feathertail: would grab some dried fruit, sunflower seeds and water (or lemonade)!! if a gas station has an option for milkshakes, she would purchase one lmao

stormfur: some cashews (i don’t see him having a particular favorite snack, would grab whatever he’s in the mood for) and he’ll get water or some juice

squirrelflight: definitely gummy fruit candy and beef jerky lmao, as for drinks her go to choice is either water or some apple juice

tawnypelt: half the time she would just grab anything that she’s in the mood for. other half of the time tho she would grab some trail mix, dark chocolate, and canned tea

brambleclaw: most of the time he would go for either granola bars or trail mix and some good old water (if he’s in the mood for it he would get something sweet)

crowfeather: this guy would grab any chip bag that’s spicy and some soda or slurpee lmao

One thing that I wish would've happened in TNP is Tawnypelt and getting Brambleclaw's arc. Thoughts?

i wouldn't personally give Tawnypelt Brambleclaw's arc beat for beat, but I do like the idea of her being a point of view character!! I actually really like the idea of Tawnypelt as somewhat of an opposite: confident in her loyalty and her ability to serve the Clan. She's the Tigerstar spawn that knows their father the most, the one who spent the most time with him when he was alive. I actually like the idea that she sympathized with him, was open minded when he began to appear in her dreams, and was about to bite into the apple he was offering....

Then Nightstar comes to her in a dream and she suddenly meets a group of cats from different walks of life and her original core beliefs are challenged. How can she call the cats she's walked with moons, hunted alongside, and looked out for her enemies when they come back? How can she see Feathertail and Stormfur as lesser, as deserving of death for who they are, when every night she would trust them to watch her back? I like the idea of Tawnypelt losing her faith in her father and begin to reject everything he stood for (instead of just Knowing Better like she seemed to in the books).

I'm not sure how this would fit in the latter half of the arc. Maybe she tries to talk Hawkfrost down instead? I don't know, I like the drama of Brambleclaw hesitating (WHICH SHOULD NOT HAVE LANDED HIM THE ROLE OF DEPUTY!!). But yes, maybe not like an exact recreation of Brambleclaw's arcs but one where she is given more depth would be fantastic! Like I said, BIG missed opportunity to make a POV when we know much less about her than her brother.

I try to play loose with the Family Traits (except the Tawnyrain Mane which so far is absolutely constant), but so far for family traits I have this mental list;

(Also it's worth noting i don't take realism into account AT ALL and I do not understand how genetics work and I will not learn <3 like water off a smoooooth shark)

Bluestar Family: Wolf Motif. Tails are dog shaped and they often have "capes". Dovewing is actually VERY Bluesy if you look at her closely

She'd have Patchpelt as her mentor instead of father like canon... Tigerstar is probably her father here but I'm not exactly sure- She's close with her little sister Tawnypelt and the two look very alike! She and Swift aren't... too close. She's actually more friendly with Thornpaw and Fernpaw to contrast with Swift, Cloud and Bright- because I think its funny- She's a lot more studious and very hard headed. She sticks to her own ideals, she reminds me a lot of both her parents and Swiftpaw lmao. Also decided she should be Ferncloud's mate.

Potential names: Snowmistle or Snowshine Snowkit beloved... I love the idea of Snowkit becoming a guard of sorts? Like someone who actively keeps watch. I think that's because I remember Smallear sounding an alarm I the first book and well- Snowkit's his son Brackenfur does train Snowkit tho cuz I like Brackenfur and I like their bond. Along with Speckletail helping them! Snowpaw very much looks up to his big sister Goldenflower and thinks she's really cool... I think it'd be interesting if he ends up in a cross clan relationship... and what if... maybe?? Stormfur or Feathertail?? I'm not sure who else is in that age range tbh-

Willowkit beloved ♡ She's the one I got most attached to as a kid. I imagine she's pretty quiet and basically the polar opposite of her sister with Silverpaw being a bit... stuck up (affectionate) Willowpaw is the type of person to give and give and be humble and kinda later have impostor syndrome... maybe it has to do with her mom- But she sorta eases up when Loudpaw and her start hanging out more... she's kinda like her rock and helps her ground herself when she's *really* spiraling, yes they become mates- I'm not sure who her mentor is here? Probably Sunfish tbh-

Turtlekit is beloved. I love her. She's very close with her cousin Brownpaw... who uh... I'm gonna say is apart of a different litter than Littlecloud and Wetfoot because if not that's just ... weird? Cinderfur was only sire and she and her littermates knew that... but she still wanted to impress him all the same! She's very high achieving and bites off more than she can chew- which is both praised and looked down upon so she's often very confused and seeking out praise while getting in trouble-

She becomes close to Oakpaw and they both just... become frenemies. Both competing yet still respect each other.... it's frenemies to lovers yes. Oakpaw is Oakfur... who is such a nothing character despite training Tawnypelt and Tigerheart lmao. They're both cranky old people yet very much love and respect each other Also I'm giving Tawnypelt to Turtledove/skid to train instead because why not

Their mentor will be Webfoot... despite him being his uncle (I imagine he's Whitetail's brother) he's kinda the only one who can sorta... keep down Rustlepaw's eager nature, always getting into everything and having leafs and twigs stuck to their pelt- They're very wreckless and were held back on their Warrior ceremony due to that... but eventually they did get their name and were very happy about it!

Everyone's kinda put off about how eager they are to explore... but they soon settled down after their little siblings were born and was immediately attached to Heatherkit. Before then Rustlefrond/gust was genuinely considering leaving clan life to explore... with their best friend Pebblefoot of RiverClan... of course they're still very close with Pebblefoot regardless

appledusk had a pattern in his chest fur that was, to no ones surprise, in the shape of a halved apple. he actually passes this weird trait onto the rest of his posterity but the fur is in different patterns for each cat.

shellheart has a sea shell shaped blotch on his own chest! none of the cats would kno what a sea shell specifically looks like tho so everyone thought it was just a strange little splotch

crookedstar has smthing in the shape of a flower..when he was younger it was just a ball (bud) but by the time of a leader it had grown and spread out and "bloomed." specfically its supposed to be a zinnia, which depending on the colors mean can mean constancy, 'in memory of', or goodness

oakheart's is in the shape of a heart, obviously! when he was younger it was upside down, but after he met bluefur the fur there started growing right side up

poor silverstream's is in the shape of a teardrop (or a raindrop) i hc all of her markings have a wobbly, watery, quality to them and this marking is too

stormfur has a subtle little lighting bolt stripe! as he grows older it branches out and it looks a bit like lichtenberg figures

feathertail has a marking in the shape of a massive cat's paw starting from right above where her heart is..it looks exactly like a sharptooths pawprint.

in mistystar's fur is in the shape of a 6 pointed star-her dna was suprisingly clairvoyant. most leaders have a star fur print after they get their 9 lives, but hers is incredibly prominent and placed on the chest like the rest of her family

at first glance stonefur is a solid colored cat like bluestar, but if one looks closely enough you can see a faint print of a skull (it's a cats skull obvs.) and crossbones on his chest...the place where the crossbones intersect is exactly where blackfoot delivered the fatal blow

mosskit's is also in the shape of a star like her sister, but instead it's four point and diamond shaped, because she joined silverpelt so young.
