Por su parte, el video, filmado en la provincia de La Rioja (Argentina), explora universos alternativos cercanos a la estética del western fantástico

"Mejor así" es el resultado del trabajo en conjunto con un equipo artístico y técnico argentino que formará parte de las demás canciones del nuevo álbum. La producción musical del single estuvo a cargo de Bodie Datino (músico y productor, lider del grupo La Flota Plateada e integrante de la banda de Richard Coleman) y Carlos Cossi, líder  de Cossi, mientras que Hernán Agrasar (ingeniero en vivo de Mike Patton, Gustavo Cerati, Nathy Peluso y Attaque 77, entre otros) fue el encargado de la grabación, el mix y el master.

Grabado mayormente en Buenos Aires en los míticos Estudios ION y en Montevideo en IO Estudios, cuenta además con un videoclip filmado en La Rioja (Argentina). El mismo se rodó durante una semana en distintas locaciones con equipo argentino y producción y post producción uruguaya. El video fue dirigido por el uruguayo Federico Grampín (director de videos de NTVG, Alfonsina, Emi, entre otros).

El video de "Mejor Así" representa una nueva incursión de Cossi fuera de su territorio. El mismo fue filmado en la provincia argentina de La Rioja durante 5 días en diversos escenarios naturales de excepcional aridez y belleza. La producción supuso una amalgama de artistas y técnicos uruguayos y argentinos – entre ellos profesionales de La Rioja - y constituyó un importante desafío logístico. La misma estuvo a cargo de Carlos Cossi, líder de la banda, y Martín Ubillos, manager y director de ORIGAMI Gestión Cultural, y contó con el apoyo de la Film Comission de la provincia.

COSSI es una banda de rock-pop uruguaya que tras lanzar su disco debut en el 2018 obtuvo varias nominaciones a los Premios Graffiti y viene presentándose en diversos escenarios de la capital e interior de Uruguay y Buenos Aires.

“No pertenecemos a ninguna tribu. Amamos el pop-rock británico de los 80, 90, 2000 y más acá. Nuestra música puede llegar a todos, ese es nuestro deseo.", expresa Carlos Cossi, líder de la banda. 

El proyecto musical está integrado por el cantante y compositor Carlos Cossi (voz y guitarra), acompañado de Nacho Imbellone (guitarra), Waldo Melgar (bajo y coros), Andrés Arias (guitarra) y Pablo Nión Piedra (batería).

Cossi cuenta con dos discos en su haber: Cinemascope (2018) y Autoversionado (2019).

Desde el lanzamiento de su primer disco obtuvo diversas nominaciones en los Premios Graffiti: Mejor Artista Nuevo (2019), Mejor Diseño de Arte (2019), Mejor Álbum Pop (2020) y Mejor Video de Presentación en Vivo (2021).

En estos momentos la banda se encuentra en plena grabación y edición de su próximo álbum.

Con más de 8 horas de música y charlas inéditas, el oyente se adentra en la elaboración de uno de los álbumes clásicos más vendidos del mundo. Cuando Glenn Gould grabó su primera versión de las Variaciones Goldberg en 1955, fue en una época en la que el material de cinta analógica era bastante caro, por lo que la grabación se centró principalmente en las tomas individuales.

En 1981 era completamente diferente: acababa de implantarse el proceso de grabación digital, por lo que, además de los dispositivos de grabación digital, también funcionaban al mismo tiempo un conjunto de máquinas de cinta analógica que permitían documentar generosamente el proceso de trabajo de Gould. Por primera vez, el oyente puede acompañar al gran Gould en su viaje hacia la versión final de sus Variaciones Goldberg, participar en las conversaciones y reflexiones de Gould y vivir así de cerca la creación de una obra maestra en el estudio. La experiencia se completa con una cuidada edición del libro con fotos y facsímiles.
