It's cyanotype season… or not, lol. Just dropped my plates off at Art Access for the 300 Plates fundraiser. Joke was kind of on me this year. I normally plan ahead and make cyanotypes for this spring show in the fall. Got really busy with weekend travels last fall and didn't get it done. No big deal, there will be some fun early spring things in my garden, right? Flash forward to the year of massive snow… Still waiting for spring and I found myself digging in the snow to unearth the few hardy plants in my yard… Then of course had to make many prints to get two I liked. Art stress! Lesson (re) learned, always plan ahead, don't procrastinate!

I actually managed to complete an 'art goal'. I've always wanted to participate in 300 Plates, Art Access Gallery's annual fund raiser and favorite gallery stroll of mine. When I became crazy about cyanotypes last summer I created a few that hoped might get accepted to the show, and they did. Woot! Here they are mounted to the plates, sealed and ready to be dropped off tomorrow.
