J: I'm perfectly fine. Little One is just kickin' around in there today more than usual. Feel?

J: (nods) I know.

A: Just tell me if you need anything, anything at all, and I'll make it happen. Okay?

J: Well...

A: (amused) Well?

J: I did see the cutest pair of baby booties in that store window over there.

J: And they might have some other stuff too, for the nursery

A: You wanna go take a look?

J: You know I can't resist a good bargain.

J: And then after, tacos?

A: Sounds perfect to me.

Dear Diary,

If prom was awesome, the afterparty was even awesomer. We all went to Arun's place and hung out in the basement. I learned how to play beer pong, and I'm really bad at it. I also learned how to do a line - I'd never done coke before but Arun had some and everyone else was trying it, so I thought, why not, right? It was crazy. I can't even describe it. But it gave me the courage to go and kiss Ava, right in front of everyone. And she kissed me back! We even made out in a closet.

What an awesome night.

I overshot my curfew a bit and didn't get back until the sun was up. My moms were PISSED. I'm grounded for like a month. WORTH IT!

2A Jasmine Suites

Welcome to 2A Jasmine Suites, home of the Bheeda family!

When I started this apartment renovation last night, I decided I was only going to use pack items and one CC creator only. If you're familiar with my builds and Sims, you might have an idea of how difficult that is for me.

I gravitated towards the M&S Construction set by @charlypancakes for the doors and archways, so the rest of the apartment is furnished with a myriad of her other creations as well (love Arun having a soak in the SOAK bathtub....yum). Honestly, I think this came out very well. I didn't over clutter or over furnish, as I imagine Arun and Jesminder were scrimping and saving every extra penny they had for Baby Bheeda's room. Baby's room is probably my favorite of the entire renovation. I love that Jesminder and Arun put a picture of themselves right above Baby's crib (I'm feeling sentimental today).

Given my self-imposed restrictions, I think I did pretty well on this apartment renovation. As soon as I figure out who will be living next door, I plan to use the same build items for the bones of the apartment, but mayhaps I will limit myself to another CC creator for the furniture and decor. We shall see!

This "room" is not yet on The Gallery, I'm still a bit skittish about reconnecting, but I'll get there eventually.

The three of them migrated to the bedroom. Both August and Arun put their hands on Celine, groping and kissing her.

August laid back on the bed, while Celene and Arun focused on each other.

Celene looked at August, silently seeking approval.

August nodded, and whispered, "climb on top of him."

So she did.

August watched the two of them, adding occasional words of encouragement, until they flopped on the bed, exhausted.

"That was so hot, babe."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, come here." August pulled Celene on top of him, while Arun made himself comfortable.

the Simblr Office is one of the several he’s contracted with, so he’s only there a couple times a month. but it’s his favorite company to work at.

clocks out the exact second his shift is over. He’s only there for the (large) paycheck.

Has his wedding picture framed on his desk.

Designed the t-shirts for the company BBQ

Always has herbal tea in a thermos, and an essential oil diffuser in his office.

Super cool with all the interns, and knows what they get up too during their “breaks” 👀

Has several polariods of his wife and the baby’s ultrasound in his wallet (and will take every opportunity to show everyone)

Gets invited to the holiday party every year, and gets stoned with half the staff.

Brings the best food to every pot luck, curtesy of Jesminder of course. And everyone always asks to try his food at lunch because it smells amazing.

Bheeda Low-CC Makeover

With a new baby and a tiny city apartment, Jesminder & Arun have made space for their bundle of joy. Arun works as a programmer, often bringing home new tech to fiddle with. As the new parents care for Samira, Jesminder can't decide between returning to her lucrative bartending job or staying at home to brush up on her painting--and watching her baby's every milestone. Will this little family plant roots where they are, or will they make some big changes?

Arun & Jesminder are first-time parents to baby Samira. Jesminder's exhausted but constantly-racing mind is mulling over how long to stay at home before returning to work. She loves her bartending job. She's charismatic enough to make conversation with anyone, and volatile enough to get rid of rowdy patrons.

But maybe that was her old, pre-motherhood life? Maybe she should be a stay-at-home mom. She could return to painting after all these years. She would ask Arun for help deciding, but he only ever wants what will make her happy, and he tells her so.

Arun essentially worships his wife. When his life was the monotonous and mundane routine of a white-walled cubicle, she showed up and brought a whole lot of color into his world. Ever since they fell in love, Arun has been as inspired as ever, creating software projects he never would have thought of before.

(As Arun's friends tease him about his ball & chain, they don't know that that's what he's into. *wink*)

Dear Diary,

Last night was AWESOME. My moms were out for some event thingy, so I invited some friends over for a halloween costume party. Jing brought a keg and we got totally messed up. I don't even remember most of it, but my keyboard smells like beer now, I think I puked in my spidey-mask, and I found a lip ring under my pillow.

This morning I got a pretty stern lecture from my moms. They were worried about me when they got home, I guess. And now I'm grounded.

TOTALLY WORTH IT.
