Frank Iero and The Architects (2013)

Deaths Spells opened for The Architects at Knitting Factory in 2013 (November, 19) - and for some reason, Frank had to play bass for them. Y’all probably have seen these before but it’s the first time I've noticed him using the Mikey Way Fender Bass Guitar.

If you don't remember, The Architects have opened for My Chem a bunch of times, Frank did a cover of Suspect Devices (Stiff Little Fingers) with them on stage during the World Contamination Tour in 2011. During the same tour, Ray also joined them on stage .

so im catching up on critical role c3 e68, and ever since the shattered teeth got brought up i was just thinkin ab exu calamity. so i looked through the notes i took and remembered that Laerryn had an automaton named Dweomer, the one that casted disentegrate on Nydas.

"D" is an automaton, they seem to know about how to wake automatons up so they know some magic, Dweomer was a clockwork sorcerer working for the Archtect Arcane. Bell's Hells are going to go see a special tree in the shattered teeth.

god the fact that bregan is also having visions of genevieve....

i love descriptiong of the old gods song as this beautiful song that just. keeps driving you in a way that is almost maddening to bregan (he even talks about scratching his ears). no wonder the architect wants to free the darkspawn from it

the calling talking about regret a lot and knowing how major of a theme it becomes in vg im like 🧍‍♂️

Are there so many such creatures in the surface lands that they are not something of wonder?” i love the architect so much. it really said you think them being dragons is not amazing enough??? you need more?????

Oh I love how Bregan keeps humanizing the Architect in his narration but then keeps reminding himself that its a darkspawn

GOD THE reveal that bregan survived his previous chapter bc of the darkspawn regeneration and his skin is all weird now....AUGH

H GOD YES I LOVE THIS especially in regards to what happens to Isseya and Larius (you suvived so long you're more darkspawn then you are a "human". and also this pretty much confirms that the taint. if you survive it. doesnt really kill you.)

but also the idea that. there are so many other faster and quicker ways to kill someone. but then they decided no, we die fighting the thing we are slowly becoming.

Influential St. Louis Architect Charles Fleming Dies

Last month The Architect's Newspaper posted the sad news of the death of St. Louis, MO architect Charles Fleming. According to the obituary "In 1960, Fleming became the first African American to graduate from Washington University’s architecture program. He went on to establish his own practice, Fleming Corporation." In 1965, Fleming was a founder of the Urban Housing Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission was to combat housing discrimination based on race.

During the 1970s Fleming designed upgrades to several St. Louis public school buildings to accommodate desegregation in the district. Fleming's obituary also stated, "Before Pruitt-Igoe’s demolition in 1976, [Fleming's architectural firm] was hired in a last-ditch effort to redesign the public housing complex, but to no avail."

Fleming's best-known works are the Gateway National Bank, the first minority-owned bank in Missouri, and the physicians' dormitory at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. General Community Hospital in Watts, Los Angeles.
