Velkhana – Lord/Lady of the Ice
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Velkhana is the one of the Elder Dragons found all over the world by recently discovered from Astera and Elgado. This animal resembles from The Snow Queen from Hans Christian Andersen, but with elements of theme song, from Romance songs of 1800s as not inspired by Snegurochka. Because no other true European type Elder Dragon used ice element than in Frontier.
This animal holds the ice as defensive and attack.
Velkhanas are carnivorous and scavengers, and used ice for helping some creatures experience in heat stroke or drought. Coming from their horn and a special organ contains a gem like many Elder Dragons, this gem that never melts.

general thoughts and feelings:
today i went to disney on ice! vv fun. def reccommend. but not what im here to talk about rn. i absolutely cannot stop thinking about Bobs Burgers. its my MAJORRR hyperfix rn and im all about it.
i started planning a fanfic?? its rlly good but idk if ill write it tbh, im not that great w following through w my ideas. after this post im gonna obsessively read the wiki and make notes. then im gonna draw.
"draw what?" you ask? literally anything related to bobs burgers. i made a morning kisses drawing yesterday, today i might just draw them and their restaurant (like the intro) as a whole. thatd be so mega fun actually
also yk when you watch a show for so long that you pick up on their speech patterns? thats literally me rn like actually. my speech pattern is closest to tina or bob with the excessive amount of "uhm"'s and pauses in ym sentences. and this digital diary is kinda like tinas journal that everyone reads
sometimes i wish my family was like hers but other times i appreciate what i have. they have such a perfect and supportive family dynamic that i cant help but be jealous sometimes. most of my thoughts are comparing the two, but i know that reality will usually win. well i think thatss all until i add a "p.s" at the end
overall emotions for the day:
pretty good! im very sickso i woke up a few times in the night so i was a bit upset about that but itll be okay once i get over my sickness
academic items:
mr conrad gave us this major lab to do to prepare for our simple invertebrates practical. it has like. over 40 items on it! me and arianna are working together. it was supposed to be me and lexie and arianna, but since sierra o left for disney, ashley joined our group. me and arianna dont like her mainly bc she doesnt do any work when shes supposed to.
religious thoughts:
started an online bible course a few days ago! hoping to continue it when im not so hyperfixed
writing goals:
plotted that fanfic i was talking about! its called "veiled lament, chromatic whispers between twilight" and it only has 10 plotted chapters but i wanna turn it into a big thing.
i keep seeing this fic called "Baby Steps" for zekina and im sure its great but the author posts so much smut with the fic and i am so. against that. mainly because theyre minors
language goals:
started latin a few days ago. havent done anything else with it besides organize resources
self care goals:
got my new mary kay skincare set! trying to use it every night
shadow work:
havent touched anything witchy in 2 months
other:

in honor of pride month and all the arianna posts i’ve seen circulating because of arianna appreciation month, i’m curious about what your sexuality hc for her is! mine is that she’s bisexual with a strong preference for women — that doesn’t mean she loves frederic any less, of course!
I don't have a specific headcanon for her in that regard, sorry. I wrote one fic about her courtship with Frederic (and Trevor's attempted courtship of her), but that's it. I don't give everyone a specific sexuality or identity headcanon.
Also, just so you're aware, those are old posts. I've been reblogging them because I've been in a particularly Arianna mood lately. We haven't had an Arianna Appreciation Month in years, but when we did, they were in September. ^u^

I appreciate Arianna’s encouragement but Rapunzel’s been trying to “get through” to Cass for months at this point and it hasn’t been working because Rapunzel is completely oblivious to Cassandra’s trauma.

