“As Empire Forces Battled for Malaya,” Kingston Whig-Standard. March 25, 1942. Page 11.
----
These photographs are among the first to arrive from Malaya to show how Australian Imperial forces battled against the Japanese invaders as the empire still fought to hold Malaya. The bottom photograph shows an Australian anti-tank gun in action dominating a road down which clanks a column of Jap tanks. A road block of felled trees delays the tanks long enough for the gun to pick them off like ducks in a shooting gallery.. At the top the tanks are shown —after having served as targets for the gunners. A dead Jap lies beside one of the shattered tanks.

mw3 was completely rushed (i mean the cast ate as usual they never miss) but releasing it a year after mw2 was a terrible decision they should have given it more time
You know, I feel this exact way about so many franchises lately it's honestly unreal. I'd rather wait a while for something knowing that it's going to be great than to instantly have something mediocre in my hands as quickly as they can cobble it together.
I will say, though. Price's ass is still something I'd love to sink my teeth into. That was a genuine highlight. And that's really it.

Could you imagine being one of the first guys to see a military tank in action. You think surely it can't get any worse. It's war. And then they bust out the apparatus

Trying and failing and failing and failing to find any f/f books that i want to read because they suck or theyre badly written or they're shitty fantasy or not fantasy makes me go ok. Well I guess i should finish my book. If I write it. And then dont look at it for a year, i can read it and really enjoy it.

“Jap Drive Moves Closer To Singapore,” Kingston Whig-Standard. January 28, 1942. Page 1.
----
The guns of war sounded close to Singapore as Japanese invaders of Malaya clashed with British defenders in this area immediately north of the island base. New Japanese advances today moved the battle area within 50 miles of the naval base.

every day the world should be thankful that drath doesn't have a glamour because she would be so so so worse. it's bad enough she can disguise herself to look vaguely human, but if she could walk around bold as brass and we'd be none the wiser we'd be royally fucked.
