Good morning! Today there are very few tasks but they're quite lengthy:

-Tax day is approaching fast so, unfortunately, we have to file them today.

-Finish the outlines for the 3 upcoming essays from my history class.

-Finish my part of the group research on lunar construction.

-Finish drawing the last parts of the comic I've started.

it does kinda feel crazy to know enough about a topic that i consistently come to work at the museum and they're like "can you give a tour today on this or that aspect of the museum's collection?" and i don't need to even prepare anything, i can just say yes. like again, i know this is like. normal. for adults with jobs to be able to do their job. but it still feels weird to me that i can speak with authority about anything other than fandom

By the end of the exhibition (Mis)Understanding Photography the photo installation Large Kneeling Boys, see 1405 (FOLK), had been deinstalled. A collection of five of the hereby obtained décollages was reproduced and printed on large-scale posters.

George Minne‘s sculpture Fountain with Kneeling Youths, ca. 1905, was photographed from various perspectives. The images were installed in the lobby of the extension building of Museum Folkwang designed by David Chipperfield.