Bio’s & Verses
Verse: Main Name: Etta Fiske Age: 24 Occupation: Bakery Location: Long Beach, CA
TW: Domestic Abuse, Suicide mention, & miscarriage
Etta Fiske was born into what appeared to be a normal American family. Her parents, Martin and Arianna Fiske were an older couple, but very much in love. It was obvious from an early age that their little daughter had a gift for music. Wanting to nurture that aspect her parents enrolled her in piano lessons at the age of five. While her parents loved her deeply they were overprotective which eventually led to Etta being overly sheltered. Throughout school, she kept to herself, something that would eventually lead to a crippling social anxiety. The young girl had a difficult time looking people in the eye or holding conversations. As she grew up she was bullied by her peers who found flaws in everything from her red hair to her pale skin. If that wasn’t bad enough Etta didn’t care too much about keeping up with the popular styles and would just be happy with clothes picked up from a thrift store or a garage sale which only added to the misery at school as they often teased her about being poor; despite her parents being middle class. By the time she hit high school, she was quite tall and awkward as puberty seemed to hold out until the last possible minute. If the cruel ridicule was difficult in middle school by the time she hit high school it was too much to bear. When lying down at night all she could hear was the shouts and taunts.  Eventually, those voices won as she tried to commit suicide her senior year.
She was found in the girl’s bathroom at school by the gym teacher and rushed to a hospital. The attempt made things tense between her and her parents, and when she returned back to school she heard many whispers in the halls that she had done it for attention. Etta continued to struggle, but finished out and graduated with her class.
It was over the summer she took time to carefully measure her next step. She knew music was the one thing she loved and was appreciated for by others. Feeling the itch to get out of town she headed two hours north to a small school. It was there something remarkable happened; the bullying which seemed to be relentless back home had completely vanished. Unfortunately, her past made her feel socially inept to handle new people who tried to befriend her. Deciding to work on herself, she began to see a therapist by the name Caleb Moreno. He was immediately taken with her quiet, gentle nature in a matter of months he began to pursue her romantically during their sessions. She had never had a man pay so much attention to her, aside from her father. His attention was flattering and it stirred something in her, and for the first time, he made her feel as if she was deserving of love and affection. Caleb could give her something she had never had before – a sexual relationship. She was hesitant to take that step with him but he did not give up, and after time she decided he was the one.
Caleb changed shortly after they became intimate. He started to become possessive and began to track her time and insisted she move into his home. Much to the credit of the controlling therapist she was not only getting used to being social and enjoying it, but now that Caleb had her he didn’t want to share. The abuse started verbally but soon after turned physical. Her love for him waned, and she made attempts to leave, but he would beat her for even trying. Eventually, she obtained a degree in music and a certification for teaching, but he made it very clear she was not to make use of it. A few years later when she found out she was pregnant. The pregnancy only made Caleb angrier and eventually he beat her so badly she miscarried. Etta’s hopes of having a child and a person in her life who would love her without condition were ripped from her that night.
Once healed, she went to see her father. Her mother had already passed and Martin was getting on in years. He wanted so badly to help his precious little girl that he did the only thing he could think of. He told her the truth about having a brother out in California and told her to run as fast as she could. His name was Johnnie Fiske and he was pretty sure he still lived in Long Beach.
Making an attempt to do something for herself in this life, Etta has fled Florida on the search for the brother she never knew she had. She waited till Caleb went into the office to pack up her 94’ Jetta with some clothes and a few small cherished belongings, her kitten Brahms, and a face full of bruises. Leaving mostly everything she ever knew behind she actually has hope in the future because she is finally making choices based on the things she wants, and not what everyone else expected of her. For the first time on her own the only thing she has is a name and an address
Verse: Post-Apocalyptic Z-Day   Name: Etta Fiske  Age: 27 Occupation: Farmer/Botanist  Location: Mid-West
TW: Suicide Mention
While she would never admit to before Z-day happened, growing up on a farm certainly had its advantages. As a youth, she couldn’t wait to be away from the life that woke her at the crack of dawn with the intention of getting chores done before leaving for school. A lot of that time was spent daydreaming of faraway places like bustling cities or a suburbia really any place but the farm. When the time came she ran off to university in one of those big cities with the expectation of studying chemistry, but found herself graduating with a degree in botany: it was just in her blood.
