i'm still thinking about how i like the thieves, so: they're... i guess indie folk might be the description? i don't know all their stuff, i tend to enjoy the tracks that are thumpier (i love every time a cello does anything) and more miserable because that's me, though i think their lighter ones get more listens. they also have a great fondness for nautical imagery that i find charming.
