I have noticed that here in Tumbrl there is no LATAM fandom of Asimov's books and I will have to learn to write in English or help me with the translator and other stuff.
Whatever, my hiperfijacion whit Elijah and Daneel is quite good because I love them and now I have read the last 2 books of the series of Daneel and Baley because before he had not been able to due to two very important factors.
1) The books that my dad left me were the first and in Spanish lately they are very difficult to get physically. ( In addition, in those years it was more difficult to find them because in my country they did not make a translation as such or the ones that existed were from Spain and they were also very difficult to find)
2) Fortunately, a friend lent me her Kindle and finally after many years, because I read them when I was 14 and thanks to that she made me a fan of reading and that series of books.
And I think that here in Tumbrl I will start to put all the posts I have made in threads because my world really turned to those books that despite That I read them many years ago, fortunately with the technology of today I was able to pick them up and I don't regret anything, even if we are few in the fandom, I no longer feel as lonely as when I was 14.
I really love so muc Daneel Olivaw, Elijah Baley, Giskard, Hari Seldon, Dors Venabili, Salvor Hardin, Gladia.
I will do my best.

Poem I wrote based on Elijah and Daneel
Tumblr media
This is written from Elijah’s perspective. And I wrote it as a sonnet because they’re typically love poems. I don’t know why, but I like the idea of Elijah writing poetry about Daneel believing he’s only doing so out of admiration for Daneel, when in reality he’s just in love and hasn’t accepted it yet.

Very funny that Robots of Dawn Asimov *can* remember the details of one thing that happened in Caves of Steel and it's that Elijah saw Daneel's dick in the communal bathrooms

Struggling to turn your idea into something extraordinary but unsure where to start? It’s simpler than you think. I often rely on artificial intelligence for assistance, and it rarely disappoints. However, there’s an important caveat: AI has boundaries. Just like Asimov’s robots, there are certain research areas it’s programmed to avoid.
What are these restricted areas? It varies, but AI typically steers clear of topics like human trafficking, weapon-related violence, love and seduction, and explicit content such as pornography. It’s designed this way to ensure ethical and responsible use, so don’t expect answers on these subjects.
How do you navigate this limitation? It’s all about how you frame your request. Sometimes, rephrasing your question or clarifying your intent can help AI provide the information you need—within its ethical guidelines, of course. Experiment with your wording and approach until you find a way to align your query with what AI can assist you with. It’s a matter of working with the system, not against it.

YES YES YES I stan good screen adaptation of robot series with my life, been talking about it since forever ago.
And yes we will only allow the most devoted nerd make it without changing a single bit of the og story. The stories are all rather linear and not hard to understand for non-asimov fans. OoOooO the POTENTIAL
Don’t you wish sometimes that Asimov’s robot series, and specifically the Elijah Baley trilogy, would get a screen adaptation despite all the surely warranted fear that it’d be crappy, miscast, misdirected, and a total insult to the books? Because it still would likely at least somewhat revitalise the fandom and point more people to the incandescent glory of C/Fe.
(I wouldn’t let anyone but the most dedicated fan near making it, though. I find that only when a genuinely obsessed fan of the original is at the helm that some of the original book’s spirit shines through in a screen adaptation. Their tangible devotion smooths over the inevitable discrepancies and holds true even when I strongly disagree with the interpretation in question on a personal level.)

Daneel and Jander Edit
I made this edit a few months ago but never posted it, so I am now.
I decided to edit Daneel and Jander to the song Alice of Human Sacrifice out of pure boredom and also because I was hyperfixated on the song.

Fastolfe: Do you remember three years ago when we chatted about Earth moving to colonize more worlds?
How Elijah reacts: Yes. Actually, that conversation inspired me to start a small movement on Earth--
How Elijah *should* react: You mean that time when you fucking drugged me?