Postgrad she worked in a hydroponics plant but grew bored within a few years. Her disenchantment with life was only coupled further after a failed engagement. When her mother sent word that her father’s health was failing she knew it was time to head home. Part of her was content that her father was gone before the disease spread throughout the world. Etta and her mother stayed held up along with others that had flocked to the farm for a bit; however, as their numbers grew they were having difficulty sustaining.
On a quiet morning, Etta returned from her chores and was surprised to not find her mom in the kitchen cooking up breakfast. Heading towards her bedroom she stopped outside the door and knocked. When nothing was heard she tried to swing open the door but felt some resistance. Finding it concerning she pushed harder and squeezed herself in the space allotted. Much to her horror, she saw her mother’s body swaying-hanging from a rope. It was too horrific to even scream Etta just shut down and shook her head as warm tears fell from her eyes. Walking over she sat down on her mother’s unslept-in bed. It was all too much.
Etta walked out of the room and out the house and grabbed a motorbike which one of the survivors had ridden in on. She left that farm that morning and has no intention of heading back.

Your Golf Up North Schwag is on the way!
If you would like a chance to win some Golf Up North schwag, you have to subscribe to the newsletter. Subscribe at Golf Up North Newsletter and be on the mailing list for the June 1, 2023 edition.
IT IS SNOWING IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN!
It is May 1st, I was shocked to see snowflakes hitting my deck and sticking! In the first few years of living Up North we did get snow on Mother’s Day a few times, so I guess I should not be complaining too much… yet.
With the crazy weather we have been having, we highly recommend verifying that a course is open before heading out.
Honesty is the best policy
Going to be honest with you all, I forgot I had a newsletter to send out today until yesterday at 4pm. I apologize if it is lacking.
We have been getting some feedback on our newsletters and golf in general. A few folks have asked who I am. In past issues I have mentioned a husband, kids, and grandkids and that I started golfing later in life, but other than that I had not shared much. This newsletter will rectify that.
I also received an email from Diana that asked about woman friendly courses and if I could talk about those courses. We will do that in this issue as well.
Who am I?
I have a short bio that I use in many of my blog posts that pretty well sums up who I am. Today you get the long version. 😊
My name is Marisa (you all probably figured that out from my email LOL), and I moved to Northern Michigan in 1995 from SE Michigan with my husband Steve and our 4 children. Prior to moving north, we vacationed here a lot and always dreamed of moving “Up North.” After moving north, we still vacationed up here taking the kids on mini and long adventures.
I really came to appreciate Northern Michigan and the beauty of what the area had to offer after Steve died. I discovered many amazing trail networks that I could walk for miles screaming and crying while I looked for ways to cope with my loss.
A few years later I met Guy who would eventually become my second husband. We actually got married on the golf course after we hosted a 9 hole scramble with friends and family.
Guy convinced me to give just 9 holes a try and I was hooked. He has golfed for 40+ years and is the contributor for the guy golf trips I talk about.
I know I have mentioned Mother’s Day at the driving range with Steve and the kids, which was true, I just never wanted to try golf back then. Something clicked in my 50’s and I tried it and LOVED it! Discovering golf provided me another place outdoors to spend time. I enjoy all sports and spent years watching various sports on television with the kids.
My Family
At this point we have my 4 kids (1 girl, 3 boys), Guy’s son and 8 grandchildren that make up our family. My 3 boys golf as does 2 daughter-in-laws and one granddaughter and one grandson. Having a lot fun golfing with my kids and their kids and introducing the younger ones to the game.
For as long as I can remember I have been the family writer and poet. Creating the Golf Up North website with the purpose of my easily finding courses to golf at has led to several other websites providing entertainment or information and giving me a creative outlet for my writing.
If you would like to read some of my stories not about golf you can visit Adventures in Northern Michigan and Northern Michigan History.
