ASAU redesigns!

Hey everyone! We've been thinking about this for a while, and we've decided it would be a good idea to redesign some of our characters so as to be more inclusive and break away from the common WhiteBoi cast of heroes. As with everything we handle in ASAU, we're aiming to treat this change with the respect it deserves. To that end, here are some of the redesigns! Sky and Fae will probably be our most dramatic changes, and we hope you like them!

His daughters take after their parents. They’re very sweet little girls, but they k n o w they’re cute and they know how to use that. Sky is going to have his hands full when puberty sets in bc they’re ALREADY sarcastic and witty and they’re still babies. They’ve already “complimented” his hair while he makes them breakfast on more than one occasion.

So...I recently received some not so great news and am feeling kinda down and was wondering if you guys had any fluff headcannons for the chain? Also I absolutely loved the latest chapter of Con! Ravio, legend and warriors are so freakin cute!!!!!!!

idk if these are headcanons but here's some cute stuff/scenarios

CONFIDENTIAL SPOILERS IF YOU ARE NOT CAUGHT UP (most recent chapter is 34)

Wind and Wars need to hug. Wind has had far too many Things happening on this quest to not receive them and he really looks up to Wars, but he's doing the Teenage Boy thing of not asking for affection bc he's trying to act adult. He's 17, still a kid fr, and Wars needs to hug him and tell him he loves him and is proud of him. The same thing needs to happen w Time and Wars fr (and they might have gotten that a little when Wars went off to talk to him in the orchard after that blow up) but I've been thinking abt Wind and Wars since he got spooked by Twilight, okay. It has been a thought on my mind for a LONG time.

Please please think about the chain going back to Sky's era and Twi chatting with Sun and playing with Sky's kids. He Loves kids, he is so good with them fr, he'd think Polly and Sola are delightful (if energetic together). Think about his Thing with Sky. Think about how Sky would feel watching Twilight laugh and entertain all of them and then look over at Sky with this bright, happy smile. There are butterflies in Sky's stomach and he can't get them to go away. He's gotta talk to Sun about this wolfman STAT jxgxgdjssb. Same vein, Sky meeting Hazel and getting teased by Telma and aggressively assessed by Dusk.

Ooh! We talked about this the other day. Wars learning violin and he and Legend playing together! Legend on piano or cello 🥰 My mans Warriors can't play wind instruments but he should get to try all the types before giving up on playing music, especially with a musical savant bf

If you are feeling down, we have just the thing! Piggybacking off of Kio, I’m gonna tell you something about the Hero of Warriors. This is a man who loves music. Adores it to pieces. He grew up around it if in a very everyday sense, because his mother hummed and sang as she went about her day around the house. He doesn’t know it because she liked to improvise and mashup melodies, but he actually grew up listening to what essentially amounts to the soundtrack of the rest of the chains adventures. As such, he has a VERY keen ear for melody and gasp, the whiteboi has RHYTHM !! if Legend could just get him to pick up a string instrument (Any string instrument, sized for his hands and devoid of having to blow any kind of air into it), he would be a very happily surprised savant.

If that isn’t enough, then I feel obligated to impart to you this snapshot into New Parents Sun And Sky.

For the first year and a half, despite having two fully functional cribs for their two daughters, the baby furniture sat gathering dust at night. Why, might you ask— and I’ll happily tell you.

It’s because they were both so enamored with the cute and terrified at how small the twins were, that they were afraid to be outside of arms reach of them and thus the babies slept in between them. Sun and Sky would curl up, more or less fetal position but not quite, and create a barrier between themselves and the scary long drop from the bedside to the floor.

Their daughters slept right in the middle of a mommy and daddy heart shape, and I just think that’s neat. ❤

I've got a ref in the works for Wild, and initially i intended to do all of them in the beginning but it was definitely more work than anticipated. I want to at least have official art that someone could use for all of them eventually but it might take some time. I think there's enough art out there of Legend and Wars that they don't need one per se (and Twilight too) but *shrug*. I've had a height lineup of the whole cast forever (from like those sites that let you plug in characters and compare them) and I've wanted to do something with that but,,,,, it's so much vdnvkdnlvds

so I'D LIKE TO. It just might take a bit.

I can whip one up right quick! Not all of them have names yet and some are fanon accepted names but there are a couple ones that are original! (If you think of a cool name for one of those who don't have one, feel free to drop it in the ask box and it may be considered!!)

What is Sky doing after his marriage?

Makin' babies. As he should 👀

Xgdgsbsb but yeah he's about 25 rn so he and Sun got married fairly young. They live on the surface but they go back and forth between the surface and Skyloft fairly frequently (bc everything they need is not on the surface and plus everyone they know is on Skyloft). They decided to have the twins on Skyloft for the best care possible (and best moral support bc new parent jitters).

But other than being married af and having kids, I think he'd wanna explore the surface with Sun under actually good conditions without monsters chasing them. They wanna make a life there and see what it has to offer outside of the danger associated w the quest.

I feel like Sky would have a pidgeot or a braviary

I personally am not a fan of pidgeot so I would give him one exactly never, (I blame Pokémon Go when it first came out bc that was literally the only Pokémon that would spawn in my neighborhood) but I LOVE braviary!! Yes, yes ABSOLUTELY he has a braviary!! (Bonus: Sun has a shiny one 😉)

Wouldn't it makes sense for sun to have an Arceus cause of her being hylia reborn? Also Oot Ganon would have either Garitina or Yvetal. Just saying. :3

So, I don't think Sun would be so presumptuous as to attempt to catch the God Mon itself, BUT, Kio and I agree that it would decide it liked her based off vibes. They'd chill.

OOT Ganon would probably have Giratina alone bc he would be petty and try to use Yveltal as a death slingshot just to dunk on a little kid with a sword.
