But if the little comic I made taught us anything, it's that, intentionally or not, Joey is going to do his very best to give Slade a heart attack. So I imagine baby Joey would get out of the tub to find his dad or explore when the mood strikes. And as you so eloquently put it, he'd probably flop around like a seal while doing so 😌

Teen joey is too big to flop but if the situation is dire enough he'd definitely get out of the tub.

It just occurred to me that I haven't explained a crucial part of this AU (at least I don't think I have). When Joey is a baby he get's taken by merpeople and Slade thinks he's dead. Like, ten years later Slade accidentally (or maybe not, I haven't decided yet) captures him in the net on his boat and brings him home. They do NOT recognize each other so of course drama ensues✨. But yeah, there's a big stretch of time there were Joey lives at sea.

REAL!! (also thank you!) I think it's something to do with that whole dynamic of the king and lionheart? It's a pretty compelling dynamic. like they're loyal to the core with one another but it's not so much spoken as it is shown.

They're both quite reserved about their true emotions, Nate's own reason for this being his job and Brad, I think, is also similar but also because it doesn't seem to be in his nature to really let himself be vulnerable with more 'mushy emotions'? (he's not very good at expressing directly what he really feels like when he was talking about his ex-girlfriend). He also tends to use sarcasm and such to communicate those feelings with the others (aside from Nate, which really plays into the trust between them).

Like, in that sense, they really get each other. The nature of their positions as leaders mean they have to hold back a lot and through the looks and gazes, it's like letting each other know that the other sees and understands on a deeper level. And like that speaks louder than words. They both see the human underneath and when they interact, it's the human underneath they're talking to and not the persona they each put up.

My friends! spending time with my friends is always a fun time and they make me very happy (❁´◡`❁)

My Minecraft bedrock edition world. I wanted to start a world to just go and get all the achievements and in the beginning I wasn't going to get attached or worry about making pretty builds but... Well I'm attached now and pretty proud of how some of my builds have come along. (maybe I'll post some screenshots if anyone is interested in seeing)

Right now Dungeon Meshi has had me in a strangle hold. I love the characters and world building so much. Its clearly made with so much love and passion. And omg Laios... 💕💕💕

I've recently come up with a new AU for one of my OCs (this particular OC I made like 10 or so years ago and im a lil obsessed with him) and that has been giving me much entertainment and happiness.

Teen mer joey using a skateboard to scoot around on land.

Sorry dear stranger this is not a question 🤭😂 In the current canon of this AU Teen mer Joey does not use/have a skateboard (though it IS a rad idea), and as stated in the previous ask, he mostly flops on the rare occasions he gets out from the tub.

reading vol 4 mp100 & revisiting the big cleanup arc is so... ofc ritsu is vigilant of being used by others, and is distrustful toward those around him. he's seen his brother being taken advantage of for years & is attentive to the signs bc of it. this is very blatant but still posting abt it bc i'll have more thoughts on it later

          Even being fully sized like the rest of the students, Floyd still towers over her. He towers over her even more in her merform. But just...ugh that water doesn't look comfortable. She'll stay in the air where its better.

          Mermaid songs at night are known to turn fairies into bats.           They can still die of disbelief.           Anything and eveything can be a threat to them with how small they are.

Honestly, if they did age, they'd probably be extinct by now. A rather scary thought to the little fae.