In future issues we will introduce the other 2 key members of the Golf Up North Team, Josh and Arianna.
Women in Golf
Last week on Facebook I shared an article (you have to sign up for a free trial to read the entire article) about Nancy Henderson’s work to increase female golf participation.
It reminded me of my first-year golfing. I have talked about Guy stressing etiquette and pace of play to me a lot. If I saw someone coming up behind us I would worry that they would see me drive only 100 yards. Would they make an assumption and make a snarky remark? I was concerned not only about holding folks up, but nasty attitudes as well. Early in my golfing career I was lucky to not have experienced that. I did however experience it later.
I have always played rounds fast and do not do practice swings. Figuring out which way the wind is blowing or looking for my ball for more than about 60 seconds is not something I have patience for. If I am not being held up, I can golf 18 holes in about 3 ½ hours or less.
My first year golfing a couple came up behind us and we apologized and asked if they wanted to play through, that I was still new to the game. Both of them stressed that it was okay, and they loved seeing other women on the course. They came by to encourage me, not to complain.
Since that first year I had not had anyone be rude to my face on a course. I have always felt welcomed and encouraged for the most part until last summer.
There can be jerks anywhere, even the golf course
I mentioned this incident in my newsletter about Northport Creek Golf Course. We asked 3 guys if we could go ahead and tee off since they were waiting for their fourth (their tee time was in 5 minutes we were after them).Their knee jerk reaction was to look at me and ask with a just horrible tone and facial expression if I would be playing slow. My knee jerk reaction was forget it, we would wait. As it turned out their foursome were holding up our twosome and never would let us play through. Was it an A-hole move on their part? I thought so.
Of course, whether you are a man or woman I am sure at one time or another you have had the evil eye sent your way, heard the grumbling behind you or have been hit up on. Folks make judgements based on age (young and old), gender and even the quality of the clubs they see on the cart. One of the best golfers I have ever met was 80+ years old, recently recovered from back surgery and was crushing them from the black tees. Looks can be deceiving.
Ignore the Haters
Diana, I believe all courses are women friendly, even the high-level ones and you should golf where you want and have fun. You have just as much right to golf there as they do. I would recommend that you keep practice swings to a minimum, don’t try to find a truly lost ball, and play ready golf. If you do those things the folks behind you have no reason to complain. Plus, you can always let them play through if they are riding up on you or you are slowing them down.
There will always be jerks no matter where you golf, just depends on whether they are there the day you are.
My recommendation to all is to not make assumptions about how things are going to go based on preconceived ideas. Remember what they say about assuming. I have to admit though I thoroughly enjoyed them seeing that I was very capable of maintaining pace of play and if we had gone head-to-head, I may have even beaten a few. 😊
Virginia Golf
I mentioned in our last issue my plans to head to Virginia to get some golf in and try out my new 9 wood. Well, we did exactly that over Easter and of course that was the week it was in the 80’s in Northern Michigan. It was in the 60’s in Virginia Beach.
Regardless of the temperature we were able to get 2 rounds in with one of my boys and I put the 9 wood to the test. Slow start with the 9, but it started coming through for me and I am excited about golfing this season!
Pictured above is Virginia Beach National Golf Course

Two Lights Characters
Tumblr media
Jericho Reginald Morrison
The main deuteragonist in this series, as depicted in the 30th and 31st centuries, is now on planet Earth. He was the oldest son of Jochebed and Arnold and the first husband of Arianna Solcorvauld Morrison, a princess in the Eosia Kingdom.
Jericho was the king consort of Arianna and the real wielder of Moonstone Opal, a kind of Piece of Eden made by Svarog and Parvati a long time ago in the Pliocene on the Balkan Peninsula and scattered abroad before their experiences of mass extinctions.
