I'm blessed to be part of the Media Team helping to document TEXSOM this year in Dallas.

During one of the dinners, the great discussion brought up Bonarda which is a grape grown in Argentina. Instantly, fond memories flooded back of this great find and how much I shared it with customers and great friends.

During the discussion, the question was asked about the oldest Bonarda that they had tried. One member stated that they had purchased 13 year old bottles. The same ones I enjoyed. They had opened them and stated that they were amazing.

I started to think....why do we not age wines ourselves more? Today at ArtofthePair.com, I discuss the basics of ageing and holding a bottle for long term.
