For as short a game as Rogue was, to the point where they were just copying assets and UI/UX to save time, they really did give Shay a shit ton of clothes. Not even just recolors or simple renders either, like they were attaching stuff to his face and remeshing his hair and adding fur and different length fabrics-- none of that is easy. I feel like there was one single character designer at Ubisoft who made it their personal passion project to bust out as many outfits as possible and I kind of love them for it.

It may be a touch underwhelming but I worked far too hard on this to not wear it.

Although I always love the black outfits so that's a plus. And it'll be kind of amusing to assassinate De Molay fanboy Germain in this.

i am 99% sure the moment every Unity player had gotten the Shay outfit, we all envisioned an AU where he was Elise's Templar bodyguard

Probably gonna sound a bit weird here, but, anyone else just have a thing for Ezio's boots in the AC2 trailer?? Have some music playing as I write, and literally every video with Ezio shows the scene where he jumps off the beam at the end and kinda does a 'superhero landing', and I'm always just like 'ugh, those boots.' Everyone else has to have an aspect of an AC character's clothes they just can't explain liking so much, right...?

I guess it could be the same boots if Ezio was to flip the collar?

As for... aspect of an AC character's clothes I can't explain liking so much... I was thinking of Hope Jensen's Assassin Robes but I can easily explain that as me having a soft spot for her kind of clothing design (the frills, it's the goddamn frills and ribbons).

And then I remember...

I really like the yellow fabric on Bayek's default outfit.

I don't really know why? It just looks... nice to me.

goddamn travesty really that you really only get Altair's and Bayek's costumes to dress up in for the Chocobros bc it would be very fun to put them in various Assassins' iconic outfits. I think Prompto would look fantastic in Edward Kenway's outfit.

I'm back with another niche crossover

Earlier this year I got really into Assassin's Creed. I don't know all the games yet, mostly I know the first ones. But my friend got me to try out Unity, which takes place during the French Revolution.

But you see, a couple weeks ago, I read Rose of Versailles, the manga. Which takes place during the leadup to the French Revolution.

So I uhhh

Hey Berubara fans what do you think of my Assassin Oscar?

The fact that her story ends when Unity begins, in the Fall of the Bastille, wasn't lost on me. Oh my god she literally died breaking Arno out.

The idea is that instead of dying, she survives, and joins the Assassin Brotherhood - which she was completely unaware of before that day. Bernard was probably the one who revealed it to her. I can imagine him being an Assassin, or allied to them, because of the whole Black Knight schtick.

Before then, her family was probably - albeit unknowingly - in the Templar's pockets, as they ran Versailles in the shadows.

Her outfit was inspired by the colors of the alpine swift. My friend gave me the idea. They’re fast, small, strictly carnivorous. I liked the idea of going with a bird theme for the Assassins.

Oscar died in the least problematic moment, at the start of the Revolution, believing the citizens would fight and be free after she was gone. I loved how glorious her death was, but couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if she were to actually live through the French Revolution (provided she survived her tuberculosis), and face the consequences of her actions - of disobeying her family and going against the royalty. I would have liked to see that.

Is it just me, or does Arno have a fat head? It's just... his head is very round, with chubby cheeks. Is he actually old enough to have a drinking problem? Or is he just part chipmunk?

Monsieur de la Serre died when Arno was 20~21 so we’re in the clear even if the 1700s had a lower age restriction.

I wanna say Arno has chubby cheeks because he had a cushy life as a ward of the de la Serre but, then again, he was pretty much used as an errand boy and can already parkour by then.

Another possible explanation is that he’s wearing clothes that actually don’t fit him?

Like, this is his pre-Assassin clothes (there’s a lot of creases which might mean he’d been wearing these clothes since he was a bit smaller):

In conclusion, Arno looks the best, in my opinion, with a bigger set of outfits and a larger hood.