Jericho wields the claymore from his mother before being broken by Linnalyn Atsiara, Jericho's ex-fiancee, during the final confrontation in Santorini. This weapon in a later story in Hawaii was called "Karakuri-pou", in Japanese: からくり / (karakuri), which means "trick" or "mechanism" and Hawaiian or Maori: ポー (p), which means "night". A fictitious item combining elements from Attack on Titan and Wild Hearts, this weapon was a Hook Dagger. The blade was aiming for stabbing or slicing while the right or left hand struggled with a long hook consisting of claws or talons.
Both translate into English as "Night Trick", because this weapon functions and is more powerful than usual because it only turns on at the beginning of the night (from 7:30 p.m. to 4:50 a.m.). This weapon was created long ago by Hephaestus as Chang'e's secondary weapon and as "Lunarian Gungnir," the ultimate manifestation of Karakuri-pou, as Odin's third weapon. It was of Aesir origin.
Chang'e passed the weapon to Tsukiyomi, a Japanese moon god, and the mortal named Catherine of Alexandria, a saint and princess, who is the first user, and some Eurasian users possess the Karakuri-pou or Harpoon Dagger. Jericho Morrison is the descendant of Elizabeth II and the Marcos family, the first Asians to use this weapon, and the only hope to destroy the threats in Hawaii and the Galapagos Islands from Hawaiian invasive species and villains. This weapon was converted to Moon Gungnir, a long-range melee weapon and variant replica of Gungnir, as Odin's first weapon and Chang'e's only weapon, due to its Terran origin.
Jericho Morrison, who only possesses the moonstone opal, lunar water, and solar eclipse, was turned into a Lunarian Idol as a result of killing his former old friends by Anningan Bautista, a demon from Aotearoa during the Muromachi period.
Unfortunately, the Japanese government's desire to convert Native Hawaiians and Ilocano people to Shintoism led to the demise of the Lutheran and Presbyterian churches in the Fifth Hawaiian Republic. And used by kaguras, a dancer, to perform a ritual ceremonial dance for any gods in the Japanese Empire and Hawaiian Islands. Back in the past, this weapon was Chang'e's secondary weapon used for her threats from Nergal, Satan, and Surtur; there are antagonistic deities in Muspelheim.
According to Poliahu, a goddess knows that Jericho and Arianna have disorders of the same brokenheartedness that Tangled the Series and Worldcraft started until she arrives with her daughter Rapunzel and her adopted son Varian into Reinachos after three years of experience with Berbanian/Hirawhassan, Reinachan/Ityoselese and Terran characters in Reinachos.
Jericho, a despicable human creature, has no magical abilities; he learnt the trade despite being incredibly educated; yet, he is under the influence of fairies due to his night vision and superhuman strength for everyone. His magic was constructed using elements from nature, known as Karakuri magic, to aid in fighting. Because of his life, Jericho aids his best friends Sarah and Emily Blair and offers her skills for fending against larger animals and aliens.
The Karakuri strings of Jericho are only visible to its owner and other demigods of Conservationist Hunter ancestry; they are invisible to daylight, ordinary people, and other races, even animals, though they can still interact with ordinary objects. This enables the user to use their moonstone karakuri without the vast majority of people seeing. Normal people have compared the prosaic use of a moonstone karakuri by Jericho and his families and associates to a poltergeist event.
Jericho restored his moonlight powers when Arianna and he reunited after separation, and Rapunzel's comeback against Roxana Maldado and her allies He was enhanced by Khonsu, Mahina, Chang'e, Loki, and Sigyn after he was considered the Moon Warrior of Eurasia.
Jericho had been brought up in the Church of England and was a member of the Church of Scotland before to his conversion to Roman Catholicism in 3020 or his association with Catherine of Alexandria for support his Church of Scotland's membership.
Jericho was born with magical powers, the natural born Moonstone Opal during Ber Months, possesses all elements, and turned his hair into light cyan as a result of triggering with dharma, bioenergy, mana, qi, and the force of Star Wars.
Arianna Solcorvauld Morrison, Princess of Eosia
Arianna was the main protagonist in this series and later the main deuteragonist in the Worldcraft Damnation series for her daughters, Isabella, Nicolette, and Rapunzel.
