Theory: What if the piano and the music Ivory plays in it is a metaphor of the events happening in the story?

In episode 1, someone pointed out that the one time we heard her play the piano, she played the first notes of Mountain Ash, half-confirming that she plays all the soundtracks we hear on the entirety of Whitepine

All the soundtracks are also named after trees, making it that Ivory might have remembered all the names of the trees(like how she was taught of that in 'another life', connecting the dots that Whitepine is connected to Ivory's main lore)

And going back to episode 1, she played the piano after being in the household for more than a day, meaning she already had first impressions of some of the inhabitants and it's general vibe

So my take is: Ivory makes the music based on her experiences, thus why a majority of the soundtracks feel "dull" or like something feels wrong, because something is wrong, why Northern Hackberry sounds so dreamy and lively(She hung out with Vi while the soundtrack was playing), the overstimulation she felt while Wych Elm was playing, how Pignut Hickory is one of the longest soundtracks so far(MORE THAN 9 MINUTES???) as to respect and mourn Mysty's death, etc.

It’s how Arthur is so soft, for me.

He didn’t take the decision to be a warrior, he was made into one. He’s stoic, he doesn’t laugh with his knights, he doesn’t go to the tavern, he doesn’t interact with women because it’s forbidden to him, he doesn’t have friends, or maybe he does have them, but he’s unaware, and then comes Merlin.

And he looks at him. Merlin looks at Arthur, he actually dissect him like an experiment on a physician’s work table.

Arthur is stunned, he’s speechless. And he longs to be soft. He longs to touch Merlin, to hug him, to tell him “I miss you”, to confess his secrets, to make him undress him both physically and mentally. Arthur’s eyes are round and they sparkle and the corners of his mouth lift so gently, Merlin gets to see it, and Arthur wishes for him to act on it, because he can’t.

It’s forbidden. But Merlin doesn’t know.

So he hugs him, he smiles at him, he makes him laugh, he brings him on adventures.

Merlin treats Arthur with care, and he makes him his eternal love. Arthur loves him because he doesn’t see him as a warrior.

He sees him as a human.
