I had a very interesting conversation with Ar. Peter Obron, President of the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA). We discussed three key areas where we can work together for the betterment of professions and the built environment, which include advocacy, capacity building, and building codes. Moreover, we deliberated on the education system and curriculum in Pakistan. I highlighted the issue of including courses related to energy, the environment, disaster risk management, sustainable development, and climate action. I look forward to establishing a meaningful relationship with CAA and working together to address the issues faced in Pakistan and other Commonwealth countries.