After the French government annexed her kingdom in the 1780s, Arianna didn't pass away during the French Revolution, and her daughter Rapunzel left with Eugene Fitzherbert and her friends to disperse across the world with some members of the Templar Order and Assassin Order to aid in Rapunzel's security. Arianna didn't pass away, but Napoleon Bonaparte did, so he staged his own fake demise on Saint Helena Island.
Regarding his and Arianna's divine ancestry, Napoleon is immensely interested. One of the French assassins, Arno Dorian, lost his fight with Queen Arianna after discovering her in the middle of nowhere at midnight. Arianna lives the longest until her descendants, including the Punzalan family, who are unaware of her existence, learn that her descendants were half-aswangs.
Willow Solcorvunauld's older sister, Maria Arianna Lorena Solcorvunald Morrison of the Eosia Kingdom, was given this name by her parents, Theodore and Aurelia Solcorvunauld. She was born and raised in France, which was considered the New Corona Kingdom and had alliances with Spain and Monaco.
The oldest known invasive characters up until the events and before the Worldcraft and Two Lights stories were Princess Belle and Varian, not Queen Arianna.
King Frederic of Corona rejected her as an invasive princess and discovered the actual one in the 1780s, as her ancestor was herself, even if she and her sister Willow are from the next century. She is the biological wife of Jericho Morrison, her real husband, and their three biological daughters, Isabella, Rapunzel, and Nicolette Andreponte Morrison. When Isabella learned that Nicolette was her sister, Archie was astonished and decided to go with Nicolette.
The second Arianna arrived on November 17, 2986, which was also the reference of the day Disney Plus was made available in the Philippines.
Ari was the true wielder of Piece of Eden's Reflective Gunblade, the pistol sword of the Pleistocene made by Hephaestus and Aphrodite against Hera; his mom was cheated by Aita, Etruscan god of liars. The Reflective Gunblade, also known as Kahukitanga-hinawaju (Japanese Scripts: カフキタンガ火縄銃; New Zealand Scripts: カフキタンガ カラエヘプー, lit. "reflex musket"), made by Hephaestus long ago in the Pleistocene epoch during preemptive international war, was the only signature weapon of Princess Arianna Solcorvauld. It was never again allowed to be used until Ari was selected by one of their predecessors. Despite the term being a combination of Japanese and Maori phrases that have been translated into English, Koreans only refer to this fabled weapon by its Korean, Japanese, and Maori names, which is preferable to local names.
This weapon is of ancient astronauts origin and is a legendary weapon made by Hephaestus for Balder a long time ago and hidden in the Galapagos Islands Republic at their own ancient vault stronghold before the Spanish arrived.
It was first held by Ninlilalla, the only lady and first Asian to possess this weapon before it was hidden in secret; secondly, it was named Bak Hoon Kim (밬훈김); thirdly, Echo Macaraeg; and lastly, the only non-Asian and Pacific Islander to hold the mysterious pistol sword was Queen Arianna, the first European to hold the mysterious pistol sword, but it was unbreakable due to being made of scales from Kushala Daora with adamantium, iron, copper, bronze, ameth, vibranium, and Zealandium, a rare metal originated from New Zealand, as made by deities.
Princess Arianna gains the ability to call lightning strikes from the surrounding horizon when she transforms into a sundrop. Ari was able to summon several bolts from the sky and briefly subdue enemies with an improved sundrop bullet.
The bullet that can penetrate through the toughest materials, even Delphium metals, or the toughest enemies that cannot be defeated by Arianna Reflective gunblades can also draw environmental electricity and lightness from the surrounding atmosphere and redirect it towards a specific goal. Due to their deity or Aesir ancestry, Jericho and Arianna bring their hands together to form a magical shield to block missiles and magical attacks.
