11. Who leaves notes in the other one's lunch? (Bonus: what do they say?) this one is tough for me because i think kara would be the one packing lunches for lena, always trying to make sure she's eating and taking care of herself, but i feel like lena would be the one leaving notes. she doesn't do it as often as kara does, but when kara's stretched thin between supergirl and catco duties, lena will pack up lunches for her. she'd leave notes that say things like "even superheroes need a break sometimes, darling," "if you eat the carrots, a surpise will unlock," and "i love you more than you love these potstickers." kara usually brings lunches and eats with lena, so notes aren't as necessary, but lena has the lunches delivered (always with a handwritten note). sometimes, when she has the time, she'll deliver the lunches herself. she'll give kara a kiss on the cheek before heading back to l-corp or the foundation.

24. Sleeping/cuddling positions? (Big spoon, little spoon, etc.)? okay i think lena is almost always the little spoon (except for when kara is feeling particularly vulnerable or crappy and wants to be held). however, i think their favorite way to cuddle is with lena's head on kara's chest, their legs all tangled together. the weight of lena on top of kara grounds her and reminds her that she isn't just going to float away, that she has a home on earth- a home with lena. and lena likes to listen to kara's heartbeat. kara is in danger so often and she likes the reassurance that she's okay, and unfortunately, lena doesn't have superhearing like kara does.

Love comes in many forms but being in love with someone is entirely different. Part of that person seeps into everything you do. They surround you. Every fibre of your being has a connection to them, you can’t bear to see them suffering and you do everything in your power to protect them. You put them before yourself. And even when they drive you crazy or if they don’t love you back, you wish nothing but happiness for them. // or that unrequited love story that no one wanted but I wrote anyway. (but it has a happy ending, kind of.)

Introverted Feeling (Fi) "I could be a quiet little girl and cook your little meal, and swallow all I feel, and bow to your command - or I could start to scream across the whole damned South and never shut my mouth until they understand." Lucille remains loyal to her husband throughout the show, fighting for him as she begins to find that she is in love with him. She demonstrates a system of morality that remains unaffected by the people of Atlanta, staying true to her own feelings even when the entire world was against her. She is highly in tune with her own emotions, even if sometimes she holds herself back in order to fit in to the roles she finds herself in. She does not consider herself charming or interesting, and is typically rather reserved in her actions. But when she has something to say, she is not afraid to say it, even if it clashes against the rest of the world.

Extroverted Intuition (Ne) "Didn't my wishes come true for me the day he walked throught the door? Isn't he all that I knew he'd be? Brilliant and filled with humility? Loyal and stable as any tree? So why do I wait for more? What am I waiting for?" Lucille is initially restless in her marriage with Leo, finding that even though he's everything he could ask for she is still wanting something more. She feels strongly that there is meant to be more in her marriage, and she ends up finding her love for him in the midst of crisis. She is willing to pursue new opportunities if she believes they will help her in proving Leo's innocence, even going to the governor during a dance. When one thing doesn't work, Lucille tries another, allowing her to make a great deal of progress to prove Leo's innocence. She is the kind to always look ahead to the next event and move herself forward however she sees fit.

Introverted Sensing (Si) "Now look at me, now that you're finally here with me, now that I know I was right to wait and everyone else was so wrong for so long." While Lucille can find ways to enact change in the world, she also is linked to many personal traditions and ideas of the past. Before the death of Mary Phagan, she seems comfortable in her Southern home in contrast to her Yankee husband. Even after everything, she decides that she does not want to leave Georgia as it is still her home. However, she does not always want to fit into the rigid role of the plain housewife, and ends up breaking rule after rule as she advocates for Leo. She takes cues from the past to bring her forward, but inevitably Lucille ends up looking ahead rather than back.

Extroverted Thinking (Te) "You come here with these horrifying stories, these contemptible conceits, and you think you understand how a mans heart beats, and you don't know a thing!" Lucille struggles to find some kind of control as the world around her seems to fall apart due to the murder of Mary Phagan. She knows that she cannot help her husband without some kind of help, finding that her place in the world leaves her unable to have complete control. Lucille's intelligence is undeniable, but she often uses her emotions first and then adds in logic as a second thought. She doesn't follow any sort of rigid plans or stay in one place - she keeps trying new ideas and ways to help Leo in whatever way possible. But even after all she does, she still finds herself unable to prevent Leo's demise and have power over the world.
