this their ‘close bro with romantic feelings who flirt with each other era’ April 2021.

Okay, having re-watched that interview about the dick twitch (I caaaaan't), I am not unconvinced that Apo and Mile may have discovered a mild exhibitionism kink. I don't know them, this is a shitpost! But I am right lol.

And I did remember Apo being a smug little shit correctly because why was he going on and on about the comedy elements of the script like that informed his choice to turn on torture Mile? Why was getting a real reaction the goal?

Shooting any kind of intimate scene sounds tricky to me, especially with regard to consent. I know those workshops helped. (Did they have an intimacy coordinator on set, too?) But typically now, for everyone's safety, these types of scenes are negotiated and agreed upon before shooting.

It's a whole other thing for Apo to boldly tell the world he was just playing around with Mile and doing whatever he wanted to get a real reaction out of him. And Mile clearly being okay with it because he said it was fun. Sir! I emphasize that I don't know them, but that is a very particular comfort level to have with a scene partner. I don't know how many actors would be chill with that.

But damn, why are all their interviewers so ruthless? Did they really have to ask Mile what he felt? Mile, you didn't have to give a play-by-play, we all saw it. He fought through his embarrassment and relived the "fun of the scene." Sir, I'm sure it was fun for you. 💀

thoughts on the 2nd ep of THC

last week they started w a dark hidden story to make a boom which worked (if the intention was to get a lot of backlash lol). thankfully this week’s story wasn’t disturbing, it was only really boring. why are we so worried about what these boys were up to during their pubescent years?

my cringe tolerance for bad liars and men trying to be suave is extremely low, so all of them trying to gaslight each other was a struggle for me to get through😭 please boys, at least don’t do this in front of the Mile Phakphum Romsaithong...

the young ones talking about their past love lives made me laugh. being all “i was a player” or “i gave my %100 back then″. yeah, when you were in middle school. what did you give, some of your gaming or homework time?

naturally it took like 0.1 seconds for the truth or dare to get dangerously TMI. i saw angry/critical tweets about it, esp towards lotte’s confession. i don’t like that these boys are encouraged to be open by production without considering the repercussions. 

so, we can safely say they chose competitors with pasts of being unruly/rascals on purpose. maybe to show people change, maybe to get more views. idk whatever Pond was thinking. yes, people can put in the work and change but to do it in public eye is whole another story. feels like they are setting the boys up for failure by laying out too many of their questionable antics/qualities and making them more unlikable than honest. of course boys aren’t exempt from being judged, they are responsible for their actions but still, they are rookies in this industry and they are getting dropped into piranha infested waters by this experienced producer. all the boys seem to trust and respect Pond a lot which makes me worried but i would love to be disproven

i had to watch voting scene several times to figure out which FOOLS chose Max but couldn't see clearly

some judgments about the boys:

last week Max’ story seemed to get a lot of angry reactions from viewers (rightfully). i didn’t take it that seriously for several reasons, biggest one being: i find him a really weak figure among these strong/loud personalities and YES its early to make a judgement like this but still, i cant imagine him winning at all.

New gets on my nerves A LOTTT and nothing i learn about him makes it any better. i want him gone like yesterday and i don’t feel bad wishing he’d be the first one to get voted off the show. 

Copper gets on my nerves too but i’ll give it to him, at least he doesn't have an homophobic past, he is just plain annoying. he can stay for now. 

every time I see Bump, i think “damn, not a thought behind these eyes, huh?”

like Perth, JJ being self conscious is such a shame. What makes a person appealing isnt just having perfect features, it also requires charisma and sincerity, which are qualities he seems to possess. ALSO someone should tell him that BL fans go absolutely rabid for tall men so he can feel better.

to be fair, no one on the show hyped up the sex scene like all mile said was he liked it and apo said it was his fav but even in todays reaction you can see it was because it was because of the feelings involved not because it was crazy sex. fans built their expectations up all by themselves. it was the same with vp's sex scene, the fans were like this is gonna be insane bdsm and it was more on the romantic side. perhaps people should just watch porn to get their gay sex fix.

It literally did not occur to me that anon’s disappointment might be due to the scene not being “raunchy enough” lol but if that was the complaint then a) a bit of a funky one and b) I would totally disagree on horny grounds. I really liked the pool scene for how it sort of cinched their feelings and gave us a glimpse of them at their most honest, heartfelt, and intimate. Sure it wasn’t as big of a key narrative moment to the extent the other two love scenes were, but that was kind of the point? To see them with all the drama and conflict and external pressure stripped away, so we’d have an even deeper understanding of who we’re rooting for in the finale.

Idk I love horny shitposting but it’s always good to remember that (spectacular tits aside) there is an actual plot here and a complex, beautiful story being told.

weird mile thought that just occurred to me: so mile has said he'd been asked to take other bl roles before right? and never really expressed any hesitation about taking one - like he was confident that it'd be his choice even though he wasn't a known actor, hadn't ever had an actual acting role before? and i was wondering at like this casual assumption that he'd be able to do a role, like he was almost deigning to take it rather than being insecure or worried about being good enough. and while i realize some of that is just mile (and the life experience of being rich and good-looking lol) i think some of it probably would also have been to do with the kinds of things he'd been offered?

i was thinking: someone described mile as kind of like a thai kim kardashian because he previously was sort of famous for being basically a rich socialite-type. and one thing you learn about thai bl shows if you pay even a little attention is that they love a cameo guest role from other bl actors or cps. there are always these little moments where some random encounter with a walk-on background character in a bl show seems to be dragged out a bit and given a confusing amount of time and significance where later you'll see everyone going crazy in the chat "omg it was so&so from last year's drama! they were the couple at the fashion show!!!" etc etc.

so how likely is it that the "roles" mile was offered were of that kind - attempts to take advantage of his celebrity and followers to bump the viewership of a bl drama with a cameo turn by "extremely handsome restaurant patron mile" or "extremely handsome businessman mile " or maybe even "extremely handsome suave beach-goer mile"?

it just seems very likely, considering how celebrity can function and also mile's kind of supreme confidence about picking and choosing from among offers.

but what i love, and what i realized might have been a little bit of an "f* you" on mile's part for the implied assumption that he maybe couldn't pull off a real role, is that he decided to go in and actually audition for kinnporsche when he heard about it, not for some kind of gravy star cameo, but for the full leading role, when he hadn't acted before.

like we all laugh that he heard it was based on himself and saw a chance that apo might be involved and jumped at it, but seriously. seriously, think: if kim kardashian one day just decided to audition for a genuine movie/tv role in idk succession or something - not a gimmick part, not a walk-on as "herself" - what would the reaction be??

do you think most celebrities could handle a full lead role like that? just ... decide to do it, and then not only pull it off, but do a brilliant job?

just, with all the sort of interpersonal stuff with daemi that's been sort of an avoided discussion and the way mile has said he'd read yok's work before, i'm speculating that going for a much bigger and more demanding role than maybe what he'd been offered before was a way for mile to make a kind of statement of his own, staking his own worth as an actor not just some 'pretty face with nice tits' (which is kind of how i feel like sometimes the whole cast got treated by the writers)

and that fills me anew with a kind of gleeful appreciation for his style and boldness.
