An old piece of fanart I created of genderswapping boys and men from obscure, underrated, mostly foreign animation. From left to right clockwise: Comet from Astroblast, Ian Kelly from Being Ian, Wes from Wandering Wenda, Dan Mandel from Dan Vs., Fred LeBlanc from Fred's Head, and Mr. Tickle from The Mr. Men Show. With Comet, Wes and Tickle, I also made them humans because I felt their original selves wouldn't work in this genderswap, through again this is really old art so this opinion might have changed.

- Since Roller Brawl is a vampire, I feel like she would be the same age as Mavis from Hotel Transylvania. Both 118

- Ro-Bow, Drill Sergeant, Blaster-Tron, Starcast, Drobit, Countdown and Jawbreaker are non-binary and go by they/them

- The Golden Queen’s full name is Golda Apple Valencia 24k Aureate

- Wash Buckler has 3 hearts

- Astroblast is a crystal alien

- Fire Kraken and Freeze Blade are the youngest in the Swap Force

- Mysticat is transgender 🏳️‍⚧️

- Star Strike and Starcast might be cousins

- Blast Zone is non-binary and goes by he/him or he/they

- Flameslinger is Vietnamese 🇻🇳

- Ember is a fire jinn (Jinn are kind of similar to genies but they can’t grant wishes)

- Barbella is a crystal golem and she’s a lesbian

... so I've decided to rename one of my obscure ocs, right? A cruise (space)ship who ran off with her captain Luna and they conjunxed?

One of the names I was considering for them, (because I thought Bayline might fit an aquatic character more), was Astroblast

I went to go check tfwiki and see if any of the names I've been toying with are shared by any canon characters I missed somehow

Guess where the name Astroblast shows up?

That's right, Censere's list of bots who Disappeared and he wasn't able to confirm whether they were alive or dead

No other lore behind the name other than the fact that it was someone who couldn't be found

...a very convenient thing that would go well with two bots who did not want to be found, one of which possibly having been trapped in their altmode for a long time >:D