Arianna was now the queen of Eosia Kingdom, and the natural-born Sundrop, as a result of being consumed by her mother Theodora, was born with all elements and turned her hair blonde as a result of being triggered with dharma, bioenergy, mana, qi, and the force of Star Wars.
Yosef Buenaventura
Jericho's childhood friend, and Clarissa's husband, he was father of Archibald, Arnold, and Allison. His weapon was the legendary weapon made by Hephaestus, called Spear of Aristotle, but it was originated from Peru. He was Duke of Cornwall.
Rooted in the Hebrew name Yosef, meaning "Jehovah shall add," Joseph represents several beloved and just figures, due to repopulate plants and fungi.
Yosef lacks magical powers; his memory is inspired by Matilda Wormwood. Yosef was a real magic-born user and used his telekinesis to re-grow plants or fungi due to his mom's origin.
His minds were pasts because he was clairvoyant enough to get the future events and predict them for future generations, unless we can learn from his great-grandmother, Guinevere.
Clarissa Jasmin, Duchess of Cornwall – The real princess of her kingdom were her parents die by unknown reasons. She was wife of Yosef Buenaventura for herself. She holds a handing fan made by Amaterasu, known as Storm Repeller Blades, a kind of Piece of Eden.
Doron Nachman – Yosef's old bestfriend, and a Jewish fighter. He was born with genetic variation and he was very poisonous, his skin and organs other than reproductive organs, and hand if triggers are venomous. His mom die by overeating the mutated pufferfish from Japan and New Zealand. He was brother-in-law of Yosef and Jericho for there respective wives.
Wilhelmina Solcorvauld – Wilhelmina is the princess of Eosia Kingdom and youngest sister of Arianna and sister-in-law of Jericho Morrison, and aunt of three daughters and aunt-in-law of Archibald Buenaventura. She was based on from herself from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure.
Murugayan Morrison – The youngest brother of Jericho Morrison, and uncle of Arianna and Jericho's daughters. He also holds his father's quarterstaff-turned-cane, the epic weapon made from scraps of adamantine and Damascus steel.

September is Arianna appreciation month, right? Are there any prompts for fanfics or fanart?
Technically, yes it is. We had it two consecutive years. Unfortunately, the person who started it doesn't really participate in the Tangled fandom much anymore, so no prompts have been laid out.
However! This doesn't mean we can't still appreciate Arianna! Feel free to post headcanons, fanart, fics that focus on her, whatever you like! ♥

A Soggy Request
Fandom: Tangled/ Tangled the Series/ Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure Word Count: 1094 Rating: Y+
When two men want to marry Arianna, she opts to stay at home rather than watch a duel in the rain.
~*~*~
It had been raining for five days straight, but Arianna couldn’t be bothered to care. She was feeling too surly and hiding it as best as she could. Fortunately for her, diplomacy was a strong point of hers.
Unfortunately for her, Wilhelmina was being deliberately annoying, enjoying getting a rise out of her big sister.
“I think it’s romantic,” she declared, for something like the twenty-seventh time. Arianna hadn’t bothered to keep count.
“I think it’s stupid,” she reiterated. “And I wish you’d stay out of it.”
The “it” in question was a duel that, as far as the young noblewoman knew, was going on right now, in this stormy, wet weather. A duel that she neither requested, required, nor approved of. A duel for her hand.
“It doesn’t matter who wins,” she grumbled, burying her nose in her book, despite the fact that she couldn’t focus on the words in front of her face. “I’m not going to automatically accept. And I’m going to tell off whoever dares to show up on that doorstep.”
Especially in this weather!
Willow’s tone was light and coy when she replied, from her chosen spot by the window, “Well then, you’d better get all that anger ready to go, because here comes the victor.”
“Who is it?”
The question was out before Arianna could stop herself, and she was annoyed at how eager she sounded to find out. The real question was, who would she enjoy telling off more? Crown Prince Trevor of Equis, or the young King Frederic of her own home, Corona, who thought it was his right to defend her honor without even asking if she wanted it defended!
