Año nuevo lunar

Es una de las fechas más celebradas e importantes en Asia, coloquialmente llamado año nuevo chino. Se festeja en países como China, Japón y Corea. Pero antes que nada, ¿qué es el año nuevo lunar?. Pues básicamente es el día en que para estos países, entre otros, se marca un nuevo comienzo en sus vidas. En cuanto a las fechas, pues es algo variable ya que un dato interesante sobre esta festividad es que está basado en un calendario lunisolar. Sin embargo, sucede siempre entre el 21 de enero y 20 de febrero. Entonces podemos decir que es una festividad que no sabes exactamente cuándo será, pero justamente eso es lo divertido, ¿no? La familia sea el continente que sea, es algo muy valioso para cada uno y es por eso que tienen la tradición de reunirse para cenar la tarde previa al Año Nuevo Lunar. A pesar de que es una festividad que se celebra en diferentes países pertenecientes a Asia, cada uno tiene diferentes características lo cual hace que tengan algo único y especial ese día. Así que veremos cuáles son esos detalles que diferencian a cada uno. Empecemos con China, aprovechan un festival llamado “Festival de las linternas”, para trasladarse a sus ciudades de origen y disfrutar el tiempo con su familia y juntos recibir el año nuevo lunar. 

Algo muy interesante es que según el calendario chino, estamos en el año 4717 y a cada año le corresponde uno de los 12 animales del zodiaco chino. El animal que representa este año es el cerdo.

¡Llegamos a Japón! Los japoneses para empezar el año con las mejores energías acostumbran a realizar una limpieza general y muy profunda de toda la casa. Sí, cada polvo importa para ellos. Luego de tener la casa impecable colocan pinos decorativos conocidos como kadomatsu, representando la longevidad. Para contextualizar mejor, se podría comparar con el árbol de navidad, ya que ellos desde el 14 de diciembre hasta el 14 de enero. ¡Aunque nosotros a veces nos pasamos!

Ahora hablaremos sobre cómo se vive en Corea, pues aquí lo disfrutan el triple. ¿Por qué digo esto? Pues porque aquí se celebra durante 3 días. Durante estas mini vacaciones, los coreanos comen un bol de sopa de pastel de arroz. Aunque no solo es un simple bol de sopa, sino que para ellos tiene un significado más profundo, y es que simboliza el hecho de ser un año más mayor. También representa una vida larga y saludable. Un dato interesante es que los miembros mayores de la familia les dan a los más pequeños dinero de año nuevo. Es la forma que tienen de ofrecer bendiciones y buenos deseos.

Así que pudimos ver que por más que cada país tenga ciertas características y fechas diferentes de celebración, en el Año Nuevo Lunar todas las familias se reúnen para disfrutar este día y poder comenzar una nueva etapa de vida juntos.