And what made it worse was that her parents were actually encouraging it! A good match, they said. Marrying above her station. Settling down. She’d be princess at worst, and at best, she’d be the Queen!
There was a booming knock on their manor’s front door, and Arianna felt herself tense up.
“I thought you wanted me to stay out of it,” Willow teased her, and laughed when the older woman huffed and got out of her cozy chair to answer the door.
Marching, her heels clicking on the marble floor as she did, she tried rehearsing what she was going to say. But not knowing who was standing there made it hard to do that. For all she knew, it was some luckless traveler, and not the duel’s victor. She could hear Willow following her, and that just raised her ire. She got to the foyer just behind Charles, their manservant.
“Thank you, Charles, I’ll take care of this,” she informed him. Whatever it was.
She opened the door to a boom of thunder and steeled her look so she’d be properly cross with whoever dared to stand there.
It was the young king, kneeling on the step.
Arianna crossed her arms. “Can I help you?” she wondered icily.
“Arianna,” he said, and despite the rich bass of his voice, despite his soulful blue eyes, and the water dripping off his hair and dueling clothes, she refused to be moved. “I did not come here to ask for your hand, but to ask… your forgiveness.”
From behind his back, he pulled a rose. It had seen better days (though, to its credit, it bowed its head with the same apology that Frederic did). Perhaps it was meant to be a romantic gesture, or to show how genuine he was being. But despite the pitiful sight in front of her, Arianna found herself giggling, then laughing.
“What? What did he do?” Willow asked from behind her, her voice echoing off the high ceiling. Frederic looked as confused.
“Come inside,” Arianna sighed her mirth away. “You’re soaked to the skin. It wouldn’t do to knowingly allow His Majesty to catch a cold.”
Relieved, Frederic got to his feet. “Do you, uh… want the rose?” he wondered sheepishly.
Arianna regarded it a long moment, then nodded. “I think I’ll dry it out,” she told him, letting the double meaning strike him. She could press it (or a part of it) in her journal. She took the flower and tucked it in the ribbon around her waist. He fell in step beside her as she led him back to the fire in the drawing room.
The truth was, she liked Frederic. She’d enjoyed the evening they’d spent dancing at the Solstice ball last year, and their strolls in the palace gardens since then. He’d invited her and her family to the castle for dinner multiple times. The fact was, he was charming and sweet, and until this whole duel nonsense came up, he’d been wooing her correctly.
“So, you won, then?” she asked aloofly. But it was rude not to make conversation.
“Er, technically, yes.”
“Only technically?”
“He slipped in the mud and twisted his ankle before we even started and had to forfeit.”
She smiled to herself. It served that pompous fool right. But at least she didn’t laugh this time. “And it took you this long to come claim your prize?” she pressed, her tone not changing.
“Arianna,” he sighed. “I’m sorry, alright? You’re absolutely right, that you aren’t a trophy to be handed over at the close of a contest. I was trying to show him that by accepting the duel! Not… actually duel for your hand! I was never under the impression that the victor would automatically get to marry you! I wanted to teach him a lesson, that that’s not how a gentleman treats a lady!”
And then he had to go and say things like that. She wanted to stay cross, but it wasn’t working. Frederic was too good at getting under her skin. “Oh, Freddy,” she sighed in reply. “And you were doing so well with us until then.”
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him hesitate a moment, and then he took her hand and tugged her to a stop, facing him. “Can you ever forgive me?”
Another smile tugged at the corner of her lips, and she shook her head at those blue puppy eyes. “Of course I can,” she answered.
“Does this mean you’re engaged now?” Willow asked dreamily, and Arianna suddenly realized that she’d forgotten her sister was there. She turned scarlet.
“No!” she snapped, remembering how irritated she was earlier. She cleared her throat and turned her gaze back to the tall man before her. “Not yet.”
“But there’s a yet?” he asked hopefully.
“No more duels,” she told him.
“No more duels,” he agreed.
